Zack Fair
Zack was on his way to visit Cloud and Tifa at the seventh heaven. He liked being able to visit people and having them welcome him. It felt good, like he finally had his life in order again. He yawned as he drove down the streets of Midgar. This life of his, after he had come back from the lifestream, he had enjoyed life a lot. Though Sephiroth and his remnants continued to plague Cloud and all of them, that couldn’t dampen his high spirits. He liked the wind on his face, ruffling his hair, the warm sun shining down upon him…a new start…
He liked the feel of the buster sword hanging on his back, the sounds around him. He wouldn’t ever take these things for granted. He was still the same old Zack, as Puppy as he had ever been. As he parked outside of they’re bar, he shut off the bike and looked around. Things looked quiet, were they even home? He shrugged, he would call Cloud if he wasn’t there. He wanted to talk to Cloud about his weapons shop idea.
So he walked into the bar, a smile on his face, but he didn’t see any customers, and no Tifa or Cloud in sight…”Anybody home?!” He spoke somewhat loudly, if they were home they would hear him. Cloud might not be, although checking the clock in the bar, he saw that it was later, almost 5 PM., although he knew that Cloud sometimes got back to the bar pretty late. He cocked his brows, before going and sitting by the bar. He yawned and shook his head, eyes looked around the bar. It was always so clean in here…how did Tifa do it all? He smiled, Cloud had gotten himself quite the woman. He was glad that it had all worked out with Tifa and Cloud. They were made for each other, anyone could see that.
No one…at least he didn’t see anybody. He sat there for a few seconds before yawning and stretching. He was reaching for his phone in his pocket when suddenly he heard the stairs creak. He looked up expecting either Cloud, Tifa or the two kids. His eyebrows raised when a girl he didn’t know caught his eye. He just watched her for a little bit until he suddenly remembered his manners. “Oh heya! I wasn’t expecting…er...My name is Zack! Zack Fair.” His voice was friendly, who was this girl anyway? He ran a hand through his hair and stood up from the chair to his full height, smiling at her.

Repa was so lucky to have found friends that...didn't want to kill her right off. It felt great not being judged for once, and it felt like...she belonged some where, at least for now. She sat on her bed in an upstairs room of Seventh Heaven. Tifa and Cloud welcomed her there and let her stay there, it was so nice of them, and Tifa even made her a room! It was perfect for her, absolutely peferfect. Repa at the time was sitting flipping through pages of an old diary her mother kept before Repa was born. Repa was drawn to that book, its the only connection she had to her lost mother. She was reading the fancy writing so closely before hearing someone from downstairs. From all the silence, the sound made her jump a bit.
”Anybody home?!”
Repa locked the diary up someplace safe and exited her room before hesitating to go down the stairs. She thought to herself. "Maybe...I shouldn't...but it might be something for Tifa or Cloud and I wouldn't wanna be rude." She told herself mentally as she finally made her way down the stairs. When she got to the bottom of the stairs she looked at Zack for a moment before glancing away. It wasn't anyone she had ever seen here before, if Cloud or Tifa were expecting someone...shouldn't they have told her so she didn't just stand there looking stupid? Well finally silence broke again.
“Oh heya! I wasn’t expecting…er...My name is Zack! Zack Fair.”
Zack Fair? Now why did that name ring a bell. Repa quickly returned a smile back to him before nodding slightly. Then it hit her. Cloud had mentioned Zack once before to her. "Oh. So you're Zack? I'm Repa....Reaper...but Just Repa is fine." She shrugged slightly. "You're one of Cloud's friends right? He's mentioned you before." Now the memory was pretty clear, Cloud had mentioned him before and well, I guess it was time to meet new people. From what Cloud had said, Zack was a very good guy, so hopefully, like Tifa and Cloud themselves, he didn't judge her either. Repa stuck out her gloved hand to properly greet him. "It's nice to Finally meet you."

