With a Crack of his knuckles Geoff leaned against a dusty alleyway wall. His eyes were shut as he let his arms drop to his sides. One of his wrists was casted in a thick rough material after he got shot awhile back. Thinking back on that memory Geoff clentched his fists as left crimson eye opened, the other was eye patched after nearly getting ripped out of its socket a few years ago by the same person who shot his wrist. With an angry sigh he stood straight up before dusting his long trench jacket off before appearing out of the alley looking up and down the street. Nothing. Typical. It was fairly late at night, the moon was setting over the horizon to be replaced by the sun in a few hours.
Geoff took in a deep breath before starting a stroll down the sidewalk. He was in deep thought thinking of any possible way to get that Reaper girl, and to destory her two little followers, Yazoo and Cloud Strife. Those two had made his life way more difficult than it had to be. He could've had what he wanted by now and been done with it and on his merry way to kill more people for money. Geoff was quite the assassin, with the whole teleporting thing it made life quite easy, but not easy enough when dealing with his newly found rivals. Anyways. He was thinking of a way to get to them without him getting completely demolished in the process. Thinking back on past memories and information he had gathered before even coming to this pathetic world Repa now called home...kind of.
Geoff finally stopped in the middle of the street as he looked up from the pavement he remembered something he had overheard from a citizen of this city, which he then killed later. Yazoo did have some family...so to speak. That apparently wasn't happy with the whole Repa/Yazoo arrangement. Maybe that was the way to get through this. To team up with someone this town and most people feared quite a bit. It sure would make things more simple. A smile crept onto Geoff's face as he knew what to do next. He had to track down the one people called Sephiroth....or even known as the One Winged Angel.
((I tagged Repa in this thread, ill add her in much later though))

Sephiroth
One winged Angel stood on a rooftop overlooking Midgar. He stood silently, thinking while looking down on the pathetic humans. He hated them…all of them. There were none that deserved to live, they were weak, ruining everything they tried to protect. They were destroying Gaia, one part at a time, ShinRa, was making sure of that. And yet, now they claimed they were helping once again. He snarled quietly, but his face showed no emotion. So he stood, and his intelligent mind turned to thinking about his own Remnant, and that little girl…she would be the first to die. Smiling, he crossed his arms, eyes roved the street below him. He was going to find Kadaj once more, and then, along with his strongest remnant, he was going to strike.
Nothing could save either of them when the time came. He stood on his own two feet, not leaning against anything, planning what he would do to them both. He had no mercy in him, no compassion what so ever. And most importantly, he felt nothing for his victims. He struck without warning and without hesitation, no emotion held him back. Like Genesis and Zack. He had worked in SOLDIER with them for years, if he had any loyalty, it should be to them, but he could look them in the eye and feel nothing for them. Genesis was the same way, he felt nothing, but Zack…Zack felt something, which was a weakness. He knew Zack regretted what had happened those 9 years before in that mako reactor. What had happened…Sephiroth, had learned the truth. ShinRa had tried to hide it from him, but they could not, and now they were paying for it.
And then something caught his eye. A man walked into the street beneath him. At first glance, this man looked like Genesis, but taking a second look, he saw that it was not. A striking resemblance…why? Something from ShinRa perhaps? Had they raised more SOLDIER’s? Sephiroth was now interested in why this man looked like Genesis so much. (Actually he kinda does lol I was like woah at first! xD)
Green cat like eyes almost glowed as they watched the man walk down the street. He blended in with the darkness of the building around him, as it went on for more stories. But he suddenly walked over to the ledge, the last shreds of light from the sun made him stand out. A tall, well muscled figure in a long black outfit, buckled, but letting his chest show through. His Masamune was in its sheath, about 7 feet long, glowing silver. It had 6 slots for materia, but Sephiroth did not need Materia anymore. Having been in the lifestream, he could use any magic or power on a whim. He had many powers, such as the ability to read minds, project illusions, and levitate objects and people using his will alone.
