Snow
Snow sighed as he walked slowly. He knew Serah was taking the fact that she was one of the I'Cie hard. It was supposed to be a curse, thats what everyone said. He didn't know everything about the I'Cie, but now that Serah was one, he was trying to find out everything he possibly could. He didn't think she had told Lightning yet. She was scared of her reaction, thinking she would hate her. Snow had never really gotten off in the right foot with Lightning, but he knew she adored her younger sister.
She loved her more then anything, which was part of the reason that she hated Snow. Sighing, he reached for his phone. He wanted to be with Serah. There was going to be fireworks in the park in Cocoon. He wanted to take her there, to get her mind off of the I'Cie. It would be beautiful, the fireworks in cocoon were always beautiful.
Getting on his bike, he traveled to where Serah and Lightning lived. He was almost sure Lightning wouldn't be there, but even if she was, he was going to ask Serah to come with him. She needed to get away, to have some fun, and wanted to give her that. He loved her more then anyone else, more then anything else, and he wanted to tell her that. Her being an I'Cie didn't change anything, he still wanted to be with her his entire life.
Pulling up next to her house, he got off his bike and walked to her house. Knocking on the door, he hoped it was Serah that answered and not Lightning. It would be better for Serah not to feel guilty for going out, and Lightning might make her feel bad about being with him.

Ever since she turned to a I'Cie Serah changed she was no longer herself. It was as if she left apart of her back in those old ruins, but she tried her best to hide the truth from her sister. What would happen if Lightning found out? She was scared of her reaction.
When ever she was home Serah was careful not to reveal anything to Lightning. She hid her mark carefully and pretended that everything was fine. She also locked herself in her room to cry alone, and panicked every time she heard her sister call her name hoping she didn't suspect anything.
In the end Serah just couldn't do this any more. She cried every day once she thought about the truth her future. She couldn't have one not with who she was, her life it was over. She was no longer just Serah but now was an enemy to the world.... everything changed.
"I could no longer have a normal life..... I could no longer be who I was before" Those were her words to Snow but dispute all that she said he still wanted to be with her. She smiled at the thought of him. Snow was the only one that made her smile these days.
She sighed looking down at her hands what could she do now her life now was marked by time she had to complete her focus as a I'Cie but what was it?
There was a knock on the door and Serah got up to answer it. Lightning was already out to work but Serah stayed home. "Snow" She smiled every time she saw him even now he still made her smile.

Snow
"I could no longer have a normal life..... I could no longer be who I was before" Those words still rang in his ears. She had tried so hard to hide the truth from Lighting, and it had worked as far as he knew. Even still, she hid it from Lightning. Snow knew Serah was terrified of what would happen. Lightning loved her, but still, she could be firm a lot of the time.
He wouldn't want to tell Lightning either if he was Serah, but at some point, Lightning would find out. It would be better for her to hear if from Serah then anyone else though. He let his body relax. He knew Serah wasn't happy anymore, or rarely so. He wanted her to be able to smile all the time like she had before. He wanted her to be with her friends and have fun like she used to.
As the door opened behind him, Snow turned to see Serah standing there, her mouth upturned in a beautiful smile. That smile made his heart speed up. He loved the way her eyes sparkled when she was truly happy. "Serah!"He grinned as he spoke her name. He didn't see her as happy as he had before, but he was relieved that he could still make her smile.
Smiling a little, he stood still, just looking at her. She was just as beautiful, in fact, the most beautiful girl he had ever seen. "Serah, there's going to be some fireworks in the park tonight, I was wondering...would you like to go out with me and watch them?"
He hoped she would come. "I really want you to come, I've been thinking about it all day since I found out!" The sun in the sky was starting its decent. It wasn't close to a sunset yet, but in about an hour a sunset would start to appear as the sun would start to disappear. "Please come with me!" His eyes begged her to come with him. He didn't know if she would, because since she had become one of the I'Cie, she had thought that her regular life would be over forever. He wasn't going to let that happen though.
He still had the ring picked out that he had been going to give her when he asked her to marry him. He still wanted to ask her, even if they could never get married. He loved her, more then even he knew. The way she laughed, the way her eyes sparkled, how sweet she was. Lightning thought he would break her heart, thats the reason she hated him. He would never do that to Serah though, never!

"Firworks.....?" She paused looking down could she really go? Snow was still around even after she told him she was a I'Cie he still wanted to be with her even when with who she was, an enemy to the world. "I don't know..." She replied looking down at her arm would if be alright if she went to enjoy this day?
Maybe she should with the time she still had left. It did Scare Serah that she could no longer see a future and she was sad because she knew her fate. She could no longer laugh or smile like she used to. A lot have changed and even Lightning notice but Serah lied to her. She hated doing that to her sister but was scared how could she tell her the truth......?
All Serah could do now was close her eyes and immerse in happier times, to treasure those in her memories that would keep her going and might give her the strength she needed to finally have the courage to tell Lightning the truth. "Okay.... lets go together"

