"I don't believe Tifa should enter... but do what you think is right; I do not know..."
"Boosting has had complications... Being uncertain how it is that Cloud has become strong enough to fight Sephiroth in the first place... I know now his wounds are not entirely healed and I am reluctant that he is in the fight. Although... there was something sensibly stronger than Sephiroth... or Zack would be alone right now."
"There needs to be a passage to channel strength to him, be it mentality or my remaining energy... and yours... What do you know of him that could boost without my using intense magic... if it should go wrong suddenly, it may burden them both."
"We have seen their determination... maybe it is time to let things go; it is not without honour... this is backtracking... I don't think those two will fail. I see it in them that they were here to take the risk of death, with or without us."
Squall threw the cell on the floor. Noctis was right....It was too dangerous to bring Tifa here....But if he could at least talk to Tifa to let her know what was going on....But this place was so out of signal with cells it seemed.....And Squall fell in the chair beside Cloud's bed....He rubbed his hands on his face as he listened to all what Noctis said....Squall though did not think that for one second that Cloud could defeat that Darkness in him by himself.....But as long as Zack was there with him....He'd have a better chance....
"I...I don't know....He's my friend....That's it....I don't have any thing to offer Cloud....But friend ship....And years ago I would not even have that....Thanks to Rinoa I have that at least to offer...."
Squall looked at his friend and gasped as he saw heard his friend gasp for air....There must have been some thing that had to happen in the last few seconds for Cloud to wheeze as he did.....Cloud never opened his eyes. But Squall grabbed Clouds hand in his and felt how much colder Cloud had gotten.....
"Noct...We might not win this fight....Unless Zack can come up with some thing......"

Sephiroth
Sephiroth concentrated completely on Cloud now, although he still checked on the two men that had yet to enter their fight. If they were then they were smart, no one should take him lightly. The smirk never left his face as he stared him down. Though he didn’t completely look at the two men, his SOLDIER training wouldn’t allow him not to know every movement they made. He did know that, even while not completely looking at them. His eyes bored into Cloud’s, and he had forgotten all about Zack. He could tell he had hit his weak spot, and he relished the feeling that he had succeeded. He knew Cloud’s weak spots, so attacking him emotionally was easy for him. Standing there, his chest bleed from the wound Cloud had inflicted in him.
He glanced down at it, it wasn’t extremely deep, but it stung, and the bleeding flowed from it. He smiled when his lightning his Cloud in the chest. He swept the masamune to the side and his hand came down, the storm he had created swirled around them, dark and gray. He watched in almost slow motion as Cloud was hurled onto his back from the force of the magic hitting his chest. Sephiroth walked toward him a step at a time, his green eyes burning while looking at the strong man who was now on his back. Sephiroth had never actually bled from a fight before, and he disliked it now, it made him angrier, but also more controlled. He knew he had underestimated Cloud, which was why Cloud’s attack had succeeded on him.
He was putting the darkness once more in Cloud, and he was too weak to fight it off. He raised his hand to chest height, his fingers curled as he summoned more darkness then he had ever done before. Tifa wouldn’t be here to give him light, and Zack, he was to weak to do anything either…he had won! He glanced over to see if the other men would try and help, but no such thought seemed to be in their minds.
As he walked close to Cloud, his eyes showed no mercy, only insane, cold power. “I told you Cloud, that I would never be a memory!” He saw the other two men suddenly leave, they disappeared, wise choice he thought to himself. “Now Cloud, you will finally find out what the lifestream is!”
Suddenly he heard Zack speak Cloud’s name, and turning his head, he lowered the masamune slightly. Zack had staggered away from the rock, but the grip on his buster sword was strong and firm. He laughed, “And you too Zack, you will be going there again with Cloud!” He taunted him, thinking of the weak man, he chuckled. They would never be able to win against him. “Why even try? it will get you nowhere!” Turning, he held the masamune in both hands.