Zack Fair
Zack felt the uncomfortable silence that he hated so much before he spoke. She seemed to study him for a moment before coming all the way down the stairs. She seemed a bit surprised that he was there. Was she just shy and not expecting anyone? He hoped his smile put her at ease, he hated that uncomfortable feeling…it just made his skin crawl. He ran a hand through his black extreme spiky hair, glancing at her before looking at the bar. She seemed to be trying to place him, maybe his name was familiar…? He had to admit, he had no idea who she was…
When she smiled his eyes twinkled, glad that she seemed a bit more relaxed. He laughed a little bit, “Yup, I’m Zack, The one and only…at least If your talking to my friends!” He said with a wink. There was probably plenty of people with the name Zack, but he was hands down the coolest one. (haha) Her name…Repa Reaper…? That was a name he hadn’t heard before, how odd. If she knew Cloud and Tifa, then he must have heard about her…maybe it had just slipped his memory? “Repa…howdy! Its great to meet you! Um…are you from around here?”
He smiled, “Yeah, Cloud’s my best friend…I’ve known him for awhile now, counting all the years I’ve been dead and we were experiments…” He shrugged it off, not really wanting to talk about it. So Cloud hand mentioned him. “Well I hope he said good things! I’d hate to have you think I was a creep or something…” He said with a laugh. He didn’t think Cloud would tell her anything that was bad, just like he only had praise for his best friend. He put his hands on his waist, wondering about her. If Cloud had let her stay with him and Tifa, then he must like her. Cloud wasn’t the most social guy out there, so he accepted Repa as a good person, or good enough to make Cloud and Tifa like her, and if they liked her, then he would have to as well. No buts about it…at least none that he could think of.
He noted her hand and reached out his own hand to shake with her. Her grip was surprisingly firm, though she didn’t look the part of someone extremely dangerous. Not that he could judge anyone there, because Tifa could kick butt, and she looked small and finely made. Most of the women he knew were small, light and yet they could kick butt, so this Repa might be strong as well. He chuckled, “So are you living here with Cloud and Tifa? Are they out at the moment?”

“Yup, I’m Zack, The one and only…at least If your talking to my friends!” “Repa…howdy! Its great to meet you! Um…are you from around here?”
Repa smiled even wider as she finally labled Zack for herself. A very very nice guy indeed, as Cloud had said. Repa was starting to like this new life she had created for herself. A home away from home, she thought of it. Of course she knew a few other people in different worlds she was friends with but here, she just starting making countless amounts of them. "Oh no, im not from around here. Just kinda got here actually." She said rubbing the back of her head with a sheepish smile. "Im from a small world a ways away...very unheard of." Repa said before Zack spoke again.
“Yeah, Cloud’s my best friend…I’ve known him for awhile now, counting all the years I’ve been dead and we were experiments…” “Well I hope he said good things! I’d hate to have you think I was a creep or something…”
Repa laughed some. Sometimes it was hard to make her laugh and this was a rare moment where a complete stranger made her laugh like they were close friends. "Yes, Cloud has said many good things, nothing about you beeing a creep or anything...and if he did, I wouldn't believe it....I know creepy...believe me." She said with a laugh at the end, even though nothing was really funny, especially the creepy part, since she did know a creep and that wasn't funny. Of course, almost all the time she got really giggly around guys, she didn't know why, but she'd always start to laugh and blush. Thankfully she wasn't blushing. Yet
“So are you living here with Cloud and Tifa? Are they out at the moment?”
Repa focused once again. "Oh, yeah im living here for awhile, Cloud offered me a place to stay, i was kinda...on the streets and on the run back towards the plaza." Repa shrugged slightly as she listened to the quietness of the building. "And as far as i know they are gone...i guess i havent paid attention all that much." Now she felt herself start to blush. "Why? Why do you do this to yourself Repa! This is insane! STOP BLUSHING." She always blushed anymore, maybe because for once, people took an interest in her and were...ya know, nice.

