“Oh darn it all!!”
Selphie stood there, where she last knew Irvine and Zell were on their latest mission. Galbadia. It was the city that was by the Galbadia Garden, where Irvine had grown up. She crossed her arm and stomped her foot. Her green eyes flicked around her, determined, yet lost. She had hit a dead end, looking for her fellow SeeD companions and personal best friends…and well, something more with Irvine. She hadn’t been able to go with them on their last mission, even though she had really wanted to. Squall had told her that she was to stay at Garden, and that it was only a two person job. Squall should have known not to send Irvine and Zell by themselves! Great at fighting, and smart in their own ways, they both would charge into something without really thinking about it.
She had talked to them two days before, and Irvine had informed her that they would be back to Garden later then they thought, for their mission was going crazy. She looked at the people that walked by, going on with their lives, and yet here she was…
She hadn’t been here in awhile, and it looked different…probably because everyone was happy to have Ultimecia destroyed. 5.1 and quite small, most people that looked at Selphie wouldn’t think she could defend herself against a robber, let alone be a member of SeeD. She put her hands on her hips, chewing her lip, wondering where to go from here. No one knew where Irvine or Zell were, and they didn’t answer their phone, or call her back. She knew that you couldn’t always find time, but if they could they would call her…it scared her that they didn’t. Squall was going through something with Ultimecia, so she had come alone. He was better, but still worried, and besides, he had to deal with Garden, he couldn’t just leave! So here she was by herself, looking for two of her best friends.
She had made it this far, tracking him, and now she had hit a dead end. What was she going to do?! Where to go…where to go…where WAS she going to go? Feeling to make sure her Nunchaku was still there, a deep sigh escaped her lips. It wasn’t could she, she must find them! If she could collect her thoughts maybe…she was so deep in thought that her normally observant green eyes failed to see anything around her…

"I better stop by home and get my things before it gets dark."
Repa walked out of Seventh Heaven slowly as she clicked away at the buttons on her highly advanced phone. Delatorr, Repa's home world, was very high in technology. Anyways, she decided to grab some things, like some more clothes and other items she needed to stay with Cloud and Tifa. She stopped at the curb of the street and punched in her destination, a blue light appeared infront of her, a portal to her home world. But then she was knocked forward, pressing some pretty random buttons in her teleporter phone and she fell into the portal, leading to anywhere but her home world.
The portal opened about 20 feet of the ground and Repa, already falling from being pushed into her portal fell face first to the ground with a yell before a moment of pausing. The fall knocked the wind out of her deeply. "This is why....I don't like flying." She groaned as she sat up some wiping the dirt of her face and looking around. "This....is definately not Delatorr." She muttered to herself before fixing her eyes on a girl. "Maybe she can tell me where I'm at." Repa then got up and brushed her already torn jeans off and walked over to the girl, selphie to be exact. Repa hesitated before tapping Selphie on the shoulder. "Excuse me...but...could you please tell me where I am?"

The fiery little brunette crossed her arms and wrinkled her nose. She wished she had been on the mission with those two. She hated this tracking them down stuff, she would rather be in the heat of the situation then on the outside worrying. Her short little yellow sundress was what she was wearing…no need to tell everyone she was SeeD, especially when she was trying to find Irvine and Zell. Irvine hadn’t been a member of SeeD, but he had passed his SeeD exam recently, so it was his first mission where he was actually a member of SeeD, instead of just training. This was all old stuff to her, well…she’d been a member of SeeD for a few years now, so she was used to the missions and such.
She faintly heard a yell and a muffled thud, but didn’t really turn around. She hadn’t exactly heard it clearly, so deep in thought she was. After a minute she felt a tap on her shoulder. She turned around quickly to see a girl about her same age standing there. Looking closer though, she looked a few years older then Selphie’s 18. she looked at the girl, whose clothes were torn and her hands and jeans were slightly dirty.
When she asked where she was, Selphie just gave her another puzzled look. Who wouldn’t know where they were? This was Galbadia…a major city in their planet. Forgetting what was on her mind for a few seconds, she shook her head in amazement and smiled a little bit. “You’re in Galbadia!” She cocked her head and her green eyes twinkled, “Are you alright?” She asked, a little bit concerned.
The only way you couldn’t know where you were is if you had amnesia or you weren’t from their world…and that to her meant Ultimecia, the time traveling witch. Though that name made her weary, she cut the girl some slack and didn’t barge her with questions. She grinned, “My name is Selphie, what’s yours?” Probably not the wisest choice to be handing out her name, but she didn’t care. She could defend herself against almost anything…so she wasn’t concerned about this girl knowing who she was. Though the girl wasn’t super tall, she still looked taller then her own 5.1. Oh the disadvantages of being short…