He shook his head, before his head dropped a bit, chin went toward his chest, his hair swept over his eyes, ruffling in the strong winds. Then his chin came up his hand ran through his hair, then his hand came down with a twist. His hands were relaxed, he always did when he was about to fight. His body was poised, ready for attack, then suddenly Zack started to glow bright yellow. Sephiroth stood slightly in awe, what was this? He didn’t know what it was, but he stood ready as Zack decided to attack him.

Zack Fair
Zack was standing upright, his sword clutched tightly in his hands when he saw Cloud get knocked back by the force of Sephiroth’s magic. “NO!” he yelled, before straitening up completely and whipping the buster sword up. He saw his best friend laying there, wheezing, and Zack felt his pain for him. The words Sephiroth had said, they weren’t true, none of it was true. Sephiroth had taken what he knew about Cloud, and had used it to hid advantage. Sephiroth knew Cloud felt that way, weak, but he wasn’t. Cloud was one of the most powerful humans he had ever known, or possibly the most powerful human.
Remembering the conversations they had had, Zack knew that Cloud thought himself useless a lot of the time, but he wasn’t. Zack had always known he was powerful, extremely so, and had always wished Cloud would realize that as well. He stood there, watching his best friend lying there, and he could feel the darkness taking hold. Darkness….Sephiroth was a master at entrapping someone in darkness, and he seemed to have special power over Cloud, that was because of the S-cells inside him…more commonly known as Jenova cells. Jenova….the harbinger of death, she was the root of all the problems. If she hadn’t existed, none of this would have happened.
No time to think of that now though. Right now, in the moment, his best friend might be dying, and Sephiroth was going to kill them both if he didn’t get his butt moving. Once more, Angeal’s words flashed through his head. “Focus Zack!” his eyes narrowed, determination flashed, he wasn’t going to let this happen! Sephiroth still bled from the wound Cloud had inflicted on him. As he walked toward him, Zack took a few running steps foreword. “Don’t you dare Sephiroth! You get away from my best friend!” As he stopped and turned around, Zack balled his hand into a fist and raised it into the air. “Cloud’s not going to the lifestream, and neither am I!”
Shaking his head, he glared at Sephiroth, “why? Because Cloud is my best friend, and you shouldn’t be allowed to live Sephiroth! Your time is up right now we’re going to make sure of that!” He watched as Sephiroth’s hair ruffled in the strong winds that whipped around them. In those few seconds, he could imagine himself back in time when Sephiroth and he himself were back working for ShinRa. They were the good guys, the hero’s. His face softened a little bit, thinking about those times, when Sephiroth had been a good friend to him, everything had been so simple before Genesis had deserted. But was he really in the wrong? Genesis had left because he had figured out what ShinRa truly was, Zack had learned the hard way, and Sephiroth had as well. If Sephiroth hadn’t been told in the way he had been, things might have gone smoother; Sephiroth might not have gone crazy.
He breathed and remembered that Sephiroth was indeed crazy! He wasn’t the Sephiroth he once knew, he was someone else, and he was insane. Pulling the sword up close to his face, he rested his forehead on the blade and closed his eyes. Both hands were wrapped around the handle of the sword, and taking a deep breath, he tried to clear his mind. Opening his eyes, he had a twing of a smile on his face, his eyes were peaceful. Suddenly his eyes glanced up to see a ball of light energy coming toward him. It was a bright light, yellow in color. Zack felt it wrap around him, and somehow, it seemed to give him even more lightness, “I have enough for both of us Cloud!”