Snow
Snow nodded, his eyes hopeful that she would come. He knew she liked fireworks, but, since that day at the ruins, she hadn't gone to them. He wanted that to change. He didn't care if she thought her life was over, he was going to be there by her side. He saw her look down at her arm, and his eyes grew sad. He wanted her to go with him, to be able to enjoy at least one day with him. he watched her, thinking so hard.
reaching out his arm, he took her hand in his own. Putting his other hand underneath her chin, he pulled her chin up. "Please come with me Serah! You need to have some fun...it will kill you to stay here all the time! just come with me!" His eyes danced, hoping she would come.
Her eyes closed, she seemed to be thinking of happy thoughts. Was he in her thoughts of happy times? He hoped so. When she agreed, a smile broke out on his face, his blue eyes twinkled at her. "Forget about everything...lets just have fun Serah!" He spoke softly, before brushing his hand on her cheek. "Come on, I brought my bike!" His hand still over hers, he led her to his bike. Getting on his bike, he held out his arms to help her on to his large bike.

Serah smiled at Snow some how he always found a way to calm her down. She always smiled when he was around but the memories of what happened a few days ago just brought tears to her eyes. She hid them well from her sister but couldn't from Snow. She knew he could see that she cried without her having to admit it.
Serah nodded with a smile as she took his hand walking down to his bike. She loved being with Snow and the way he was with her. She couldn't imagine her life without him he and Lightning. Those two were the ones important in her life without them she wouldn't have made it this far. She took his hand and got on the bike and held on so not to fall. "Thank you.... Snow"

Snow
Snow smiled at Serah, his eyes twinkling. He just wanted her to be happy! "Your welcome Serah..." He spoke gently, quietly. He took her hand and helped her onto his bike, making sure she was comfortable. Turning the key, he turned on the bike, revving the engine up a little bit. "Hang on tight!" Checking his shoulder for traffic that might be coming up the street, he switched the bike into drive and pulled away from the curb, into the street.
He glanced down at the woman with him. He didn't want her to leave, to ever go away from him. He knew about the focus of the I'Cie, and she was getting worried that she would have to leave. He knew Lightning would probably be mad that he had taken Serah away for the evening, but he didn't care. Although, he knew he was going to have to get to be friends with Serah's sister.
He had never known why she truly hated him so much. He knew she thought that he would hurt Serah, or leave her, or not be there to protect her. He wanted to always be there for her. His thoughts turned back to the moment as he expertly guided the motorcycle down the street. Pulling into the park, he glanced into the setting sun. It would be a little while until the fireworks started, since it was still light outside.
The rays caught Serah's pink hair, making it sparkle. He stopped the Bike before putting the kickstand down. Turning it off, he got off quickly. Raising his hands, he helped Serah down again. "It will be a little while till the fireworks start, do you want to go get some ice cream?"

Serah nodded as she held on to Snow so not to fall once he switched to drive mode. She looked out at the street as she felt the gentle breeze on her face. It was a nice day today. The day of the fireworks festival....
Serah always looked forward to this day and enjoyed seeing the fireworks. She also enjoyed spending her time with Snow and riding on his bike, but with all that happened and truing into a I'Cie she locked herself in her room thinking that was the best option.
She was glad though that Snow convinced her to leave the house. She needed a day out.... one more day of happiness before she has to face the truth. She knew she couldn't run away from being a I'Cie she tried that already and it didn't work.
Serah stretched out her own hand to hold Snow's as she climbed down his bike. She nodded at his question with a small smile. "Yeah.... ice cream sounds good"

Snow
Smiling, Snow gently squeezed Serah's hand as he waited for her to answer. When she said yes, he cocked his head a little bit. Keeping his hand holding onto her own, he grinned. "I know just the place! Maqui said they had the best Ice cream in the entire planet..." Shaking his head, his eyes twinkled, "I'm not sure if he's telling the truth or not though...although out of anyone I know, he would probably know the best..."
He knew Serah had known Maqui before, but he didn't exactly know how. He hoped that Serah would have a fun time. He knew how much she enjoyed seeing Fireworks, they had gone last year, and she had loved them. They were supposed to be spectacular this year. He had originally wanted to propose to Serah this night...and he still wanted too.
He didn't know what she would say or do though. He knew how she felt, that she could never do anything normal again, that her life had ended. That day at the ruins, she had said that she could never be with him, but he had managed to change her mind.
He still wanted to be with her, and even if that wasn't possible, he wanted her to know just how much he still loved her. and that was enough to always want her to be there with him, to always have her by his side.
As they walked up to the ice cream shop, he smiled down at her. The light was starting to fade, the pink hues of the sun caught her hair and eyes, making them light up and sparkle. Pulling out his wallet, he glanced around. "What kind do you want honey?" He looked around, before glancing behind his shoulder. The fireworks were going to start soon. With his bike, they could get a perfect view of them as they went off.

Serah smiled taking Snow's hand as she walked with him to the ice cream shop. She wanted to try and enjoy this day. Watching the fireworks was something she always loved to do ever since she was young. Serah remembered talking about the firework festival several times with Snow she was excited about going with him and couldn't wait for that day to come.
She glanced down at her arm. Her mark was cover so no one could see it but she knew it was there reminding her of what she was now a I'Cie....
"Hm.... Strawberry" She answered looking back at Snow his smile always seemed to calm her and she smiled back. Maybe she could enjoy this one night without thinking about anything else.