Zack Fair
He smiled easily and nodded at Repa, ‘a small world a ways away?’ He hadn’t heard of any other world…although that wasn’t true. As of lately he had met a bunch of people from different worlds. Noctis and his friends were from a different world, as well as Snow, Lightning, Serah and Hope. And as he thought about it, Squall was from a different world as well. He wondered how they could all go between the worlds. It hadn’t always been like that, he remembered when he was last alive, the only people around were those that came from Gaia…”You just got here? I hope you like it alright, Its not as pretty as it was at one time. Sephiroth and his remnants kinda helped to destroy parts of the world.” He shrugged his shoulders, and sighed a little bit. He regretted that Hojo had ever lived, because if he hadn’t lived, then Sephiroth would never have turned to the darkness…if he had existed at all.
When he had been in SOLDIER with Sephiroth, back when he wasn't evil, and everyone looked up to him as a hero...he had liked him. Sure he had never been outgoing and talkative, but Zack had respected him, and they had had a sort of friendship from it. And still, whenever he came upon Sephiroth, he still remembered those times, when things had been simple, before Genesis' deserting had changed everything. He felt regret that Sephiroth had gone insane as he had, because Sephiroth had been a good guy way back when...most people now wouldn't believe him if he told them that Sephiroth had been good at one time. It just went to show how quickly people forget that good things that you did.
Zack was one of those kinds that had a sort of ease around other people. He liked most people, and there were few he didn’t get a long with. Words just seemed to come easy to him. He did act like a puppy, not that he would admit that. Angeal’s exact words had been, ‘Restless, zero attention span, like a little puppy.’ He had grown out of that a bit, having been through what he had, he had to mature, if only a little bit. The only person he didn’t know what to say with was Cissnei…and she was one of his good friends. She was always so quiet; he could never read her, so the most he ever blushed was around her. Contrary to what some people believed, he didn’t flirt with every girl that came along…
“Great! I’m glad it was good things!” He smiled and cocked his head, “Well I’m happy I don’t classify as creepy to you.” She seemed like a nice girl, and she was relaxing as time went on. He failed to notice that she was giggly, or that she, after awhile, started blushing. He didn’t usually notice stuff like that, sometimes, but only when he was paying rapt attention to the person that was blushing. He grinned when she said that she was going to be living there for awhile. “that’s great! Its nice that Cloud offered to let you stay here. I’m sure you’ll like living here, even if it is only for awhile.” He cocked a brow as she said that she didn’t know if they were gone, since she hadn’t been paying attention. “well it sure seems like they’re gone. Maybe now’s the time to steal some of Tifa’s desert eh?” A mischievous smile crossed his face, and he winked as he said it.
When he had stole two cookies for himself and Cloud once, Tifa had gotten mad at him, because she was saving the cookies for something…but he and Cloud had enjoyed them, so he hadn’t regretted stealing them. “But seriously, you can steal cookies whenever you want…I’m jealous!” He laughed a bit when he said it, for he knew it sounded ridiculous.

Finally gathering her weird wacked out emotions together Repa's smile faded some, but still remained slightly as her mind wandered some. She had the tendancy to become easily distracted so she had to keep her focus quite a bit.
”You just got here? I hope you like it alright, Its not as pretty as it was at one time. Sephiroth and his remnants kinda helped to destroy parts of the world.”
Ugh, another one who knew of Sephiroth and his...remnants. Repa figured than anyone around her she would meet would know of them so this wasn't a surprise, of course, when she first met cloud she debated over a specific remnant with him, but it was all good. Repa didn't wanna start a debate, once she started she didn't finish till she won. So instead, she simply nodded for a response. Repa, still listening, walked over and sat down at a chair at the bar and turned it in Zack's direction so it didn't look like she was just walking off and being rude, because, well that would be rude.
“Great! I’m glad it was good things!” “Well I’m happy I don’t classify as creepy to you.” “that’s great! Its nice that Cloud offered to let you stay here. I’m sure you’ll like living here, even if it is only for awhile.”
