"Do it! I need to get to where Cloud is! Do whatever you need to do! I just...have...to get there!" "I'm sorry...but I...I heard Cloud, he needs me!" "But what about you? With your magic transferred to me...would something bad happen to you?" Was it faith? Was it a power that Zack had and he could pick up on things like that? Squall didn't know....But if Zack said that he heard Cloud....Squall believed....
"Nothing bad will happen to me...the Crystal's powers protect me and I command it. Do you know where Sephiroth is?" Squall looked at Zack hoping that by hearing Cloud, that Zack did know....."Squall you would come with Zack? I shall return here after...as we...cannot leave Cloud unattended..." "You bet I will....Besides I've gotten bored the last few days with no action...I'd be honored to help Zack...."
"Think of where Sephiroth is... or if Cloud can tell you where... as he has been able to contact you through his subconscience, Zack you should know the way there?" Squall glanced over at Zack and hoped that Cloud gave him some thing to go on......But stopped dead in his placed when Noctis placed his hand on his fore head....Squall was forced to shut his eyes....His body felt numb....Was Noctis transporting them to Cloud? All Squall could do was concentrate on Cloud......And that when he heard Cloud finally....."He's in my mind!!" Squall gasped....As he heard Cloud's voice....It scared Squall a bit...He never had that happen before.....

Zack Fair
Zack nodded when Noctis said nothing bad would happen to himself. Always thinking of others, Zack wouldn't have wanted to put Noctis in harms way to help another. Although, Cloud was his best friend, and he had hardly known Noctis for longer then a few hours. He still had respect for Noctis, and Zack hated to put anyone in danger.
At his question about Sephiroth, Zack closed his eyes. Cloud needed him. He begged to know where Sephiroth was. He could feel Cloud's pain, and then he knew. Opening his eyes, he saw Noctis suddenly walk toward Squall and him. "Thanks Squall...for coming with!" He spoke in a low voice, controlled, yet he wondered what would happen to them.
His gaze switched to Noctis, he could see the sweat coming off of his body. It must be taking a lot out of him! He didn't think about it anymore. "I have him in my head!" He heard Squall mutter that as well, but he was trying to focus on Sephiroth. "Cloud...he is telling me...where...they are!" He gasped that out, he could feel whatever Noctis was doing starting to take charge, to send them to where Sephiroth and Cloud were?
He felt it working. Closing his eyes to the magic, he tried to relax his body. He was trying to take some stress off of Noctis. He was going to win, they were going to win! They had too! No matter what, they had to win! He didn't want to die again, but he knew there was a chance he was going to. He wished he could have seen Aerith...just once. He wished he could have spoken to her...just once. But he couldn't do anything about it now! He would just have to make sure he came back to talk to her, to be with her. He didn't know what was going to happen to Squall and himself. His eyes snapped open. "Noctis! Take care of Cloud here!" He yelled it over the hum of the crystal magic. Reaching out, he grabbed his arm, his blue eyes brighter then ever as he gazing into Noctis' eyes, "And Noctis! If this doesn't work! and we fail?! Tell Aerith that I...I love her!"
He glanced down, before gulping. "Please just tell her that! and whatever happens to us, if we don't come back...thank you!" He knew Noctis probably didn't know who Aerith was, but he hoped that he would find out to tell her that. "Just don't fall in love with her!" He said that part jokingly, a sparkle in his eyes. That was Zack. Finding something to joke about when he was going in to face something like what he was doing. He nodded, his yes full of respect, before stepping back, and waiting to be transported to where Sephiroth and Cloud were.

Sephiroth
Sephiroth was getting angry at Cloud. The stupid boy...relying on pitiful humans to rescue him. "Humans! you still fight for those pitiful insects?" He scoffed, his eyes angry. "You are not as strong as I thought you were...only the weak fight for others!" He was angry, angry that Cloud was wasting his time.
He tried to control his temper. But it wasn't doing that good. Cloud was saying that Jenova wasn't powerful? His mother...was the most powerful being, and should be treated as such. His temper flaired, yet he kept in under control. He was warped when it came to his 'mother' but his strong ties to her kept him under somewhat of a trance. If someone had just simply told him about Lucrecia, Hojo and Jenova, he might not have cracked. But finding out the hard way was harmful for anyone's health.