Repa noticed the puzzled look on Selphie's face, not that it surprised her at all. Most people didn't know of other worlds or where people came from unless they lived there. Repa was from another world and her just popping in could seem weird to someone else.
“You’re in Galbadia!”
Oh now Repa knew she was lost. She had heard the name somewhere before, but nothing came to mind, probably her father talking about other worlds and such. Repa learned so much from listening in on her father's military meetings and what not, so many worlds out there. It was amazing. This was in fact the 5th new world she had fallen into...not literally though, well, maybe for this world it was true. "Galbadia eh?" Repa said looking around a bit before looking back at selphie.
“Are you alright?” “My name is Selphie, what’s yours?”
Repa gave a small smile. Oh how wonderful, this girl seemed so incredibly sweet, obviously on the light side unlike the very few people she had met on the dark side. "Im fine thanks, and My name is Repa. It's very nice to meet you Selphie." Repa said truely happy. "I gotta admit, I've never been to this world before...it looks very...well together. Much nicer than some places ive been." Repa huffed a breath and put her hands on her waist. "Does this place have any line of royalty? Just wondering." She shrugged looking around still, gathering every little detail she could just to remember the place she was at.

Selphie saw the blank look cross this girl’s face when she mentioned that they were in Galbadia. Obviously this girl wasn’t from their world, if she didn’t know of Galbadia…she was pretty lost in her world. Selphie was used to odd things however, probably more then her share of them, so she wasn’t too concerned about this girl not being from her world. She was however, curious. She nodded, “Yup, Galbadia…well were in Galbadia, but the town is actually named Timber.” She giggled a little bit, this was probably just confusing this girl more.
This girl smiled back at her, the first smile so far, so Selphie was glad for that. She didn’t like It when people were so serious they couldn’t smile. Squall was getting better at it, so she was happy about that. She could get almost anybody to smile. Timber had gained independence from the Galbadian government, but they were still in Galbadia territory. After Sorceress Ultimecia had been destroyed, most people had been happy and relieved. “Repa…its nice to meet you!” She cocked her head and crossed her arms, “So You really are from a different world…” she looked around, “Yeah Timber is nice now, a few years ago though…well the entire planet was in somewhat of chaos.”
She hated to think that Ultimecia might come back one day. Everyone was so happy to have her be gone, but she had been bugging Squall and Rinoa again. That’s all that Squall needed….that stupid Sorceress trying to play with his mind. Plus, if she had one guess, she would guess that was the reason Irvine and Zell were missing! She looked at Repa, royalty? “Well, not what you would call Royalty, there’s the president, Laguna. And there have been Sorceresses over the years, but no, there isn’t any Royalty.” She looked at Repa with a weird look. “Were you sent here to talk to our ‘royalty’?”