His silver hair fluttered In the gentle breeze as he looked down at the man. No emotion showed on his face, green eyes watched him the way a cat watches a mouse. No emotion, just the knowledge that if he wanted to, he could kill him. Observant people would see him, most would not. Most of the humans on this pathetic planet would not see him, but he stood on the building in front of this man. Just a tall figure, a shadow from the lightness fading from the sky. Masamune sparkled from the sun shining on it, and so he stood, waiting for the man to see him, before turning and disappearing into the darkness surrounding the building. If the man had not seen him, then he was not worth his time. The time would come…and they would die…all of them, that he would make sure of.
They feared him like none other in the universe. Just his name whispered among them brought fear to their hearts. Forgotten was the times when he had been their Hero, replaces was their extreme fear of what he could do. He could kill any of them if he wanted to, but he did not go around killing. Sephiroth was funny that way. Though he thought nothing of killing, felt no emotion, he did not kill just for entertainment or without the need to. When he killed it was because of his plot, his plan. He rather enjoyed a challenge, and none that he would kill presented a challenge. Though he wouldn't hesitate, he wouldn't kill you just because he could. He would allow them to rule, thinking they were secure, until he took their planet back from them…

Geoff let his eyes wander, only one being able to see, but still. He took in every detail. He was not an ordinary human, he was more than what a typical human being was. He was also a great tracker, nothing escaped his visual perspective even though he was practically blinded in one eye and kept it patched. Scanning each step he took he noticed something, the building infront of him. This sure didn't escape his mental notes. A shadowy figure, not able to see what the man on the building looked like exactly due to the sun's angle and what not. Just a shadow and the glistening of a sword. So being obvervant as he was, Geoff had in fact noticed Sephiroth, but didn't know it was him.
Geoff had stopped in his tracks as he watched the shadow fade away into the darkness. A almost puzzled look crossed his face as he rubbed his chin with his gloved hands. He kept his eyes fixed on where the shadow was before as the skys began to darken even more as the sun had now disappeared beyond the horizon. Geoff wasn't thinking of the shadow figure really, but a way to find what he was looking for. He did have a very sharp mind, thats why he was so good at doing what he did, an assasin, and tracking people. It was really easy to him, like he was born to do it, so this shouldn't be that hard, he just had to find a way to approach his new goal.
"Puzzling....this one might be harder than I thought." He said to himself finally and slowly walking again down the sidewalk, now shifting his eyes back to the streets to take in all the sights and movements. "Not that I figured it would be easy to find someone with his reputation around here." Geoff grumbled to himself. He'd sure done his research before as he was interested in finding out who and what exactly yazoo was before, so typically he had known some things about Sephiroth too. Highly leathel...dangerous, and frightening to pretty much anyone who had heard of him. With a chuckle Geoff shook his head slightly before turning the corner of the next street he had approached.
His mind was clouded with all these plots and plans to do what he wanted. He had many things on his list of things to do, but the number one thing was his original plan, to get rid of the freakin princess and the boys than now were fairly close to her- but seeing as he had tried and failed at least once, he wanted to go at a different approach and his number one mission was replaced with finding sephiroth. How exactly was that going to work? If he went around asking people, you'd think they would catch on. No one would go around LOOKING for Sephiroth, more like running AWAY, they'd think Geoff was crazy, maybe he was? Not like anyone wasn't even the slightest bit crazy now and days. With an angry huff of a sigh Geoff stopped and stared at the ground as he pulled out one of the twin guns he had in his jacket and made sure it was loaded and ready to go. He cocked the gun and held it with a firm grip. Whenever he was frustraighted or trying to think of someway to do something, he went around on a rampage, maybe kill a person to calm his emotions. It was the simple thing to do, take your anger out on something...or someone else.