Repa shrugged a little looking off to the side. "Yeah, it was very nice of him. He and Tifa were so hospitable towards me....much more than I deserve....but I really don't know how long I'm staying, it's not really a set thing. I do have some other friends to visit in other places but Midgar is starting to grow on me." She ended with a slight laugh.
“well it sure seems like they’re gone. Maybe now’s the time to steal some of Tifa’s desert eh?” “But seriously, you can steal cookies whenever you want…I’m jealous!”
Repa could help herself, she burst out laughing by now almost falling out of her chair. Tifa was in fact a great cook and her desert AHHHHHH to die for. No wonder zack would steal it. "Im sure if you asked Tifa nicely, she'd give you something. I mean, i don't have to steal anything, I just smile and ask." And thats how Repa wanted to keep it. She didn't want to prove herself to be a burden, even over silly things like food, but still, she wanted to keep her slate clean for now, and for a long time to come.

Zack Fair
Zack stood there, watching her, but also looking around. He did wonder where Tifa and Cloud were, but he didn’t worry about it. If either of them were in trouble that they couldn’t handle, they would call him, so he knew they were alright. Besides, Cloud could handle anything, he was confident of that, and Tifa…well he didn’t know a woman who could kick butt more then she could. So they were either working or maybe doing something together. Cloud had been way closer and sweeter with Tifa lately, Zack liked to see it. Those two belonged with each other, he had known that since the day he and Cloud had talked at the Inn in Nibelheim.
He did notice the odd look on her face when she mentioned Sephiroth and his Remnants…he wondered a bit about that, but decided not to say anything about it. He was a bit surprised that she would even know who Sephiroth and his remnants were, but since she was living with Cloud and Tifa, maybe she had just already heard about everything they had done. Her not saying anything about them made him wonder as well though. She walked away toward the bar, and he did the same, except that he went behind the bar for a sec. He was really super thirsty, and he knew they didn’t mind him drinking or whatever he wanted. So he grabbed a glass and poured water into it from sink. He looked up, she probably had been told that she could help herself, but he wasn’t sure. “hey, want something to drink?”
He nodded, “yeah, they’re great people…the best…” He smiled a bit, looking around the room, and sighed in content. When he had come back from the lifestream, Cloud and Tifa had offered him everything. Even though he technically didn’t have any family left, Cloud and Tifa were like his family. He grinned and looked out the window, the sun was just starting its decent out of the sky. “Yeah, Midgar is nice, wait till you see Gongaga though!” He had to wink at her, for Gongaga was his old hometown. He chuckled, “Country towns are always the best…although Midgar is a pretty nice city, lots to do that’s for sure!”
When Repa started laughing Zack did as well, it felt good to relax, to just not have to worry about stuff that went wrong. He chuckled again when she mentioned all he would have to do is ask. “Meh, when I ask she just shakes her head and tells me they are for somebody else. She’s always cooking for somebody when she isn’t tending the bar or kicking somebody’s butt.” He chuckled, “But maybe I’ll try that sometime…” He smiled at her, wondering if she had been able to get out and see the town at all. “hey, did you get to do anything fun in Midgar yet?” There was plenty to do, the various plays you could attend, you could go Chocobo riding, the beach. He wasn’t flirting in the least, he was just that friendly. He loved people, and this Repa seemed like a nice girl, besides…the only girl he liked was red headed...but the only person he had actually told about Cissnei was Cloud and Tifa. He hadn’t even noticed that his mind had wandered and a strange, little half smile was on his face as his eyes gazed off into nothing.

Repa sat swinging her legs in her chair, she was trying to remember all the people she had met since leaving her home, even if she didn't like them. There was quite a list, some were good, some were...not so good, but she was making friends very rapidly. She herself noticed the difference in her attitude lately, and she figured this was because of it.