Sephiroth was unstable emotionally. That, added to the fact that he was superhuman with his abilities, coming from Jenova, an alien figure made him extremely deadly. His intelligence didn't help anything. Sephiroth was a god, the chosen one as it was. Chosen by his mother, he would wipe the lower humans off the planet, and then use it for his mother. They would start a new race, those that weren't pathetic like the humans he had lived with for so long.
He didn't care about any of them! Suddenly he saw Cloud's sword. Cloud clung to it, his body somewhat weak, yet his eyes were determined. Narrowing his eyes, Sephiroth laughed. "No, you cannot Cloud! Tifa...Zack...no one can help you! You will become a slave to mother...or I shall put an end to Your beloved Tifa!" He shook his head, "She will be easy to break..."

The Runes wrapped around them in a flurry, wind a gust. As Squall unexpectedly exclaimed, Noctis' eyes went ablaze with dim light. They appeared to have a translucence as he heard things but listened to nothing. The whole activity of the magic stopped abruptly and he looked at Zack, squinting which contorted his blank expression as if to ask who the hell was Aerith now? The positive attitude Zack had shown him, was speaking of 'failure'? but he knew what the consequences could be. Possibilities were more than hopes and dreams.
All these unfinished business he would have to tend to, if they were dead... pressured him slightly; he wasn't one to like thinking about being a messenger of death but it was...human. He took a step into the air and before it would print on the ground again, Noctis faintly smirked to himself. The sparkle of jokes amused him, but what was love without loss; he hadn't forgotten about that unbreakable link. The dreary topic...every joke had part truth, but Zack could remain unfazed, as long as he was still the Noctis he believed to be, he was never going to admit...to love... even if his life depended on it. There was nothing he needed thanking for; they were too kind...how did they manage?
Without another word, he shut his eyes and the image, a mirage of the real place where Sephiroth was liberally manipulating Cloud came like a projection only he could see. It sketched and disappeared, he knew that darkness poured at them and they would feel weightless. Against the physics of the dimension, they would move without sensing they had and Noctis released grasp of both their forearms; he was sure they had all jumped through a portal but the landing wasn't to be feather light. He had left with them, to take them there. Everything would be just long enough...
The glow in his eyes dimmed as he opened them and resolutely, he currently stood between his newfound companions, booting dirt. Staring straight ahead, the realm was the same and so the terrain remained likewise in appearance however, they were where Sephiroth was, now. As far as Squall and Zack's memories had shown, it should be correct... despite seeing no one in sight. It made him tense and a strange cackling, eerily deep voice echoed and filled his head for an instant; there was a presence invisible as of yet. He spun around after taking two steps forward, in full circle and seeing from every angle, he turned to Squall. "I will see for myself who this Sephiroth is...if he makes an appearance within this minute... I will be on my way to Cloud hereafter." Dust swept up from his movement, lingered a foot above ground like mist. The hands by his side, clenched and unclenched lightly to stretch his fingers, signaling he was still in full control of it. "We have not failed to get here...you decide, what makes you fail...and what won't. I think you both know I'd prefer not having to attend funerals... "
The bruised shade of blue in his hair glimmered like the scaled skin of a chameleon when it changed colour. The way he faced Zack, saying that, almost quoted what Zack had said to Squall about hope except it was just a look, he was serious and not... at the same time. Of course he would honour whatever happened. Lowering his chin, allowing more than a quarter of his face to be covered by his collar, Noctis gazed past his shoulder, the iris in the centre of his eye filling up blood red.

"Humans! you still fight for those pitiful insects?" Cloud was human...But was he really? That was now troubling him since Sephiroth said that...."You are not as strong as I thought you were...only the weak fight for others!" "Shut up...."
"No, you cannot Cloud! Tifa...Zack...no one can help you! You will become a slave to mother...or I shall put an end to Your beloved Tifa!"
"She will be easy to break..."
"SHUT UP!!" At that moment Cloud grabbed his sword....And flipped up to stand on both feet....As he gripped his sword you could see the anger in his eyes and the sweat rolling down his temples....His breathing increased greatly...Cloud might not make it out of this fight but he was a warrior.....And he was gonna die with a sword in his hand.....Not to be remembered as some one that gave up on everything! At times it did get to that point of just giving up...But not this time.....

"Thanks Squall...for coming with!"
