Wutai. Her home, yet she didn’t want to go back there at the moment. Sure, she loved it with all her heart, but she felt as if her friend’s needed her more than her people did. After all, she had to find a way to get more Materia. They had somet, that was true, but she knew they needed more, and that’s all she was worried about. Well, for the most part. There were other things traveling around in the reletively young ninja’s mind. Mostly, her friend’s. She hadn’t seen then in a while, mostly because she had departed in order to search for more Materia as well as get some other things.
Nibelheim. It had been a while since she had been here last, and she wondered whether Tifa would still be in 7th Heaven running the bar, and, if she would finally give her a drink. Maybe Cloud was there, and, when he started paying attention to Tifa, she could steal his drink and run off, but, oh. She’d probably get caught doing that. Cloud wasn’t that easy to fool twice. Yuffie sighed and ran her hand over her forehead. Maybe she’d just go around and find the two of them, and, with them, possibly Vincent.
Yuffie wondered if they knew. If they knew about how all the villans, such as Sephiroth, had come back, more powerful than ever. She felt her teeth grit together. She hated Sephiroth almost as much as she hated the Turks and ShinRa for all they had done to her and to her home. After all, it was all their fault that her home was not her home anymore, and she wanted vengence for that. The Great Ninja Yuffie would not let them win!
But there was nothing she could do alone, and so she knew she couldn’t. But, then again, she couldn’t ask her friend’s to fight her battle for her, or even with her, and she knew it was something she would have to do on her own. Even if she didn’t like it, it was just something she’d have to accept. Sighing loudly and in a very un-Yuffie like way, she forced herself to walk in the direction of 7th Heaven. Even if she was too prideful to ask her friend’s for help, she was going to make sure that they were okay. And, after that, she’d go off and do one thing or another.
But, something caught her eye, and a childish smile graced it’s way on her lips. Hiding in a lonely alley, she grinned and stared at the person who was in front of her. Hopefully, they hadn’t seen her yet. At least, for now this would take her mind off of her current situation.

Cloud had been at the bar practically all day...After the Yazoo attack Cloud had been scared to leave Tifa alone. He was alone today though. He woke up in bed alone. He rubbed his hand through his spiky hair and got out of bed. He saw his black pants and pulled them on...Leaving only his chest bare...It was a hot day after all. Cloud let up all the windows last night. Well basically he knew why he got hot a lot...It was because of his night mares...And Cloud wasn't excepting any one today....So he walked down to the bar area and into the kitchen...And made another full pot of coffee....
Cloud finally walked out of that area and into the entrance of the bar where he saw a familiar face....
"Yuffie?"
He asked loud enough for her to hear him....He then walked over to her hand hugged her tightly. He was glad to see that one of his friends were still alive....After all this mess going on with the Darkness and the bad guys....Cloud decided that his friends were either dead or fighting off the Darkness in their own worlds....

Yuffie stomped her feet against the ground and pouted, again childishly. She had been trying to hide, trying to be a good ninja, but Cloud had managed to see her through her hiding spot. Granted, she hadn’t been very quiet trying to get there, and she was pretty sure it didn’t count of Cloud had seen her because Cloud was, well, Cloud. Now, it would be another thing if a Vincent had spotted her. She liked to keep away from his sight that way she could later try to scare him, or the same thing with Cid and Red. She wrinkled her nose at him and stuck out her tongue, all in childish manners, before whining slightly.
“Geez, Cloud. Could you have thought to let me have my moment and sneak up on you?” Yuffie asked standing straightly and scratching the back of her neck with a silly grin on her face. However, when her eyes drifted down, she blushed slightly. Was he really walking around without his shirt on? Sure, he didn’t have a bad-looking chest, not like she should be looking in the first place, but why was he going around parading it all? Would Tifa be, she didn’t know, jealous? “I know you have a good-looking body and all, but do you really need to go around and show the world?” She asked, grinning mischievously and crossing her arms.
Soon, though, Cloud took the necessary steps in order to stand in front of her, and he did something she’d never expect him to ever do. He hugged her. Her eyes widened to the point where she was pretty sure they’d pop out of her sockets or something along those lines. She was a nineteen year old scrawny ninja, who was sometimes called a brat by some of her older peers. Contrary to popular belief, and there really was none to there was no belief that there should be something there to contrast it, she did not have a lot of offers by any guys. And, sure. She hugged them and she teased them, but she had never gotten hugged by anyone else. “All right, all right! Let go of me already! We don’t need to make this some sob-story reunion!” [/color]

Cloud blushed slightly....
“All right, all right! Let go of me already! We don’t need to make this some sob-story reunion!”
"Uh...sorry..." He pulled away from her quickly. And rushed up stairs and grabbed his shirt and pulled it on and zipped it up and rushed back down stairs...He was embarrassed now...
"I just thought our friends forgot about us....No one has sent me any messages...But yeah you're right. No emotional scenes...So how've you been lately...?" Cloud asked trying to make common conversation with her. He realized that he hardly ever talked to another girl, unless it was Tifa...He felt awkward......As he looked out the window...He was wondering where Tifa was..."Alright...I'm sorry I'm not a good host...Tifa has that skill. Would you like some coffee...? Or some thing stronger? Do you need a place to stay while you're here? We have plenty of room...." Yup Cloud was bad at this....He has not done any fighting all week...He was so bored that he started working out again.....