Repa kept her eyes wandering somewhat. Selphie seemed like the very happy go lucky type, very nice and polite and always happy. Not exactly the person Repa would choose to hang out with but much much more tolerable than most of the people she had ran into by now. Maybe coming here by accident, was a good thing, although she really did need to grab some stuff from her home world. Oh well, a slight detour didn't hurt anyone.
“Yup, Galbadia…well were in Galbadia, but the town is actually named Timber.” “Repa…its nice to meet you!” “So You really are from a different world…” “Yeah Timber is nice now, a few years ago though…well the entire planet was in somewhat of chaos.”
And Repa was in fact confused. She was trying to wrap her mind around all this, but with these past couple weeks getting so much information thrown at her it was hard. She needed a notebook for all this stuff, just to keep it all down so she could referr to it again later and not feel so forgetful. So being confused she let out a small laugh. "Chaos....believe me, I know how that is...My world is undergoing that stage right about now." She shrugged now keeping her eyes fixed on the ground. "Hopefully we get out of our chaos soon...its getting quite out of hand."
“Well, not what you would call Royalty, there’s the president, Laguna. And there have been Sorceresses over the years, but no, there isn’t any Royalty.” “Were you sent here to talk to our ‘royalty’?”
Repa then rubbed the back of her head with a sheepish smile. "I wasn't sent here by any means, I kinda just....dropped in." She said not even laughing at her own lame joke. "I was just wondering, I thought I might have heard of some sort of high powered person here but, Nope, guess not...of course that doesn't surprise me anymore. I feel completely useless, I know nothing of anywhere I go." Repa finally sighed a bit before pondering to ask a question, might as well, not like it was anything oober important. "Have you ever heard of the world called Delatorr?"

Selphie remembered about why she was here in the first place when the word chaos escaped her lips. She sobered up a bit, glancing around, loosing a tad of her boundless energy. Her intelligent mind was still thinking about how she was going to find her two friends. She hadn’t ever failed a mission she had been part of, so she tried to view this as a mission…but it wasn’t…this was personal. Usually her missions centered around people she didn’t know, it was a job, but this was very unnerving. If she failed…she might not ever see them again!
She cocked her head when Repa spoke once more. “Oh? Your world is not doing good right now? Whats the matter with it? Is it going to get better?” She was oblivious to the fact that it had probably been rude to barge her with questions. Her big green eyes gazed at Repa, her soft heart was the reason she was in fact asking these questions. She was genuinely concerned about this Repa’s world, because Selphie noticed the look that Repa had on her face when she talked about her world, she looked sad…
Selphie cocked her head, “You dropped in? how can you get here if your not from my world?” Selphie’s curiosity would some day get the better of her, but it hadn’t so far. She was always finding new technology to play with, often messing with the computers at Garden and setting up websites. If she wasn’t out with her friends, on a mission, or training, she was doing something with technology. She tried to think, high powered people…she didn’t mean SeeD did she?! “Well, like I mentioned, there are sorceresses, which have a very high powers, although at the moment, there isn’t a sorceress trying to rule…” But even as she said it, Ultimecia came into her mind. The sorceress was still trying to haunt Squall and Rinoa, causing them so much worry. And Rinoa was technically a sorceress, although Selphie never thought of her that way…thinking of the SeeD members, she would label them high powered people too. Squall, Zell…they were very powerful.
Selphie smiled again, “That would be hard! I’m sure you run into some nice people though right?” When Repa mentioned a name, after contemplating a bit, she shook her head. “I haven’t heard of that…is it a…planet? Your world?” She clasped her hands together behind her, her shoulder length brown hair fluttered in the wind. She had let it grow out more, and she liked it more then her shorter hair. Although she had to admit, sometimes it got in the way in battle.

Repa put her hands in her back pockets and leaned back on her heals as she shrugged her shoulders a bit. "It's become infested with these little pests called the heartless or whatever they are." She smiled slightly still. "It's no big deal, as far as I know it's being taken care of as we speak....hopefully." She muttered at the end before she kinda spaced out. She got her mind locked on home, her family, everything. She wondered how badly damaged the city was. She knew the palace wouldn't be touched but still her world's citizens mattered quite a bit to her, she hoped things were better than she left it to be.
Finally coming back to reality...
"Oh! I was just talking about like a king or queen or whatever. It's not important, I was just curious." Repa then shifted her weight again, she couldn't really stay still for very long in a new place. "I've met some pretty decent people here and there it's actually quite refreshing meeting new people from different places. Everyone's so different." She smiled wide now. "If the people here are as nice as you, this must be a perfect world then." She laughed a bit before locking her mind back on her home world again.
"I'm not surprised you haven't heard of it before. It's fairly small and we don't really interact with other worlds all that much. But its-...or it was very pretty at one time. At least the palace where our Royal family lives-" She wasn NOT going to bring up her rank in the social status. Not now, not here. It was not time to go around flaunting her princessyness in everyone's face. Shoot, she never acted like a normal princess anyway. All she wanted to be was normal anymore. "-That place is really pretty, especially during the spring and summer...lots of flowers ya know? You should see it sometime." That got her back onto a question Selphie had asked awhile ago about how Repa even got there.
Repa pulled out her phone from her pocket, not a scratch on it even from her fall. "My world has an extremely advanced technical facility. We specialize in very many more advanced things...like my phone. It can open a portal for me to any world I want." She grinned wide.