"Are you kidding...? Cloud's like a little brother to me...."Squall smiled....
"I have him in my head!"
"Cloud...he is telling me...where...they are!"
"Me too...."
"Noctis! Take care of Cloud here!"
"And Noctis! If this doesn't work! and we fail?! Tell Aerith that I...I love her!" "Please just tell her that! and whatever happens to us, if we don't come back...thank you!"
"Just don't fall in love with her!"
"Damn it Zack get serious!" Some thing Angel always told Zack.....
"I will see for myself who this Sephiroth is...if he makes an appearance within this minute... I will be on my way to Cloud hereafter." "We have not failed to get here...you decide, what makes you fail...and what won't. I think you both know I'd prefer not having to attend funerals... " Well that mentioned was enough to freak Squall out a bit....But Squall just gave Noctis a look like the damned you will.....Meaning that in a good way though....
Finally they made it to where Cloud directed them all.....They would hear crying....And in a distance will see some thing Zack would know all too well....One of Cloud's strongest memories....Zack's death scene.......It was tucked deep away in Cloud's mind....As he let go of the past....But even Squall never knew how Zack had died......He looked over at Zack....."Um Zack....Look...."
"My honor....My dreams....They're yours now...."
"I'm your living legacy....."

Sephiroth
Sephiroth smirked when Cloud first told him to shut up. Walking toward him still, slowly, collected, his eyes burned deeply. And then, he yelled at him to shut up. He had hit his weakness…Tifa. He shook his head. “that is the difference between you and me Cloud…You care, and I…I do not. that is your weakness!” Crossing his arms, his hair fluttered behind him, green eyes changed. His pupils changed, now they were flat, like a cats eyes. They flashed, sparkled, changing from a darker green to a lighter, sea foam green.
He stopped when Cloud grabbed his sword. Shaking his head, his lips curled into a snarl. “So…this is the way it is going to be?” He pulled out the masamune and ran his hand down it. “before, I came back because of your darkness, but now, I am not just alive from your darkness Cloud! I am my own being, so simply finding your light will not be good enough, you will have to take on the real Sephiroth, not just an illusion!” He spoke the truth, he wasn’t just coming back from Cloud’s darkness, he was back in truth.
He could feel the change in Cloud though, that he couldn’t deny. The determination in his eyes was something He hadn’t truly seen in a long time. Sure, some determination, but nothing like the look that was in his eyes. It was comical, that he had to admit.
And then suddenly he froze. He had felt someone brake through his barrier defenses, into the place he had chosen to bring Cloud into. His jaw hardened, as well as his eyes. Whoever it was would die, he would personally see to that. However, he was also cautious. After all, something that could break through his defenses…was worthwhile to fight. It might even give him a challenge. He heard their low voices, and suddenly he cursed under his breath. He could recognize Zack, but as for the other two voices, he couldn’t place them. How had Zack gotten here? He would never have guessed that the completely lighthearted man could get into such a dark place, filled with darkness.
He turned around, walking away from Cloud. He must keep Cloud away from them! If he wanted to keep on with his plan, he couldn’t let Cloud by the others! Turning around, he summoned an orb of darkness, flinging it at Cloud. “Take care of that while I’m away Cloud!” He spat out before turning once again and then, walking away. Going through the land, in no more then 20 seconds of walking, he appeared behind them. Smirking, he spoke with a low voice, “Showing your back to the enemy? Overconfidence will destroy you!” He had respect for Zack, they had been SOLDIER members together, worked together, ate together. They had been friends, but now, he shunned him.
He noticed the two people with him. One he vaguely recognized, but the other, the one with the red eyes, he did not know him at all. Glancing once again at Zack, he crossed his arms, “Always Zack the puppy!” He spoke harshly, amusement in his eyes at the name dubbed Zack by Angeal. “I see you brought two others with you…too scared to come by yourself?” He waited for Zack to explode or show a lot of emotion, like he did some times. Sephiroth had never gotten emotion, but Zack was energetic, like a puppy, and sometimes his emotions got the better of him.
Glancing at the other two, he wondered which one was the one who had broken through his magic. His jaw was hard, his eyes burning. Yet, he said nothing more. When Zack didn’t blow up, he was disappointed, but strangely, not that surprised. His arms crossed, long silver hair flowing in the breeze, a smirk was on his face. “So…you came for him!” He shook his head, “I will never get why you pitiful humans stick up for one another…it will only bring you suffering!” He shrugged, “But I suppose being a pathetic human, you can’t even explain it yourself!”