Whipping the sword to the side and down he glowed with the energy that had been hurdled toward him. “Come on Cloud, don’t die on me!” He muttered, before taking in a deep breath. Cloud had just saved him, and he would do the same, he would save Cloud now. He saw Cloud’s eyes on him, he nodded slightly, trying to tell Cloud it was alright. He needed to get to Cloud, to help him, to get lightness in him, to get ride of the darkness that was swirling around him, threatening him. He wasn’t going to let the darkness take over. “Cloud, you hang in there, everything is going to be alright ya hear me?!” Feeling empowered, he swung the buster sword and jumped in the way of Sephiroth, blocking his way from Cloud. Backing up slightly, he crouched down and laid a hand on Cloud's arm, feeling him relax slightly just from his touch. "Its ok Cloud, everything will be alright!" Raising himself back up to his feet, he narrowed his eyes and raised the buster sword up. His feet were placed wide, balancing himself. “So come and get it Sephiroth!”

His positive space was filled with some anxiety, unexplained and foreign. They had all only acquainted themselves and within hours, they shared one another's pains like that was life. He was a perfectionist in his own right, but whatever he was hoping to do to help was not perfected in any way. The sensitivity reached his eyes, his skin and he felt the surroundings and noticed the floor to be darker than black. This was a fantasy world that he could not shun, but he couldn't not loathe the reality either; the way he saw Cloud, looking like death, disturbed him slightly.
The cell phone clacked as two hard surfaces cracked eachother; it didn't break. Noctis hadn't expected it to be thrown, but it also surprised him nothing split in a scattered mess, as he observed. His eyelids retracted and swelled his eyes so that he had a gaping stare at the display, of which was redirected to Cloud. That man was struggling with an invisible strangulation; all ends of thoughts ceased, and he couldn't respond the way he should to the matter. Everything in between calm and nervous, he looked on as Squall touched Cloud's hand, expecting silently that though the skin was pallid, it would be warm; this wasn't the case all the time, but he hoped it was not like when sweat broke out cold. Not wanting to worry about things was one issue, the other was how he was supposed to let this be, or not. The exceptional amount of thinking provoked him and he turned so his back faced them, his gaze at the ground seeing nothing... as he reflected again and again, and again.
Squall went on about Rinoa as though everything revolved around that woman; Noctis had never been pushed to do or feel the same, it was always indecent for him to not be the only one to influence himself by the end of the day, in general, and yet, perhaps it was spectacular for Squall. "Neither of them... want to die, and so... they won't."
He had seen what had happened with Cloud's rejuvenation and Zack's fighting spirits, it was only stress of the unknown as they were now away, that made them panic. There was this streak of a stubborn type A that made him resolute in waiting it out, or even jumping on the luck train, when the luck was being made by someone he believed would do great without him. They were soldiers and they lived or died regardless...] the idea made him fold his arms, and then he spoke with the first sign of empathy to Squall after having been so certifiable. "Friendship... is perhaps all they ask of you, and if you give that as your offer; it should be more than enough to Cloud. Not in the least, as you put it... Once it started, you don't go back either... most of the time... years ago when you hadn't, simply meant the time it took to realise that not just anyone is a friend... and there's more to it. We want what we cannot have... but it seems friendship is universally desired against all odds, even by the most depressed."
There was strange patience with him, he was sailing smoother than he had with Squall now, and though many feelings were what he usually suppressed, he wasn't ignorantly rigid, only needing interaction to fit himself appropriately to others. He had many concepts, such as if honour went further than duty, or if the latter of everything he was tied up on right now, with thinking, was too cryptic but going back to the situation... Noctis chose his words in detailed planning. "Do you... want to go back? We must, only if we know we can do something, but we can't not know whether they need anything either. I am certain, they bear eachother's wounds... do you believe, both of us will make a difference, if we returned or does trying matter more to you?"

((Lucky me I had this part already post ready!! XD))
“I told you Cloud, that I would never be a memory!”
“Now Cloud, you will finally find out what the lifestream is!” All Cloud did at that moment was give Sephiroth a scared look. As he saw Sephiroth walk up to him. Sephiroth was always a lunatic, but this was extreme. The mad man has managed to sink into Cloud's mind. Would there even be a way to get him out? A voice of familar came to him them....“Come on Cloud, don’t die on me!” He knew that voice. But from where as he starred up into nothing. But he felt the gentle hand on his arm. Anbd that cause just enough to ease the pain Cloud was feeling from the magic Sephiroth affected him with...Because all that Cloud saw now was Sephiroth....No one was there to save him...Until that hand was placed on his arm....Cloud even stopped gasping for air.... “Cloud, you hang in there, everything is going to be alright ya hear me?!” "Its ok Cloud, everything will be alright!"