Selphie’s green eyes opened wider as Repa explained what the matter with her world was. “Oh my gosh, you have Heartless in your world as well?” she had thought it was simply in her world that those creatures were creating chaos. She had also thought Ultimecia might be behind it, but if Repa’s unknown to her planet was experiencing the same thing… “Well I hope it is, you see, heartless are here as well, but SeeD members are taking care of them.” She looked at her, wondering if Repa knew anything about SeeD. Probably not, “There are so many of them though…which might be because this planet is very large. It would probably be easier to get rid of them on a small planet.” She herself had been on missions that Squall had sent her on to fight heartless.
Though they did fight because people were in danger, most of the time SeeD were paid to fight by those that employed them. That was what kept Garden running, the money they were paid for missions that they went on for people. This wasn’t their primary goal though in Garden. They did missions to support Garden, but their primary goal was to defeat any Sorceresses that threatened the world, such as Ultimecia had, and Matron, when her body had been taken over by Ultimecia. So Selphie had had her fair share of fighting, as she was one of the most valuable members of SeeD. She had graduated along with Squall and Zell, only four had graduated out of the entire class of over 50 of her class. Squall had wanted her to be an instructor, and though she did fill in when it was needed, she had refused. She would rather be free to go on missions and not have to deal with the students as a teacher. Quistis was a teacher, but Selphie had never wanted to be.
Selphie registered on the fact that Repa was talking again, and so she smiled at her. “Yeah, I like meeting new people! Its fun, although when it comes right down to it, I’d rather just talk to my good friends. I’m sure you feel the same though.” She giggled a bit and blushed when Repa said the second thing. “Oh your to nice, I’m sure I’m more irritating then nice…” But she laughed when Repa did. Selphie was Selphie, most loved her for that. Selphie sighed, “It sounds pretty I’d love to see it sometime!” She did truly wish to see it. Though she did love the places in her planet, she did like to go new places. “I love new places! Maybe you can show me someday.” A big grin was on her lips, her green eyes sparkled at the idea of seeing someplace new.
Her eyes went big when Repa pulled out a phone. She of course had a cell phone, but nothing like this one. She clasped her hands together and bounced up and down. “Oh my goodness!!” She squealed out. Selphie loved technology; she was a sucker for it actually. She looked at the phone, her eyes sparkled. “You can visit any world with it?!” It was like the phone of her dreams, now she defiantly wanted to visit her world. “Oh man, I love technology! My world is advanced, but not this advanced…in the future it will be though!” She was speaking of knowing that the future was going to be full of gadgets. When they had all gone to the lunar base, she had gotten to speak to the scientists, and they had been working on some great inventions.