((I was going to propose to Serah....what do you think about that?)) Snow
Snow smiled at her when she spoke. He had seen her glance down at her arm, so expertly covered up. He hated that she was so scared of what had happened. It made her an enemy of Cocoon, or at least, that's what some ignorant people had started saying. The I'Cie were enemies...
He hated that thought, after all, Serah wasn't an enemy of anyone! She had never done anything to deserve to become a member of the I'Cie. The I'Cie were viewed as monsters, something that must be eliminated at all costs. Looking into Serah's eyes, he wondered why that was the case. Serah sure wasn't any form of monster, in fact, she had lived in Cocoon her whole life, Lightning worked for Cocoon!
Bringing himself back to the present, he ordered a strawberry cone and a Mint one. Paying the man behind the counter, he took the cones. Handing Serah the strawberry one, he held her hand as they walked back to his bike. They could get a perfect view of the fireworks from his bike. It could hover in the air, specially made by himself, it had that ability.
When they got back to his bike, he smiled as they disappearing light lit up her eyes. It glowed on her face as the sun slowly sank into the sky. Starting up his bike, he helped her on again. "I've been looking foreword to the fireworks for a long time now Serah!"
Going toward the area of the fireworks, he saw them setting them up below. Only a few more minutes until they started. His bike remained without motion suspended in the air. "I hope the fireworks are pretty...what colors do you think they used?"

(That would be a good surprise for Serah)
Serah took her ice cream and smiled at Snow as they walked back to his bike. She tried to smile and laugh a bit more just to forget about what happened. To have one more day of happiness to treasure in her memories,
It was dark now and the fireworks could start any minute now. She took Snows hand and climbed back on his bike. "I always looked forward to the firwarks..... They are beautiful they way the colors are combined together...."
Serah said glancing up at the sky as it soon filled with colors all around them. "Its starting" she said with a a bit of excitement in her tone as she turned to Snow. "I am sure they will be.... just like every year. Blue, pink and purple they always use those colors."

Snow
Snow couldn’t stop smiling at Serah as they walked beside each other. Holding her hand, he thought of the ring in his pocket. He had spent weeks trying to find the perfect ring for Serah. It had to be perfect for her, he had never been so picky before in his life. The darkness had floated down around them, it had come so swiftly, so silently, he couldn’t remember the exact time it had gotten dark out.
He glanced up as he pulled the bike away from the ground into the air. “I love fireworks, mostly because they remind me of you!” He had always wondered at how the colors had blended together so beautifully. He guided his bike quietly as he looked down. He could see the fireworks starting. He smiled at her excited expression. He loved the sparkle in her eye and the happiness that shone from her entire being.
“I like Pink fireworks because I think of you when I see them!” He laughed, then watched. He smiled when the fireworks sparkled and popped into the sky, erupting into a blazing mass of pinks and blues. Reds and greens. He loved the colors, his mouth had a smile on them. He looked down to see the beautiful expression on Serah’s face. Smiling, his gaze swept to the beautiful blue eyes, to the pink tinted hair and back to her excited eyes. “Serah…?” He reached for his coat pocket, as he spoke her name. He was going to find a way to be with her always, no matter what he had to do!

"They are beautiful......" Serah said admiring the colors as they light up the sky. The way they combined with one another and filled the sky with colors got her to smile. For a moment she just smiled forgetting everything as she enjoyed watching the fireworks they were amazing and always got her to smile.
"Of me?" She asked turning around brushing the hair back as she looked at Snow. She was smiling again like before even for a few minutes she was enjoying her time and forgot about being a I'Cie. "Thank you.... Snow" Serah said looking at him as he spoke her name before reaching into his pocket.

Snow smiled down at Serah as she admired the colors in the sky. Fireworks popped up around them as they floated around. They sparkled, flashed, so beautiful in only mere seconds. Nodding, he grinned, “Of you…and that’s why I love them…because I love thinking about you!” His eyes were always tender and sparkling when they looked at Serah, full of love. Shaking his head, he glanced down at the ground before looking up as a huge firework flashed into sky. “I love being here with you just as much as you love being here…I’m glad you are enjoying it though!”
Having reached his hand in his pocket, his heart pounded. Would she say no? Tell him that she could never live a normal life? He didn’t want her to think about that. No matter what it took, he was going to make it so they could be together. Pulling his hand out of his pocket, he took her hand in his left hand. His right held the ring box, his eyes held hers. “Serah…I know you’re a member of the I’Cie…but don’t think about that right now…” He smiled, he was a little nervous; he wasn’t sure how she would react.
Clearing his throat, he felt his bike stop from the motion of going around in the air. “Serah…would you…marry me?” His eyes looked deeply into hers. “I promise I’ll find a way to be together…but I want to be with you always!” He held his breath, he knew he loved her, and he didn’t care about anything else but her.