“hey, want something to drink?” “yeah, they’re great people…the best…”
"No thanks, Im good." She said nodding slightly. "The best seems to be a bit of an understatement..." Repa shrugged, and thats what she thought too. No one had been nicer. Cloud and Tifa were much better than the best, there weren't even words to describe past 'the best'.
“Yeah, Midgar is nice, wait till you see Gongaga though!” “Country towns are always the best…although Midgar is a pretty nice city, lots to do that’s for sure!” “Meh, when I ask she just shakes her head and tells me they are for somebody else. She’s always cooking for somebody when she isn’t tending the bar or kicking somebody’s butt.” “But maybe I’ll try that sometime…” “hey, did you get to do anything fun in Midgar yet?”
Gongaga...? That was a town Repa hadn't heart before, but of course she only had been around Midgar really so no one could blame her for not knowing. "I haven't gotten to do much yet really. Im still....settling in I guess." She said as a smile appeared on her face as she thought back to her first few days in Midgar and Edge. Before even coming to Midgar she'd met one of the Remnants Zack had mentioned earlier. And since then, she'd been a walking target for about anything. Then there was the return of Geoff Cross, an obsessed creeper who wanted to kill her in a very brutal yet passionate way, but all was good thanks to Cloud and Yazoo. So she was still alive, almost a record for her. "Although some crazy things have happened while i've been here...but fun is hardly the right word to describe it."
Her smile faded some. "So...Zack. You're Cloud's best friend and all, how long have you two known eachother though?" Repa was curious. Cloud never really talked openly about his past, at least not yet, and well people asked her about her past every now and then so she figured it was her turn to ask the questions. Make some conversation for once.

Zack Fair
He nodded, before taking a drink of his water. Walking back by the chairs, he sat down, removed his buster sword from off his back and set it down on the floor, leaning it against the bar. He didn’t like sitting with it on his back, so he usually took it off when he was going to sit somewhere. He stretched a bit, yawning before shaking his head. He was and ex SOLDIER, so not much fazed him, but he was tired at the moment. He hadn’t slept all that much in the past few days, been running around, trying to find a place that was good enough to open his weapons shop in. When he got excited about something, it was hard for him to focus on other things, so he had spent all his time looking for a building. It had all paid off though, because he had finally found a place that seemed great for what he wanted. He had been running running running, now he just needed a break for a few hours. Maybe he could convince Cloud and Tifa that they all needed to have some time to go do something fun!
He smiled and nodded, “Yeah your right, an understatement…they’re…hmm…amazing...” He ran a hand through his hair again. He knew that, had always knew Cloud was the best. His best friend, Zack loved Cloud like his brother, even before, when his colder exterior had turned some people away. He smiled, thinking of the past, when they had been friends before. They had endured blood, sweat and tears together…well not so much the tears…but still, they had been together quite a bit before. Genesis had always wondered why he had taken such an interest in just a ShinRa infantryman, but Cloud was…well, now Cloud could defeat Sephiroth, that was something huge.
“Oh yeah, I spose you would need to settle in…I kind forgot about that part.” He was so used to having lived in almost every part of Gaia, on missions. He wasn’t used to getting used to a different world. He glanced around, wishing that things could be this peaceful more often. With Sephiroth, his remnants, and now Genesis back, or so he had heard, there had been almost no peaceful times. He took another sip of his water and glanced at the clock. 6:35…I wonder where they are… “Crazy things? No one bothered you did they?” Zack had always worried more about women then men. Men he didn’t look out for so much, but his parents had taught him to take care of women, so he hated anyone bothering them. Most of the women he knew could take care of themselves, but it didn’t hurt to look out for them as well.