Cloud simply nodded at that. He had no idea who Zack was but he was encouraging him...The Darkness was working. And Cloud hated being helpless. He hated taking everything so damned literal. But, this time he was powerless just as Sephiroth told him. He was going to die....But he had to hold on....He just knew there was a reason for him to not give up...Then another image entered his sight....Tifa came back....."I...I don't know who you are....." Cloud said softly basically to himself....But Zack would probably think it was addressed to him....Seeing that Zack was still by his side....If Zack looked closely he would see the breathing in crease not just his stomach but his neck as well....There was no way Cloud would be able to fight back now...Now that Sephiroth had the Darkness inside him taking control....That was when, his body stopped moving....He could no longer hold on....He would know what the Life Stream was truly like if Zack did not rip Sephiroth apart now....All they needed was a little more Light....But where to get it? Cloud was letting Sephiroth win....And the Darkness was taking over.....Cloud's eyes were pure pitch black...He was losing all of what he worked for all his life....
"Z....Zack...." An amazing turn.....Cloud saw Zack then in his own eyes....He was slowly remembering....All because he saw Tifa earlier....She told him that all he had to do was think about her or at least see her face, and the Light she carried would just be enough to help him survive....."Finish...That...bastard....off...." Cloud said to Zack just then....As he continued to use what little Light he had left...Cloud might be drawn to the Darkness and he might have J Cells inside him, that never made him a monster....He was human....some thing Sephiroth never was....And he also had some thing Sephiroth never cared about having, love....He had to hang on....Not just for Zack, but for Tifa...His love of his life....He couldn't fall into Darkness now...Not now....He had to fight this...Just as Zack said....Sure he forgot about his friends for a split second, but...thanks to Tifa's loving smile and warm heart he was seeing right now....Was enough for his all pain to cease....Tears fell from his eyes as he continued to look at her face even though she was not even there......[/size]

"Neither of them... want to die, and so... they won't."
Squall looked up at Noctis. He was so sure for some reason.
Squall remained by Cloud's side, holding his hand. And nodded at Noctis told him. If that was all then, Squall could at least give that to Cloud & Zack to help them any way possible to beat this monster that has been tormenting them for years now.
"Then, that is what I'll give. My friendship...I've fought Cloud in the past, I can only hope now that he has forgiven me for that. But as you said it some thing that every one almost everyone, desires to have....Guess I was one of the lucky one...." Squall then placed his hand on top of Cloud's fore head to give him a sense of peace in this painful feeling that Cloud was getting...
"Do you... want to go back? We must, only if we know we can do something, but we can't not know whether they need anything either. I am certain, they bear eachother's wounds... do you believe, both of us will make a difference, if we returned or does trying matter more to you?"
"No!...I...mean...no...Like you say, what difference would it make if I did? I know these guys alright...There was never a problem they couldn't handle when they were together in the past....Why stop hoping now that they won't make it through this...."
At that, as he talked on Squall's own hand was lighting up with some yellow light substance.....It was the Light of friendship he was giving Cloud to make his body stronger inside....Maybe that was what Light, Zack needed to finish the job! But Squall had no idea how bad it was getting....He felt it though....and he was pretty sure that Noctis felt it as well...."I...I don't think we have to go any way....I think it's working...."

Sephiroth
Sephiroth saw that look that Cloud gave him, and he chuckled. They could not hold him back, he was Sephiroth!! The chosen one, a god! Nothing, no one could ever stand in his way permanently! It would go in many ways like it had in that reactor so long ago! He would slap Zack down easily, only this time he would kill him, and then, when the stronger of the two, Cloud came at him, then he would impale him, letting him die slowly, perhaps torturing his emotions. He smirked, the look on his face was sadistic pleasure.