Zack Fair
Zack smiled at Noctis’ puzzled expression when he spoke of Aerith. He knew Noctis must be wondering why he, Zack the optimist, was having some doubts. He had learned from experience that he wasn’t invincible, and neither was Squall. The probability that they might fail was there, he couldn’t say it wasn’t. The last time he had gone into a battle like this, with the entire ShinRa army, things hadn’t turned out that well for him. He had never told Aerith that he had loved her. That day when he had died, he had been on his way to do so, and yet, he had never gotten to do it. He couldn’t say that they would survive, who could have that confidence? No one really was ever sure of the outcome, only how powerful their own abilities were…and how powerful their opponents were.
Zack could see the smirk on Noctis’ face, and his own eyes sparkled. He turned to Squall when he heard what Angeal had spoken to him many a time. He had also learned something, “Damn it Squall! Relax a little!” He didn’t speak it harshly though, rather, it was just himself; Fun, outgoing, upbeat, and happy. He had learned that being serious pressured you even more, made things hard to deal with. He wasn’t going to be serious until he had to be, which would be soon enough. An experienced fighter, Zack knew himself and how to battle well. He wasn’t a rookie anymore; he knew how to handle himself well. He had made 1st in SOLDEIER, which made him something. Not many were that good, good enough to become 1st. The whole point being, Genesis, Angeal, Sephritoh, Cloud, Squall, even Noctis, they were all too serious. It just wasn’t in him to be serious and brooding at all times.
And then he braced himself for what was to come. He didn’t shut his eyes, but he could feel his image transferring to Noctis, and then, they were traveling there. It didn’t seem like they were, but Zack could feel it somehow. A smile was still on his face, yet now, his eyes did not sparkle with humor. They were hardened, determined. He was going to take Sephiroth down, this time, he would not loose to the insane ancient. He suddenly felt them coming out of the trance of the portal Noctis had dragged them through. He braced himself, and then hit the ground hard. He put his hand out to the ground, landing with ease even with the harsh landing. Standing up strait, he glanced around. This is the place alright…
Zack didn’t pay attention to anything that was said at the moment. He was listening, his blue eyes roving the land around him. It was full of darkness, enough to choke a person it was so thick. He hated that feeling, being surrounded by the darkness. It wasn’t appealing, at least not to him. His eyes roved this way and that, and then, he heard the whisper of a voice. Turning, he heard Noctis speak to him, a smile lifted on his face. “I won’t make you attend my funeral Noctis, I’m not aiming to die again!” he spoke with determination this time. He knew the possibilities, and he was prepared for them, but yet, he had a strong will to live. He wasn’t going to blind himself with a lie and say that he was indestructible though, that was a fantasy, one that no person should think.
He heard Squall speak hesitantly as Cloud’s old memories floated around them. Zack saw himself, telling Cloud that he would be his living legacy. He crossed his arms, looking at himself through Cloud’s point of view. He shook his head. What Squall wouldn’t be able to see from Cloud’s memories was that he had taken down practically the entire ShinRa army before his death. It had caused his death, yet, he had put up a great fight, it had taken every infantryman in the army to finally take him down. It had gone down to the last three men with one chopper left. Reaching back to touch his sword, he smiled as he watched himself give it to Cloud. “My honor…my dreams…” He whispered. Then he shook his head, that sword represented HIM, his dreams, honor, his entire being.
And then, he heard the voice. Taking in a deep breath, he squared his shoulders, ready for anything. But suddenly his heart froze in his chest at the voice behind him. Whipping around, his eyes met light green cat like eyes. He drew back a little bit, before straitening up, his eyes determined. “You…” He spoke with a sad note in his voice, yet, he wasn’t backing down from the insane man which stood before him now. One of his good friends, Sephiroth didn’t even think of the past anymore, so Zack wouldn’t either. He smiled though, yes, overconfidence would destroy you, yet Sephiroth had gotten to confident in himself. He smiled at the thought, Sephiroth too confident, too full of himself.