Were the Heartless ALL over the place now and days? Maybe it was a bigger problem than Repa had come to think about. More and more worlds were being taken over by darkness, but thankfully there were those who were on the resistance side of things, and fought against the darkness to try and save their homes and families. Repa nodded some. "The heartless' suck." She simply stated. "Practically booted me out of my own home...indirectly though I suppose." That was true though, once the heartless invaded people were so complacent with thinking it would be easy to get rid of, like Selphie had said, you'd think it would be easy for such a small planet but truthfully, it was down right hard. They seemed to over flow at times! And soon, after a few years the heartless got out of control and just wiped out quite a bit of Delatorr, sending Repa packing for safety by her father, king of that world.
Of course, Repa didn't want to think of her failure to protect her home world from the darkness of the heartless, so she tuned that out pretty easily. "I'm sure I could take you there sometime. I mean around the palace that is. Don't wanna really get mauled by a bunch of heartless." She said before pocketing her phone. "And, if we ever do visit, im quite sure...if you REALLY want one, I can snagg you a cool new phone, that way you can go where you want, when you want." Repa felt like she should be on some infomercial, selling off products which made her laugh. "But, that's all if we do visit."
The thing about Repa going home was she had a few worries, 1. She didn't wanna get booted out again due to the misfortunes happening there at this moment. 2. Her father would probably bust a vein in his forehead if she disobeyed him- not that this would be the first time. and 3. Last time she visited, everyone blubbered over her return as if she came back from the dead, and she didn't really like all the attention that much. But if Selphie wanted to go, she wouldn't say no to her. She'd just go...incognito.

Nodding, she agreed silently with Repa about how Heartless suck. “Yeah tell me about it, it seems like everyone is petrified of them. But I guess it is nice to figure out that it isn’t just In my world! Squall and the rest of SeeD thought it might be Ultimecia…a sorceress.” She cocked her head, “They….booted you out? Couldn’t you fight them?” she thought to herself a bit, about her life and the heartless. They were making everything difficult
Selphie giggled, “I would love to go so much, but don’t worry about the heartless. I’m tough, and besides, I’m so used to fighting heartless here, I’m sure heartless from another world wouldn’t be any harder to defeat.” Her eyes got larger when Repa spoke of a phone for her. She squealed and bounced up and down, her excitement, as always, wasn’t contained. “Oh really?? You could get me a phone like yours?” Selphie, as always, was excited and in the moment, forgetting about a lot of stuff. She thought about suddenly if she even could leave. She had a lot on her plate…but it wouldn’t take long to go…right?
She was torn. Although she really wanted to go, she also new she should probably stay. She glanced around, she had been stumped anyway, at the end of her leads, not knowing where to go from where she had been. Maybe a little trip would get my mind focused again... She didn't know where to go from Galbadia anyway, she couldn't do anything until she thought about it more, so it wouldn't hurt to take a look...She noticed that Repa seemed to be thinking, but Selpie was too excited. “Could we…go?” She clasped her hands behind her back and shuffled her foot back and forth. “That is, if its alright with you! I’d love to go to a different world, but if its too much to ask…I understand!”

Repa rubbed the back of her head with a sheepish smile. "No one would let me fight...or help in any way for that matter." She said with a nervous laugh as she twirled her fingers through her thick black hair she shuffled her real story around into a less...boring and less detailed one. "My family just didn't want me to get hurt, so yes...technically I was booted out." Which was really true, no lie. Most of the people around Delatorr were very happy and caring people, no one liked to see anyone hurt. In fact, Delatorr had taken a turn for the better once Repa's father took over, until the heartless were some how leaked into the world and just practically destroyed her family's honor and dignity.
Repa totally agreed with Selphie, she could take care of herself. Thats how repa thought of herself as well. She was a tough girl and if anything got in her way, no matter how big or strong that thing might be, she could easily get herself out of it, or even defeat whatever it was. A smile ripped across Repa's face, and not a common one, one filled with...happiness, and a sign of friendship. Not many people saw this side of her. "Sure Selphie, I can get ya one easy. They're really quite entertaining, and for a technology lover this is like...gods work in the form of a phone." Repa giggled some as Selphie's enthusiasm for visiting her home world started to show.
"We can go...a short visit wouldn't hurt anything. I'll show you parts of the town that havent been effected by heartless and maybe I can get you a....grand tour of the royal palace." That would be soooooo easy. But again she would go incognito mostly, until getting to the palace, if they went there, thats where Repa would get Selphie a phone and well no one really cared if she came back for a least a short visit. Repa pulled her hood over her head and put dark sunglasses over her eyes. "Don't ask...I just really don't want people to...recognize me all that much."