He merely laughed at Zack as he started to try to take him on. “You couldn’t last time Zack, what makes you think this will be any different?” He laughed again, before turning his eyes to look at Zack. “You will not do anything, in fact, you will fail this time as well, you will both fail, so why try?” He glowered at him, but it was a taunting look that he gave him. He turned then completely, his full body facing Zack. He stood still, almost waiting for something to happen.
“Always trying to save the world eh? Haven’t you ever realized that the planet doesn’t care, its not worth saving? You ‘save’ it, and yet the world despises you, they hunt you, they try to kill you, when will you ever get sick of playing the Hero? I went down that path for some time, and you know what I learned? I couldn’t live on that side!” He spoke harshly, his eyes on them both. “But…can you? Can you really live on that side?”
For some reason he thought of Genesis. Genesis had figured that out before any of them had, him and that worthless poem of his! His chest still bled a little bit, a warning not to get overconfident! He growled, “You will all pay!” He muttered under his breath. He hated them all, everything they were, or pretended to be rather! What would they do? Cloud was remembering! He was pulling himself out of the darkness slowly…or was he? Cloud was breathing rapidly, shallowly, not able to get a good breath.
That was a good sign! He smiled, his right hand lifted from the masamune, summoning black magic in an orb that swirled around his hand and wrist. He smiled at them both. “This truly is the end for you, what will they say? Anything? Will they even remember you? Or will they forget you in a moments time just as they do everything that is not useful to them anymore?” He smirked, “You will not find out, but I will, just before everyone dies and I use this planet as my vessel, I will see if they remember you!”

Zack Fair
Zack heard Cloud, but he didn’t know who he was talking about. It could be any of his friends…but he looked closely at Sephiroth as he walked towards them. He lifted his chin, blue eyes looking at his previous friend, but now the man who caused suffering to everyone he came in contact to. Sephiroth was the devil, he destroyed everything he could, and he loved it. He was truly not the Sephiroth he had known before…and yet he could not hate him. He could never hate him…and yet, Sephiroth was just something they had to destroy, forever! He knew, Sephiroth was right, he hadn’t been able to defeat him last time, he couldn’t do it alone this time either! He didn’t let that show in his face, but he knew it was true.
What Sephiroth said was true, but that didn’t mean that they should be like Sephiroth. He nodded, displeasure on his face at having to face Sephiroth again, but also a hard courage was there. “I can live on this side Sephiroth! And you know why? Because it’s the right thing to do. The world needs something, even if they don’t appreciate it, those humans, they deserve to have a chance, a chance at life!” he lifted his sword, looked at it, and smiled at Sephiroth. “Your going down Sephiroth, you can’t win!”
Twirling his sword, he heard Cloud tell him to finish him off. He remembered telling Cloud those exact words. “Oh no you don’t!” He was still glowing, from the light. He smiled at Cloud, “We’re going to do this together!” Lifting his hand, he summoned a great ball of that light energy that Cloud had helped him get, and kneeling beside Cloud, smiled down at him. “We’re both hero’s!” And putting his hand on Cloud’s chest, all that lightness went into Cloud. It had healing power as well, It would give Cloud the light and power he needed to resist the darkness completely and become strong once again. While Sephiroth was taking pleasure in telling them that they would die, it had given Zack enough time to do this and not worry about getting stabbed in the back as he did. Holding his hand out, he smirked as he looked at Cloud.
He waited, waited for his best friend to take his hand. Cloud was the stronger of them, and he could admit that! He couldn’t do this without Cloud! Not just because he probably couldn’t even come close to Sephiroth, even with his new powers, but because…well this was something, really the first thing, they were truly going to do together! He smiled, his right hand still closed on the handle of the buster sword.
“Lets finish this!”