Sephiroth
Sephiroth stood, waiting to see what happened. Everything around him was dark now. The last shreds of light had disappeared from the sky, replaced with a glistening silver moon. It touched his face, giving him a glowing look when he looked fully into it. The silver in the moon was close to the silver of in his hair, or his Masmamune. Really many things on him were silver, black mostly, but silver as well. His arms were crossed, the night air was somewhat chilly, yet he did not feel it, even against his partially bare chest. His mind was now on that man, the one that resembled his old…’friend’ Genesis. He hadn’t seen Genesis in some time, but this man looked like him and even dressed like him. Was that merely a coincidence? Possibly, but knowing ShinRa, they might be up to something as well.
So he decided that he would not wait for the man to come to him. Obviously he was not coming, so he, as always, would have to do the work. So bunching the muscles in his legs, he sprang from the building, remaining suspended in the air before dropping to the ground. Right before he would have hit hard, he made a graceful twirl and landed on his feet. His hair rustled before settling once again on his back. Not a hint of emotion was on his face as he looked at where he was. No one walked down the street he was now on. Empty of all sounds, he was hidden in the darkness surrounding him. Where he was the moon couldn’t reflect off his sword. He remained unable to be seen. If he wanted to, he could hide his presence using magic he had learned in his most recent stay in the lifestream.
So there he stood, a silent, deadly figure with bright green eyes and silver hair. People that knew him, which were all those in Gaia, would be struck with fear at recognizing him. As it was, most were not observant enough to know him, although his long silver hair was hard to miss. He wasn’t one to keep a low profile, because he feared nothing. He had contempt for those that feared. All humans had fear, that’s what made them human. He was not human, rather, he was an Ancient, a god. So he stood for moments before hollow footsteps sounded on he beginning of the street. He watched as the man was fully in the moonlight for a few seconds. This was the man…
He turned so that he was facing the man, although he didn’t let the man see him. He could feel the anger, the frustration of the man that stopped in the middle of the street. He shook his head, but still no emotion showed. Anger…so this man let his emotions show, amateur. he thought to himself. Though it was possible to fluster Sephiroth, it was only under extreme circumstances that you could see it, for it had only happened a very few times. Never loosing his temper, he was cold, utterly ruthless and deadly. When he showed nothing, said nothing and made no movement, which meant that Sephiroth had reached the end of his patience…and you were going to die.
He looked at the gun that this man held in his grip, and smirked evilly. He had contempt for this man, but then again, he had contempt for everyone. There was no one that had his respect. The only person he had ever respected had been Professor Gast, but he was long dead, and Sephiroth did not respect him anymore, even if he was alive yet. So he took a step out from the darkness, yet his face was still hidden, only his body up to his chest was able to be seen. Chest was partially bare, his 7 foot long Masamune remained in its sheath. His arms were crossed, eyes glowed slightly. “You have to much emotion…a weakness.” His deep voice was spoken, not booming, not loud, but not quiet either. It was true, those that showed emotion were weak, and the weak did not survive.

Sure Geoff had emotion like any human being- but again, he wasn't as complex as a normal human. He didn't show much emotion, he liked to keep it simple and uneffected. He didn't need his emotions getting in the way to show people he had faults and flaws, but then again, he was only human, maybe a super human, but still, he had feelings weather he showed them or not. Never did he show sadness, or happiness- maybe a little when things were going his way or when he was taunting someone, but it was mostly his anger he couldn't stop from escaping. It didn't make people think any less of him so far.
As he walked the sidewalk it just seemed abandoned. No one around to shoot right now. It only frustrated him more. It was a way of releasing his emotions in a way that just was cruel, that way he wouldn't explode into a big frenzy of emotions and lose control all together, it was better to get things out instead of keeping them bottled up inside, unless you were some inhuman, emotionless, heartless....being. Finally the moon had rising and things were brightened up with the moons white light. Something caught Geoff's eye though, making his steps decrease in speed. The 7 foot long sheathed sword was what caught Geoff's eye, and his mind sparked as his anger had completely diseappered and was replaced by a feeling of...relief or something.