“Yeah…Zack the puppy, always have been, and always will be most likely!” He knew Squall and Noctis would have no idea what Sephiroth was talking about, but he wouldn’t even care if they did. Glancing at his two friends behind him, he stood up strait, just as tall as Sephiroth. “I am not afraid of you Sephiroth…yes you are powerful, but your time is coming! They have come because they want to, they want to help Cloud.” He laughed a little, “I will always help out Cloud, he is my best friend! You used to know what it was like to stick up for your friends…

To die again? What did he mean? Noctis turned his head back, at Zack baffled, as he let the gaze stray towards the misted ground then into the foggy distance. There were no such things as coming back from the dead were there? The magic of a phoenix down is a myth; it just can't be possible even with the tales they speak of about the lifestream. Were there exceptions to this rule? What lay before his eyes was a ghostly image of Zack, who clearly was standing next to him...dying with Cloud by his side. Are my questions coinciding with reality? This threw Noctis off course because he knew Squall was seeing it too, so the scene was far from just a figment of his imagination; he needed explanations but there weren't going to be any. He knew of nothing more to do than to push all the needs to know, to exhalt his strength to battle and protect until things were in order.
It happened very quickly, Noctis heard a faint whisper from Zack and he looked up, eyes slightly dilated then constricted from the surprise; Zack had drawn his sword and what's more...? Sephiroth had made an appearance. The droning voice and arrogance, flaunting one sided views made it's way to his ears and Noctis tingled with an excitement and complex emotion. As he had spun round in a circle to observe and faced Squall and Zack after, he could see directly ahead without turning around now, the figure of a tall man, built and armed with a glistening sword that was unbelievably long. It had broken through and dissolved the scene of Zack's death. This being of darkness, was humanoid...? The force against Cloud...silver haired and smirking...just what powers did he have...
For awhile, he had heard nothing substantially memorable, of what Sephiroth said as he drank the moment in. Then, the words exchanged between the supposed daemon and Zack crescendoed to his senses.Puppy? There is history between them all... He was, assertive of his place now, as being there out of pure will...to help Cloud... The notion made a summary he could hear, was somewhat peculiar but correct and sparked a fire in Noctis. There was nothing to explain...not even of beings like Sephiroth... Mentally, he went blank with feelings towards anything Sephiroth said at this point, to avoid complicating things; there were parts he would agree on but that wasn't right was it? His goal, was to get to Cloud now, but should Sephiroth attack unpredicted, Noctis knew there was one more moment his summon could uphold to let them be fully ready.
The chakras in him, the energy flows, were straining as he had borderline rested that day, let alone channeled more than half of it to Cloud, and almost completely the remainder to break them through to Sephiroth. The red in his eyes darkened as he moved his hand, causing pallets of confetti dust that resembled tiny metal scraps, sparkling even in darkness, to appear. Noctis was named a light, and his magic could only shine in the dark of a night sky; it was dimmed this time however, as a rune did not appear when he wasn't going to fight. The summon was still with him as the Crystal glowed elsewhere in another world; it was slowed down though and only kept up to his speed, but he could see glimpses of nearly invisible, membraned shapes of his weapons revolving around them three. Noctis was well aware he needed to save what was left of his energy, in case things turned nasty, and to tend to Cloud so just one block of the shield could happen for now. His lips were sealed as Zack spoke to Sephiroth. Glancing to both sides, at Squall and Zack, he hoped they would guess his thinking, that ...should Sephiroth attack and be parried by his summon, they had that one chance to gain the upper hand and attack before Sephiroth could return charge at them.

“that is the difference between you and me Cloud…You care, and I…I do not. that is your weakness!” “So…this is the way it is going to be?” “before, I came back because of your darkness, but now, I am not just alive from your darkness Cloud! I am my own being, so simply finding your light will not be good enough, you will have to take on the real Sephiroth, not just an illusion!”
"Sephiroth!! Stand and fight!!!" Cloud yelled as he slashed his sword to the side ready!
“Take care of that while I’m away Cloud!”
But before Cloud could've seen it happen a ball of darkness hurled right towards him...slamming right into his chest! So hard the impact made him slam down on the blackness ground underneath him....And that was when Cloud let loud scream! The ball of darkness that Sephiroth threw was giving off a burning sensation...Red sparks of lightning coming out of it spun around Cloud's body! The pain was so intense that Cloud could not control his own screams.....
