Squall walked down the dark street. He was looking for Rinoa. He was told that she might be in this world. But she was not. He was being separated from the good guys. So the bad guys could knock off the heroes so they would not have a chance at defeating the darkness.
Squall started to get scared. He looked around the strange city. This was nothing like where he was from....But he used all his senses to make sure that things were safe. He longed to be with Rinoa again. The last time he saw her was such a short visit. He had no choice but to leave her....
As he walked down the lonely street, heard foot steps behind him...Not sure who it was, he kept on walking. Trying to find a way to get out of this world and back to his....It was cold here to. He had to zip up his coat. So he'd stay warm....Who was following him....?

"You won't get away now its over" the PSICOM Soldiers said holding their guns up at her. She was surrounded but not afraid. Lightning has been if life and death situations before and this was no different from that. She only sighed lifting up her Blaze Edge. With just one tap she activated her electrical shield and jumped high into the air.
She fired at them all killing most of them then when she got in range Lightning transformed her weapon back to a sword and slashed through everyone of them before landing on the ground.
Lightning ignored the fact that she was bleeding from a gun shot. She was once a soldier taught to ignore the pain no mater how bad it was and just focus on the mission. Now she was an ex soldier but she still had a mission as a l'Cie and a sister.

"There's one get him!" There were two other surveying the streets....At that moment, Squall picked up in a run! He did not want to fight. He knew that this was not a smart thing to do....He was taught better. But this world was unknown to him...And so was the authority...
"Alright! Fire!" They fired right at Squall and they actually hit him in his right leg! He yelled as he fell down...The strange men walked up to him...."Kill him...He might be one with Lightning...." "Yes sir!" Squall then tried to fight back! As he lifted his other leg up and kicked the guy in the face hard! As he try to scoot away from them....Long enough to get himself to his feet again and limped a slow run...He then ran into some one else as he fell down.....

It was only a few minutes till she faced someone else. "Who are you?" She asked pointing her weapon at him. She then noticed his wounded leg. She lowered her sword but before she could say another word the solders followed them.
"Stop them"
They yelled shooting at them. "We need to get away from here" she said grabbing the strangers hand and making a run for it.

"Who are you?"
"Whoa are you?!" Squall asked her back confused. If she was with the Light or Darkness....
"We need to get away from here"
"No kidding!" He said as she grabbed his hand and they began to run. But it was kinda hard to run with a bullet in your leg. But Squall managed. He didn't let the wound bother him. Could this girl be trusted though? They were trying to kill her....Who was good guy, who was bad guy? Squall was so confused.....
Squall all he thought about was getting the hell out of here and back to his world. Rinoa probably thought he was dead. He knew about the Darkness he was just wondering if it reached this world yet.....

They were still followed.No matter how fast they ran the soldiers were able to keep up with them. With a swift turn Lightning fired a lightning spell at them before following it with fire. That seemed to stop them for now.
"Over here" She pointed to an abandoned building not far of and they hurried towards it. Right now Lightning didn't have the time to waste with these soldiers. She was more concerned about her sister and hadn't heard from her in a week. "Where could she be...?" Lightning asked more to herself.

"Over here"
Squall ran with her. As they entered the abandoned building....Squall could not stand any longer. He fell to the floor. At once he took a knife from his pocket. And started to roll up his pant leg. As he saw the wound....He flung the knife towards his bullet wound and at once dug the blade right in to his skin...In a matter of minutes, he had freed the bullet from his leg....As he ripped his other pant leg and wrapped it around his wound.....
"Now are you going to tell me who you are? And who the hell was that?" Squall asked....He looked up at Lightning. He was referring to the soldiers that were trying to kill him and her....

Lightning glanced out at the streets just to make sure they weren't followed and no their was no sign of them. "Good" She muttered walking back in and sat down in a corner tending to her own wound. Lightning didn't care much about it. She was a l'Cie and soon with the help of her crystal her wound would heal.
"I am Lightning and those were PSICOM Soldiers that work for the goverment... now its your turn to answer my question. Why were they after you... are you a l'Cie?"

Squall listened to everything she said. He looked up at her...
"No. I'm not an I'Cie....I'm not even from this world....My name is Squall....And I'm a SEED. A military group on my world....I was told that if I came here, I'd find Rinoa...But unfortunately I have not seen her."
He sighed....As he thought about Rinoa. He missed her so much. She was the only one that could keep him sane....

"Your not from this world?" Lightning asked. Now that she thought about it he did look like he wasn't from Cocoon. His clothes weapon and appearance everything hinted that so why didn't she see that before?
"But then I don't understand why would the PSICOM be after you?" Lightning asked she still didn't tell him who she really was and why the her world was out to get her.

"I honestly don't know. Maybe they thought I was with you....What do you call this place?" Squall remained where he was. He was still not sure that he could trust her....So he took every precautions....All Squall cared about right now was getting the hell out of this world and back to his......

"Then you better leave if your seen with me everyone will be after you" Lightning replied. She didn't really care if he stayed or left that was his choice but she was just warning him of what would happen if he did stay. She placed both hands on her knees as she looked up at the ceiling. "I am searching for someone too... my sister" Lightning only hoped that she was alive and safe.

"I think I need to stay here with you. You know this place....I don't....Have you heard of a portal or some thing that can merge the worlds....?"

Squall looked up but shrugged that part about her sister off. His family was dead. He never knew what it was like to have one....He was an orphan as long as he could remember.....
"I never had a family....I would not know what that would feel like.....Look, I gotta get out of here...." Squall did not tell her the real reason why he was here. He was here to kill some one....And he just found her. He was told on his world that Lightning was a bad guy....And that she would try and get on their side and then betray them.....Squall just found his target.....

"Suit yourself just don't get in my way." Lightning said almost like a warning as she pulled out her Blaze Edge to wipe away the blood from her last fight. She didn't really care about anything or anyone, her only objective now was to find her sister.
He never had a family... she only knew hers for a while and then they died. Lightning sighed looking back up her past was just filled with painful memories. "My only family is my sister and thats why I have to find her..." She turned to him "If you want a way out of this world then you better head to Pulse the portal is there but be careful not many have survived after setting one foot on that planet."

"Well, I'm not one to tell you, that you are doing the righ thing....What happened to your sister?" Squall was thinking to himself that if he got to know Lightning he would see if she really was a bad guy....He would not get soft with her though. If she got on his nerves then he would have no choice but to be mean at her........
"So, what makes you think you are so powerful any way? I mean all I see you have is this gun blade? Which is kinda like mine...."