He smiled and cocked his head, looking out the window when she asked about how long he had known Cloud. His best friend, he had known him since he had just been promoted to 1st class SOLDIER. He looked back at Repa. “Your going to think my answer is odd….just to warn you in advance.” He looked at the buster sword, before smiling, “Where do I start…I met Cloud for the first time 10 years ago, he was 15, I was 17, and a 1st class SOLDIER working for ShinRa.” He chuckled a bit, “We became best friends quickly, but we didn’t get to hang out all that much with how much I was so busy with my job and all the missions ShinRa sent me on. Cloud was an Infantryman, so he was busy on missions as well. After Sephiroth turned against ShinRa and fell into the darkness, I battled him, and lost. Cloud cut him with my sword, but Sephiroth impaled him as well. Cloud managed to throw Sephiroth into the lifestream though, so he was gone for years. Because we were both unconscious…Hojo, the head scientist of ShinRa, used us as experiments for 4 years. When I woke up, I got us both out of there, but Cloud had a severe case of Mako addiction, or Mako Poisoning, whatever you prefer to call it. After that, I spent about a year dragging Cloud along and dodging the ShinRa army, Turks, and SOLDIER, because they were tracking us both down to kill us….”
He was so deep in thinking, he related all of this to Repa, without even looking at her. He sighed a bit and glanced down at the ground. “Eventually, I knew we couldn’t run forever, so I hid Cloud and went out to face the Army by myself. The ShinRa army was huge…in fact, it had grown in the 4 years we were experiments. So I fought them, and beat them all except for three guys and a helicopter…but by that time I was weak, as I had been through a huge amount in those 5 years. They shot me up, and I…well died…” He stood up and stood looking out the window, arms crossed, blue eyes intense. “so now Cloud is older then me…which is funny…” He chuckled a bit, before taking in a deep breath and turning back around. “I told you it was odd…so I was dead for about 4 years, and earlier this year, I was brought back, be the lifestream, don’t ask me how or why, because I have no idea…” He shrugged a bit before walking back and looking at the mirror that hung on the opposite side of the bar. “We have quite the history…that’s a shortened version…but Cloud is and always will be my best friend…”

"Um...I'm quite used to getting...bothered by people, but bothered is much of a very low setting for what happened. But Im alive! and thats all that matters." Repa grinned. Of course all these bothersome people didn't really have any pernament effect on her. More of a ruin your day kinda thing, they weren't around all the time stalking you waiting for you to die or anything. So she shrugged it off and went on.
Repa was never really great at small talk, making conversations etc. She never really had any idea on what to say, its not like she can pop out a random question and NOT get a weird look. That was her only way of talking really, let the subjects come to her, but she had asked a good legit question which indeed did spark a conversation...or a story for her to listen to. Zack sure was right, it DID sound odd. Repa followed this story quite well actually, she didn't get confused, but again, it was just odd. She'd never heard a more...odd story in her life. Not that her life story was that smooth and normal either.
Listening very carefully, Repa nodded on occasion to prove she wasn't lost or staring off into space, she really was listening, and this story facsinated her. Who was ShinRa though? What had happened to Cloud and Zack? Who was Hojo? So many questions she wanted to ask but she didn't. She knew not everyone liked revealing their past, she didnt, so why force it upon other people. "Wow. That is an odd story...but...wow, that's all I gotta say. No wonder you and Cloud are like brothers..." She said slumping in her chair. "Do you have any family here in Midgar? Or..." She didn't finish....of course more questions, but she was just curious.

Zack Fair
Zack nodded slowly, “Ok, well if your in trouble, you should call me! I hate women especially getting bothered…so if you need help just ask me to help!” He smiled in a friendly way, crossing his arms and sitting back down. He laughed, “I spose to do that, you need my number huh?” He winked at her, before writing his number on a piece of paper on the bar, “Here ya go!”
He cracked his neck, his mako blue eyes looking at Repa. After he had told her his story, he paused a bit, “Hey, sorry if it was way to long…I didn’t mean to go on like that.” Included with his apology was a somewhat sheepish look. He had been able to tell that she was listening through his Story, and seemed interested, but often confused. He didn’t blame her. He had tried to shorten it up, so he hadn’t really explained things well. She must be wondering who all these names were. But she didn’t ask any questions, so maybe she hadn’t been all that interested after all. He shrugged, he didn’t really care who knew his history. If you asked him a question, whether it was embarrassing or not, Zack would probably tell you.