Geoff smirked slightly and rolled his eyes- although you could only see one move. "Everyone has a weakness...No matter how tough or emotionless you are." Geoff grumbled slightly. He being very smart, thought back on the details he remembered when learning about this sephiroth. Emotionless, long sword or Masamune, long silver hair etc. This had to be the guy, and Geoff knew it. "I take it...you're the one everyone is afraid of around here? Sephiroth?" What would it take from Geoff, to convince a guy like Sephiroth, to....team of so to speak? Probably a lot more than Geoff was cut out for, but trying had to get him somewhere, maybe with his talent, or the talent he had now, maybe that would get him somewhere. Possibly. "You are actually just the person I was looking for...I have...a proposition for you...If you are interested."

Sephiroth
Arms crossed, hair fluttering, Sephiroth remained silent as this man that resembled Genesis seemed to be thinking. Just his presence made the surrounding area have a different aura. No longer simply the feeling of another summer night in Midgar, but something ominous was in the air. Eyes watched the man in red, every movement, every breath, every emotion. He stood with no movement outside his hair, but nothing else. If not having heard the voice, you might not think him alive, so still was his movement. But then the moonlight hit his face, his cold, stilling green eyes lit up. The emotionless face was the one that brought fear to anyone that came across him.
His lips curled up into a smile as the man smirked at him chose to start arguing with him. Eyes followed him, burning into his eyes as he his gaze did not waver. Uncrossing his arms, he stood there, smirking at the man. “You think everyone has emotion? That is where you are wrong.” He simply stated it as a fact, for he was living proof of a being having no emotion. He turned away slightly so that his side was facing the man, and raising his head, his eyes raised to look into the moon. His lips moved slightly as he muttered a few words, which were not able to be heard by any surrounding him. Some thought him insane, that might be true, but his power and knowledge were matchless. None were above him, not even Jenova, his mother. He was the one that chose what way the tides turned.
He always stood alone, unlike those miserable insects that stood in his way. They ran in packs, to scared to face him alone…with good reason. Once started, it was nearly impossible to stop Sephiroth. Absolutely cold and ruthless, no one could reason with him, once having a goal, he felt no emotion to be swayed by anyone. And so he was what he was…a god.
And then his name was spoken…Sephiroth, a name whispered around Gaia. One that the humans were scared to even say. ShinRa felt anger, disappointment and fear when they heard his name. Everyone had tried to cover up his name, his legacy, to brush it under the rug. It didn’t work though…He would always be known and feared. No one would forget his name, or the name of his mother when he would destroy them all. A smirk came to his lips then. When he destroyed them, they would never come back, for he would use this planet to sail through the cosmos. So he turned, the same devilish smirk on his face, eyes burning bright green, which was from the Jenova cells inside him. “I am Sephiroth, yes.” He remained unmoving. “Who is asking?”
Call him the devil himself, for he just might be. A silver brow quirked when the man in red spoke of him being the person he was looking for. a proposition…? no one would want to be tied in with him unless they were ‘bad’ or thought they were. Looking at the man, he made no movement or showed any real interest in his actions or expressions. “I’m listening.” He spoke evenly, just waiting for him to ask him for his help.

No emotion? Who said anything about everyone having emotion? Not everyone did have emotion. Geoff did, there really was no point in changing that. Geoff was merely stating that everyone had a weakness, no matter if they were emotionless or thought they were god or something. So instead of responding and getting into a....emotional debate, he simply rolled his eyes...er eye and moved onto the next topic of interest.
The next topic of interest was Geoff initial plan, to take out that one that always got in the way, the little princess. Sure he had some crazy obsession with her but now, she just got on his nerves like no other! Anyone who even the slightest bit irritated Geoff, was probably on his hit list, and most people on that list didn't exist anymore as of now. Only three people had escaped that list...the very three Geoff wanted to take down. Hard. Starting again with the one that always got in the way.
