Snow smiled, “maybe, lets hope she does, it would get to accept us easier, and your right, she does deserve to be happy!” He smiled a little bit, “yeah, Maqui, don’t you think it would be funny?” He laughed when she told him Lightning would try to kill him if he told her. “Well, she tries to kill me a lot! Maybe it’s a sign of endearment? What do you think?” he chuckled, and his blue eyes were teasing. Of course, he knew Lightning hated everything about him, maybe he should stop teasing Lightning…that might help a little bit. He couldn’t wait to see her face when he called her sis for the first time. She would probably try to kill him then too…

“Poor Lightning, if only she could see that she needed to have some more fun and lighten up a little bit!” He didn’t think he would ever see the day that it happened, but he wished she would be more easy going. She needed to take some time off, learn to laugh again, and have fun. “I think she needs to marry someone that’s goofy, because she might never come out of her shell if she marries a guy just like her!”

He cocked his head, before steering the bike into the dome of fireworks. They were right in the middle of all the fireworks going off, it was almost magical! He looked around, “They are beautiful! I’m glad you came with me, you know, My one wish came true that I had wished!” He was watching the fireworks going on around them, a lopsided smile on his face.

"Maqui I don't think Lightning would like that...." Serah chuckled just at the thought and tried to imagine Lightning with him but that was impossible. "It is funny..... I have no idea how you thought about that."

Serah knew how Lightning felt about her being with Snow, it would be a while till she could accept him and them being together. She was planning to tell her everything on her birthday and announce their engagement. The only thing that scared Serah was how Lightning would react to that and the news about her turning to a l'Cie.

"Someone goofy..... you know thats what annoys her the most.... I can hardly see her with anyone and the last would be a goofy person.... but we never know what the future holds maybe......" Serah paused remembering the past when her parents were still alive.

Back then, Lightning was a completely different person than she was now. She only changed because she saw that it was her job to protect her sister. Serah tried to talk to Lightning about not doing everything alone and letting her help but Lightning wouldn't listen. "You know Lightning wasn't always like this..... when our parents were alive she used to smile and laugh a lot, she was a completely different person than she is now...."

She watched the fireworks and enjoyed every minute, they were always so beautiful. "I am glad that I came too.... you know how much I love fireworks." She stopped and turned to Snow "You made a wish too what was it?"

Snow grinned, he knew, as Serah said, that Lightning would hate Maqui, but he couldn’t help but think of that. He loved to pester Lightning, she took everything so seriously, she needed to relax and loosen up a bit! “Well, Maqui tries to be like me, so I thought it would be funny, ya know? Since she hates me so much, to pair her up with someone that tries to be like me!” He cocked his head at Serah, who, also knew Maqui, since they were the same age. She must know how much Maqui tried to be like him.

He nodded, “oh yeah…your right, she’ll probably marry someone that never smiles and takes things all serious…” If she got married at all. Lightning had never seemed like the marrying type…but maybe, as Serah said, they never knew what the future would hold! He noticed that she paused, what was she thinking about? The future? Or the past?

Lighting…wasn’t always like this? He couldn’t imagine Lightning any other way, but he wished he could. He nodded slightly, so she had been thinking of the past…? Snow wished Serah hadn’t had to deal with so much, and now she was a l’Cie…no wonder she was taking it so tough! “I wish I could have seen that…but well I guess I can see why she is like she is now. If she wanted to badly to protect you…” They were going right through the fireworks as they popped and hissed around them, probably wasn’t the smartest thing, but it made it even more pretty! He smiled as she looked at him. “My wish…?”

“That you would say yes…”

His eyes were tender, he had been nervous, his friends had known that, especially Lebreau. The ‘mother’ of Team Nora had read right through him, telling him to stop being so nervous. She was funny, though being the same age as Gadot and himself, she acted like a mother to all the members of Team Nora. He smiled, as he leaned in to kiss her, a fireworks came extremely close to his bike, making it start spinning out of control and he had to start correcting it, taking it out of the dome of fireworks. He got it stable, before looking at Serah and laughing at what had just happened.