His own breath became impossible....As he had no choice but to let the darkness start to take him....Where were his friends? When he knew for certain that they would do any thing to save his live....Was he wrong about their abilities...? "T...ifa....." He managed to say through all the pain....But she did not come to his aid....As Cloud laid there in pain and all darkness a bright light appeared from the distance after Sephiroth left....And started to come towards him....
Cloud was not able to stop moving uncontrollably....His breathing increased....As the darkness engulfed him....A hand transferred out of the light and placed itself on top of Cloud's fore head....It was a soothing relief for him....But Cloud could not see nothing but light and a hand.....Who was this....? "Sweet heart...Let go of your dark side and let in the light....." Cloud would know that voice all too well...Even though he did not see her face...his mother....But she was....dead...."M...Mom?" He said through his own tears....Cloud had not known that in fact his friends were here and that was enough light to help his own mother appear before him.....They were helping him and they just did not know it.....

“Showing your back to the enemy? Overconfidence will destroy you!” Squall at once turned around....Another figure encountered them...A darker figure that is....Squall looked at Sephiroth....And kept quiet for a moment so Zack and Sephiroth could have their talk.....“You…” “Always Zack the puppy!” “Yeah…Zack the puppy, always have been, and always will be most likely!” “I see you brought two others with you…too scared to come by yourself?” "HEY!!" Squall started but stopped himself...Did he really wanna make Sephiroth made? Hell no!! “So…you came for him!” "Where is he Sephiroth?! What have you done to him?!" Two very important questions all three of them would like to know about..... “I am not afraid of you Sephiroth…yes you are powerful, but your time is coming! They have come because they want to, they want to help Cloud.” “I will never get why you pitiful humans stick up for one another…it will only bring you suffering!” “But I suppose being a pathetic human, you can’t even explain it yourself!” "Let me at him!! I'll show him pain!!" Yup Squall was ready to help fight Sephiroth....Even if he had to die in the fight....He was going to prove himself worthy....So hopefully no one would reject him again....What had Squall done since he saw these guys...? Nothing....“I will always help out Cloud, he is my best friend! You used to know what it was like to stick up for your friends…
Squall envied that....A friend like Zack would be nice...To have that insurance of a friend always there for you no matter what would be a great feeling...Squall knew now how Cloud got out of these situations and not be engulfed with the darkness permanently....Cloud was sure a lucky guy.....Squall looked over to Noctis then....He could see the power that the man was wielding....Squall saw the look in Noctis....He wanted to take first blow? Was that it? Squall would not turn that down if Noctis could find a power to throw Sephiroth out Cloud's mind for good then he'd better do it quick...But it seemed though that Zack and Sephiroth had an old score to settle their selves....Squall was just in the middle of everything....He slightly moved towards Noct and whispered in his ear....."Did you hear his scream...Noct let me go find him....I might be able to do some thing....He's losing his mind with all of us in here....."

Zack Fair
Zack's piercing gaze seemed to be drawn toward the silver haired figure standing like a mirage forward about 20 paces. He was so ready...so, poised, like a cat. He looked ahead as he drew the long masamune from his waist. It glittered in the sun, but Zack's eyes weren't on his sword, it was on his eyes...the smirking lips, the smug look on his face. Zack wanted to wipe it off of his face, but taking a deep breath, calming his inner heart.
He didn't move a muscle...until the scream. His eyes opened wide, his fist tightened, jaw hardened. "Cloud!" the whisper of his best friends name left his lips, which were white with fear. What was going on? What had Sephiroth done to him to make him scream like he did?!
His gaze was intense on Sephiroth, yet, Squall and Noctis stood only a few feet behind him. He heard Squall exclaim, his heart rate sped up, beating rapidly in his chest. Right then, he wanted to do exactly what Squall said, Show Sephiroth what pain really was. Something held him back though. "Focus Zack...you need to focus!"
His breath became more controlled, a memory of his mentor flashed into his mind. "alright Angeal...I'll be focused!" If anyone could hear it, it would only be Squall and Noctis, he knew Sephiroth couldn't hear him right now, not with how low his voice had been.
He suddenly became aware of the stance Noctis had taken. He was holding something up his sleeve, some magic of his. Zack didn't know what he was going to do, but he was going to help him along. Did Noctis want to attack first? to get the upper hand? getting the upper hand with Sephiroth wasn't easy...in the least. glancing back, he nodded at Noctis, hoping his eyes would tell him that he would distract Sephiroth, if he wanted to do something to try to get the upper hand.