On the plus side of things, Geoff had indeed found Sephiroth, seeing as well he confirmed it. Geoff simply smirked before responding, he wasn't really all that talkative with others that he didn't aim to brutally kill, so this was different for him, especially introductions. "My name is Geoffery Cross...and to start off, I am NOT a normal human..." He figured getting that out of the way was the best way to start, being a normal human made you just like everyone else, weak and worthless. "Not to say that im not human...anyways...I've observed this city and a few people in it. Three of them im quite sure you are familiar with or at least have heard of." Geoff started. He didn't know if Repa had yet met this lethal man, but seeing as she was ALWAYS with yazoo now and days, that was bound to happen sooner or later.
"The three being Cloud Strife...Yazoo who I don't even have to ask on you knowing about, and his little...friend Repa Reaper of Delatorr." Geoff was trying at keeping his tone flat and even to not give away any signs of emotion, he was very good at that, even from this man, sephiroth he could hide emotions. It was great. "Im sure they've given you...not trouble, but irritation in the past and I'm wanting to well...destroy them all for good. And as much as I really do hate to admit, I need some help in doing so." That didn't help his case of who he was as a person really. He needing help...eh.
"I was just wondering if you are interested in getting rid of a few...pests that im sure would bother you quite as much as they have bothered me." Geoff was sure hoping Sephiroth would...assist in even the slightest bit of way he could. Striking fear into at least Repa would be a good way to start, and im sure Sephiroth could easily do that with one glance.

Sephiroth
Geoffery Cross…the name was not familiar to him, which was odd. He knew most of what went on with people that were anything worth knowing. He just smirked when the man said he was not a normal human. His eyes taunted him, “I will see about that.” He spoke calmly. He wondered exactly what he was getting at, not using his ability to read minds. He just looked bored as Geoffery talked, though he was paying attention to every word. Sephiroth heeded the council he told to Zack so long ago. Overconfidence will destroy you. Though of anyone in the entire universe, he was the one that had to worry least. No one could destroy him, he was the most powerful being in the universe…a god.
He wasn’t shocked that Cloud was on the list. Looking at the man, he didn’t believe he could take on either Cloud, or his stupid Remnant. Though at the moment Yazoo was angering both he himself and Jenova, he could not deny that Yazoo was powerful. The girl though…she was weak, as all humans were. “Yes, I know them all.”
He crossed his arms as he asked for help to destroy them. He had been on his way to find Kadaj…Kadaj was his strongest remnant, together with Loz they would destroy them all. He had complete confidence in their abilities, but maybe having this man on their side would be a good thing. He had contempt for Geoffery, but he had contempt for everyone. He inhaled deeply, “You are right, I am going to crush all of them, including Yazoo. They are pathetic, and have stood in my way for long enough. If you wish to help me, so be it, I shall have my two other remnants at my side.”

Repa liked being in Edge and Midgar. She especially loved the fact that Cloud and Tifa welcomed her into Seventh Heaven with open arms. It was nice to know that she had a place to stay while keeping away from her infested home world of Delatorr. Another thing Repa liked about this place is that she really didn’t have to worry about any danger…at least alot. She never worried about Geoff stalking around with Cloud, Tifa, Yazoo, and even her newly made friend Zack, who did tell her if she was in trouble to just call, so near to her, she just seemed to figure that Geoff could never get to her, and after his failed attempt at demolishing the three, being Cloud, Yazoo, and herself, Repa figured he’d just stay away for awhile and plot until he finally thought of something good, if that time ever happened. Then she would worry when he showed up again, but until then, life was simple again, almost boring, but still no worries.
Repa jogged around the streets, it was a typical normal thing to do. With all the relaxation she could now have she would fit some exercise in there so she stayed well fit, for when any danger did occur. That and so she wouldn’t get winded walking down the street from destination to destination. So jogging around she had her music player strapped to her arm and the ear buds blasting in her ears to drown out any other distractions that she might have, making her totally oblivious to the danger she just might run into. Hopefully for her sake, she would avoid dying today. Repa rounded a corner and stopped to catch her breath for a moment so she could head back to Seventh Heaven and sleep for the night. She breathed in heavily and exhaled just as heavily as she ran her fingers through her bangs, pushing them back so she could see with both eyes now. She’d ran quite a bit, and she was starting to feel the soreness in the back of her legs, not that it really bothered her…but…something else did. Something didn’t feel right to her, that pre-danger feeling of hers started to erupt in the pit of her stomach…or maybe she was winded from all her running.