He grinned, “Yeah…we…erm…haven’t quite lived a normal life. But then again…neither of us are normal so I guess that fits hmm?” He shook his head, thinking about all the stuff they had gone through. SOLDIER’s weren’t exactly normal to begin with. When you joined ShinRa as a SOLDIER, you got Mako pumped into you to make yourself…well…stronger then the average person. Although you had to be stronger then the average person to begin with to join SOLDIER. He was what they called an enhanced human, not a monster, as some had tried to make him believe. As he had figured out, SOLDIER, doesn’t mean monster. He was lost in his own little reminiscing world.
And then she asked a question…and he changed a bit. He wished he still had family…but they were all dead. He hadn’t had any siblings, and his parents had died when Gongaga had been destroyed by ShinRa. Though it had been rebuild, many of its citizens had died, including his parents. He remembered them, his pretty, upbeat mom and his ever smiling dad. They had been really good to him…he regretted not visiting them more when he was in SOLDIER. He didn’t have a chance to see them now. He looked up realizing that he had hesitated for a long time after Repa had asked her question. He blinked a few times and his shoulders slumped. “No…my family lives…er lived in Gongaga, but…they aren’t alive anymore. ShinRa kinda took care of that.” He had a sad look on his face, it hurt to think of his parents, but he wasn’t mad that Repa had asked him about it. A weird silence filled the room for a bit, so he tried to snap out of it, “So, what about your world? Do you have any family?”

When Zack said she could call him if she were in trouble, Repa smiled. She was liking this world more and more with each day she had spent there. "Well thanks. I'll be sure to do that..." She said taking the piece of paper with his number on it. She folded the paper and just held onto it. "I am quite the danger magnet though..." Repa added with a slight laugh. "I've probably been targeted 10 times or more in the past few weeks." She sounded awfully proud about that, but truthfully, it wasn't anything new to her, she was so prone to accidents and what not. Of course the thing that usually got her in trouble was her smart mouth and attitude, when she started talking off people with that attitude of hers, it just didn't stop until someone smacked her around, which usually was the scenerio.
Finally then the word Normal came into play. Repa just shook her head slightly. "I don't think anyone i've met would be classified as...normal...not even myself." She added before her smile faded completely and she felt awful. Zack had stated that he no longer had family, and her heart sank. That was an awful question to ask, at least she thought so. Now she felt bad, but the subject of her family came up now. Probably to kinda change the subject.
Repa simply folded her arms across the bar and sighed. "Back home I've got my Father and one of my brothers...I lost my mom when I was born, I don't remember her, and I lost my brother about...4 years back." That last one really stung. Her brother was like her best friend, at least this one was. "He was my older brother- he would have been 27 this year...he died saving me from a mob of these heartless things that were taking over our world." Repa was so caught in her thoughts as she stared across the bar she didn't even notice her eyes water. "But, I guess what was a little too much detail. My father and brother...thats all the family I got....i should be more thankful for what i have." She grumbled a little.

He nodded, she was nice, he liked Repa. He shrugged, “I Should answer my phone! Its usually on me, although sometimes I can’t really answer…comes from being in the fighting business.” He raised his eyebrows when she mentioned how much she attracted danger. “I’ll say, you do seem to attract danger…what happened that you were targeted so much?” Realizing that it was pretty personal, and not everyone wanted to speak about their past like he did, shrugged, “You don’t have to tell me, I respect that it’s personal.”
He gave her a smile, he seemed to attract danger as well. When he had been alive last it didn’t seem he could go through an entire town without getting attacked once by monsters and Genesis copies. And even now, that damn Sephiroth and his remnants were making their life pretty much always battling something. Yazoo seemed to think he had to target himself, although Yazoo didn’t know that Zack had many more powers now then the last time he was alive. He yawned, he hadn’t seen Yazoo in awhile though.