Though confident in his own skills, Zack knew that he would need something extra if he were going to survive this. He readied himself, steadying his mind, getting ready to attack. Pulling out the buster sword from off his back, he took in a deep breath. Dammit cloud! hold on!! Were here for you, just hang on! he tried to tell him that in his thoughts. Turning his head a little bit, his eyes twinkled at Squall, then they slid to Noctis. "Go ahead Noctis...I'll give you the chance to get us that upper hand!" his voice was low, steady, he understood what he had to do. "Whatever happens to me, don't worry about it!" Whatever happened to him...if he died...or lived, People could say he died to help the planet from Sephiroth's rule!
Turning his head back around, his eyes were a deep shade of blue. They twinkled though, strangely, but they were narrowed. "The price for freedom is steep!" Laughing a little bit, he thought about all they had gone through together. "Bring it on Dammit Sephiroth!" crouching down, he launched himself for Sephiroth. The huge Buster sword, only able to be held by a SOLDIER 1st class operative, was held firmly in his hands. Sephiroth whipped his own sword out, and met his attack with an odd light to his eyes.
Landing lightly on his feet, his sword clashed with Sephiroth's own sword. Lights sparked from the impact as they twirled and parried for a few moments. Ducking down to avoid A swing from the long masamune, Zack caught the sword with his own and kicked out, catching Sephiroth's stomach, throwing him back a little bit. For a moment, Sephiroth was open to attack, but in a split second he was back again. Zack cringed as he met the attack once again, only this time, it was he that was thrown back. Catching himself, he rolled away, before jumping to his feet, his sword held firmly once again.
Orbs of darkness flashed around him, he kept attacking them with his sword, but they just kept coming. And then, there was Sephiroth, once again. Swords clashed, Zack stood there, panting, his eyes going to Sephiroth's. "Dammit Sephiroth...Why did you become this?!"

Sephiroth
Sephiroth stood strait, his eyes showing nothing but contempt. Contempt for the pitiful human race that had stolen her planet away from her! With her superior knowledge and power, the planet should have been hers. But no, they had taken it when she was weak, and now, he was going to repay them for what they had done to her.
His eyes glanced into Zack's, and he didn't like what he saw there. When one of the other beings spoke, he laughed harshly, though there was no amusement in it. No emotion showed in his eyes either. Entirely calm and confident, he didn't let his cool exterior show to the three humans that stood before him.
"Humph...come and try!" His green piercing eyes looked directly into The human that had spoken. They held a challenge to him, to come and take action, rather then just speak. When Cloud started to scream, the smirk came back to his lips. So Cloud hadn't been able to stand up to the magic eh? He liked the sound of him being in pain, that Sephiroth had made him feel pain.
He saw Zack start, and his eyes flashed with amusement. Getting Zack riled up about Cloud was the best thing he could do. He saw the clenched jaw, the tightened fist, and his eyes showed his amusement for this. Why Zack liked Cloud so much he would never know. He was weak! He let his feelings entrap him much to often!
Seeing the two other men whisper, he could tell they were up to something. His eyes narrowed, he was much to smart to be taken in by that! he felt an odd source of power...magic power! He didn't like it, but he stayed cool, confident. He didn't let anything show, but he smiled as Zack started working himself up about Cloud.
And then, the smirk slipped from his face. Zack seemed to be thinking of something, something that was making him calm again, focused. Angeal... He knew it was him, Zack had always been close to Angeal, and he had taught him a lot about staying focused and serious. He could tell he was remembering.
Zack pulled out the Buster sword...He wasn't truly thinking of...? And then he attacked. Pulling his masamune out from his waist, he met Zack's attack, an intense look in his eyes. They would all pay! Mother deserved better then this, and what had she gotten? He was caught off guard at how strong Zack was. It almost seemed like he had more power then ever before! When he caught his sword, he grunted a little bit as his foot caught him in the stomach.
He was stumbled off guard, but it only took a second to right himself again. Muttering to himself, he attacked Zack with new energy, he was in for a fight this time! He was weary of attack from the other two men. One would try to get to Cloud, that he was certain off. He had to keep them away from him! Catching Zack's sword with his own, he flipped him away from him. He raised his right hand, orbs of magic appeared there.