Repa looked to her left and right as she tightened her pony tail and didn’t see any sign of danger, but again she was so distracted by the music playing at a high volume that she wasn’t really paying attention. With that much distraction, she was about as useful as using a marshmallow for a weapon. Of course she knew the dangers of being out on the streets, they just never really crossed her mind lately that Sephiroth or anyone else out to get her would be out. It was an obvious thing to know, but it was so obvious, it just seemed to slip her mind constantly. "Thats enough for today." She breathed as she felt the urge to head back to Seventh Heaven quickly. With heaving breaths she decided to start walking back to Seventh Heaven, so she could let the burn in her calves deminish instead of starting with a full fledged run and feel even worse, but still, that sinking feeling, the feeling of danger, adrenaline, was haunting her and she didn’t like it one bit. Almost to the point where she wanted to call someone for help…just in case her gut feeling was right, and as she walked, she kept her eyes scanning the road, and her fists gripped tightly as the music in her ears drowned out everything.

Oh how Geoff wanted to roll his eyes at the taunting of his not being a normal human, but knowing the fact that Sephiroth could probably snap him in half within a split second, might just wanna stay on the good side of things, so Geoff’s expression remained blank and he didn’t say a word. His mind starting to space out a bit. He was thinking how his life would be if he had the kind of power…the kind of fear that Sephiroth possessed. Of course that would probably never happen in Geoff’s world, but maybe one day he could at least conquer the world he once called home before he was banished by that stupid king and his daughter, which brought his mind back to the his initial target. Getting help with destroying the little pest before she took him out any sooner.
As Geoff was listening to Sephiroth speak of crushing the three but wanting his other remnants by his side Geoff’s unpatched eye wandered a little. Still listening his once blank expression changed slightly. One corner of his straight lined mouth curved up and his eyebrows lowered leaving his expression smirky and obviously pleased. Now one would think this was because he basically got Sephiroth’s assistance, although that did help his reason for emotion changing, but really what he saw was a chance to take care of 1/3 of the very problem he was asking for help for. His sight caught on a black haired figure, a good 20 yards away, and the person was seemingly out of breath. Almost ironic timing she would arrive now, as if danger were just calling her to come to her doom.
Geoff took in every detail of Repa standing there catching her breath. Of course she was oblivious by now if she hadn’t noticed anything wrong. Geoff noticed the music player and saw this was a chance to get her off guard, and with Sephiroth there, well this would be one quick accomplishment, that is, unless Repa decided to put up a fight, or she caught sight of what was coming to her which gave her time to call for help or something like that. Geoff shifted his gaze back to Sephiroth, his once smirky smile faded back to a blank face. “That sounds like a great idea and all, but for when facing Cloud and Yazoo…because the little danger magnet has just ran in close enough to strike with out her even putting up a fight. And if she did. So be it.”
Geoff shrugged his shoulders a bit looking back over at Repa, she seemed to notice something as she looked around, but again oblivious as ever, didn’t notice any threat, but then she started to walk off. No worries. “Why not take care of the weakest and simplest task? Instead of having to deal with her later when surrounded by her…friends.” He suggested. It would seem logical right? Take out the weakest link first, then go on to the tough stuff later instead of having to face it all at once. By herself, Repa wasn’t much of a threat unless she ran after you, gloves off and scythe getting ready to chop you in half, but with Cloud and Yazoo around, she was a lot better off. Better take care of an easy problem, before it gets worse and more difficult to conquer. “Especially when she’s only a good 20 yards in front of your face.” He added.