Zack nodded, “yeah, normal…well I haven’t met all that many normal people, but I always thought it was because I was in SOLDIER and I was surrounded by enhanced super humans or mad scientists…” he chuckled a bit, “And mad they were…you haven’t met a crazy scientist until you’ve met Hojo!” Speaking of Hojo…he was still alive somewhere. Zack wanted to hunt him up to just look at him and smack him up a bit. Normally Zack wasn’t one to get revenge, but in this case, he would love to get his hands on Hojo and just make him pay for every life he had ever ruined, which was a lot.
Her face changed and she looked like she felt terrible for asking such a simple question. And as she looked sad for asking, he was sad she felt bad. He knew she hadn’t meant to bring up anything painful. Though he was still sad that they had died and regretted a few things, there was no denying that. He wanted to make sure she knew she didn’t have to feel so bad. “Hey! Repa? Don’t feel bad about it alrigh? Its ok, I should talk about it, since I haven’t really…”
And so she told him about her family, and now he felt bad as well. He sighed a bit, “Um…Sorry for bringing it up, its painful…I can understand that.” He shrugged when she grumbled about being more thankful. “Its hard to think about what we have when all we can think about is what we have lost.” He wondered where that had come from. He didn’t think he was exactly good at talking about these kind of things, although he could make Cloud feel better at least.

"Well, then. Next time im in danger I'll give ya a ring, maybe I can keep my record of how many evaded deaths i've had going." Repa laughed at her own sarcastic town, but it was all in good humor. Repa nodded a bit as she totally was attracted to danger, it never really bothered her. It did keep her from getting bored all the time but the part where she was targeted for death she could totally live without. "I've just...how do I phrase this..." She wondered, what was she supposed to say to him? That, she was with one of those fearful remnants and that since then she'd been just plain beaten down? Oh she was afraid when she told Cloud seeing as he had fought them once and stuff, but he didn't seem upset or anything, just...worried a bit about Repa's safety. "I guess you could say I've started hanging with the...wrong crowd....sorta." She shrugged, wow that wouldn't make any sense probably so she figured, hey nothing could be worse than all the things she had been through these past few weeks. "Please don't judge me on this next part...and don't laugh." She said before locking her hands together and taking in a breath. Yay for akward confessions. Not.
"I'm kinda...an item with...one of Sephiroth's remnants." She looked off to the side for a split second before cutting back in to her sentence to add on. "So one can imagine all the trouble I've gotten myself into." She laughed nervously. How would Zack take that? Repa didn't exactly know everyone's perspective on one another so, I guess it didn't matter what he thought. As long as Repa was happy, that was good. Right?
"Normal." Repa smirked as she repeated the word. "I'm beginning to think normal is so overrated. Hardly anyone is 'normal' anymore." She said quoting even with the little air quotes she made with her hands. "I personally like being different, it makes me unique. I mean. Who wants to be EXACTLY the same as someone else? I just don't see why now and days everyone wants to be perfect ect. There is no clear definition of perfect, so I go for the not normal." She grinned, she may have a gift that separated her from the rest of society, but she was different and thats how she wanted to keep it. She liked her little gift, at times, because it distiguished something completely different about herself that no one else had.
Repa felt her eyes sink to the wood of the bar. She still felt kinda bad, but nothing could really change it. Of course thinking back on her lost ones didn't help at all, but she would get over it once again. "I guess talking about some things can make you feel better, instead of keeping it bottled up inside. I swear if I didn't talk half as much as I do, which im sorry, I have a tendency to babble, I would probably explode." Repa's smile returned as she lifted her eyes again, she was so good at hiding away her emotions, or at least masking them with fake emotions. "Anyways, I think its time for a better and happier subject. I dont know what that may be but, still."