As Zack hopped to his feet, Sephiroth sent orb after orb of dark magic toward the black haired man. And then, he advanced. Swinging his sword down, sparks flew all around them as he tried to hold down Zack. He heard him speak, and laughed harshly again. "You know why I am doing this! why i have become what I have! You betrayed me...you betrayed Mother...your race...you will all die for what you have done to her!"

There was no time for Noctis to answer Squall. He had heard him yelling and hollering questions that were going to fall on deaf ears. Noctis could see Squall was agitated, more so than Zack but they were both suddenly alive with spirit, ready to tear whatever they could off Sephiroth and shred him to pieces. The two opposing sides were trying to damn each other beyond hell. Watching, the thin Samurai blade his enemy wielded, slithered out of its sheath...and he was reminded of freedom. The price of it, he had named priceless...
It was too late not to battle. Nothing could restrain Squall if he wished to attack Sephiroth, he just hoped it would be a wise move unaffected by emotion. Noctis had to understand that emotion sometimes encouraged the best in people, but with regards to himself, he preferred to play it cool. Know thy self, he embraced the knowledge to stay calm and ready to commit cold blooded slaughter; it numbed him so that he could repeat massacres without feeling great guilt.
The weapon shield he had conjured threw off the orbs Sephiroth directed at Zack luckily, allowing them to clash blade to blade. Just who was Angeal now...names were popping up here and there... He scowled with the strength of Sephiroth's magic; the devil seemed to have been unharmed in their previous fight...or had he recovered...? Having intended to collide with Sephiroth instead of letting Zack counter the attack on his own, Noctis retracted his plan, focused on the new scene with a menacing, murderous intent, in his eyes. His gloved hand completed the wave, and a line of light graffiti traced the motion, florescence spreading as the invisible membraned outlines of his weapons materialised them into solid objects. The sharp, demented edges of swords, axes and fused spears, firearms ...all pointed uniformedly at Sephiroth. Noctis had witnessed Sephiroth as he had swung his long sword, blowing down Zack's buster sword for the moment that they stood facing each other with gritted teeth, again now, after they had just disengaged when one another pushed away and orbs beginning to fly once more.
He released them. Shooting his arsenal at his enemy with full force. Whatever the daemon chose to do; it was an opening for Squall or Zack...there was no way the outnumbering couldn't be played to their advantage. No way. The prince reached above him into the darkness and pulled out his reserved weapon, the falchion he adored next to the double edged spiral blade he had. Jumping, he zapped away from where he stood, to appear slightly crouched, in pouncing stature, about to lunge upwards, beside an unsuspecting Sephiroth, the sword gripped in his hand striking up to lock masamune. There Metal flashed, and he ordered his companions, urged to speak for the first time in battle. "Go!"
They didn't have to care or worry... All he wanted them to know was right before them; they could see it for themselves, that this is Noctis...deeper than his name. Once they made this attack complete; whether Zack and Squall were wounding or not succeeding to scathe Sephiroth, he would be back with Cloud, leaving Sephiroth incensed, and faith in them to finish the task of saving their friend. For now he moved, intending pure pestilence to this enemy. Paused, with opportunities, as had taken matters into his own hands against what odds his body was allowing him in thorough weariness, he inwardly told Squall what he had not said before, that now; it was time to do what he wanted to do.

"There is a way to fight it my love...You have friends to help you. Your love, Tifa is a perfect person for this. But you have to be the one to step up and decide....I love you Cloud....I've always loved you...I must go...One of your friends are trying to get to you...." She moved her hand off Cloud's forehead. And started to drift away....
"M...mom? Don't leave me...." At that was when he cried. He cried so hard....No noise was coming from it either. But he was crying. That was the first time he heard his mother's voice after her death. The pain of that magic was still there. But he knew his mother was right. And that was when he got enough strength to stand. He saw his sword on the ground in front of him. And bent down to grab it. As it grasped firmly in his hand he lifted it...."My honor…my dreams…" Cloud basically told himself...
"You know why I am doing this! why i have become what I have! You betrayed me...you betrayed Mother...your race...you will all die for what you have done to her!"
That was when Cloud spoke up....
"Sorry to keep you Sephiroth....." Cloud shouted over the fight as he walked in full confidence over to all of them.....His sword dragged along as he stopped in front of them.....