Her mouth dropped a little. She had actually made him blush? She, the Great Ninja, had actually made him, Cloud-Mr. Stonic, Mr. I'm-too-serious, Mr. Can't-ever-crack-a-smile-, smile? It was hard to believe. She hardly had the experience to ever make anyone blush, but, at the same time, here she was making Cloud blush. Yuffie laughed, leaning forward and slapping her knee slightly. She wondered whether or not to tell Tifa about this later, but she figureed that that probably mean having to admit that Cloud had come outside without his shirt on, and had hugged her to boot. Yuffie didn't want to keep anything from her friend, but, neither, did she want to tell her about this. She hardly had any moments that were worth telling anyone, but, here she was.
She had no clue what she was going to do now, but she figured she had to think of something to say. But, right as she thought of something to say, Cloud pulled away from the hug and left her standing alone. She blinked twice, confused. Was she supposed to followe him or something? Fortunately, she didn't have to do anything. As soon as he left, Cloud came back sporting a shirt. Grinning teasingly, she gave him a saddened pout. As if she had been saddened by the fact that he had had gone and put on a new shirt, but she had just been kidding. Yuffie only hope that he knew that.
Yuffie's teasing smile and pout dropped considerably and she smiled at him sheepishly. She scratched the back of her head before frowning. "So, I'm not the only one that hadn't really kept in touch? That's weird-and I'm sorry for that. I was sure that, at least, Cid would be around. I was hunting for Materia, so that's why I haven't been around. So, Vincent isn't around either?" She asked with some disappointment seeping into her voice. She had been looking forward to seeing him again, but she guessed she'd just have to wait some more. It wasn't as if she would never see in again. He had to be around, right?
She forced her mind of the older boy in favor of listening to Cloud. She had been alright, hadn't she? Sure, she had encountered some monsters here and now, but they weren't anything she couldn't handle. "Yeah, I'm alright. Sorry I didn't send a message or anything. As for the sob story thing, I figured that's what be best for you. I mean, you aren't the most emotional guy in the world." When he continued on, she wondered whether or not he remembered that she was under aged. She considered just asking for Ale, if she acted natural, there was no reason to believe that he wouldn't fall for it. But, she decided against it. That'd be mean of her to do if he didn't remember, and it wouldn't be any fun to steal it considering Tifa wasn't here. "Don't worry about it, Cloud. Tifa just has experience doing this. I'm you'll get the hang of it, eventually. But, no, I don't need anything right now." She grinned at him before staring up at the sky. Did she need a place to stay? For now. She'd probably run off, later, without telling them where she was going. It wasn't as if she didn't trust them, she did, but she didn't feel as if they needed to know where she was going at all times. "Yeah, Cloud. I do think I'll need to get a room." She grinned at him before getting serious. "By the way, where's Tifa?" [/blockquote]

"So, I'm not the only one that hadn't really kept in touch? That's weird-and I'm sorry for that. I was sure that, at least, Cid would be around. I was hunting for Materia, so that's why I haven't been around. So, Vincent isn't around either?" Cloud looked down when she mentioned the rest of the group....No. They have not sent any thing...I'm kinda sorta worried....I mean I know they can take care of themselves....But they used to leave me messages all the time....All except Vincent....I know how he is about the cell phone thing...."
"Yeah, I'm alright. Sorry I didn't send a message or anything. As for the sob story thing, I figured that's what be best for you. I mean, you aren't the most emotional guy in the world."
Again another blush came across his cheeks....He really wasn't...But now he was...."Uh...Actually I've been able to open up more....Thanks to Tifa and the kids...I've had a better life too....not leaving them in the dark like I used to...."
"Don't worry about it, Cloud. Tifa just has experience doing this. I'm you'll get the hang of it, eventually. But, no, I don't need anything right now." "Alright...Don't hesitate to ask...."
"Yeah, Cloud. I do think I'll need to get a room." "A room? Now that I can do....I'll get you one up stairs....Tifa'll be happy to see you Yuffie. I am...."
"By the way, where's Tifa?" "I think she went shopping....But I'm not sure....It's just me today hope that'll be okay for now....Maybe she'll come back soon....She'll be happy to see you....I made some coffee want some...?" He walked over to the bar and grabbed a coffee cup....All the while thinking of what Yazoo told him last time he saw the crazy man....."He's...back." Cloud sighed out loud...For a moment forgetting that Yuffie was there....

Tifa woke up early and decided to go out for walk to stretch her legs and clear her mind of all that has been bothering her. She turned to Cloud who was still in deep sleep. She wanted to tell him but would feel guilty for waking him up later if she did. Ever since that day Yazoo came to visit Cloud refused to go to work and remained in the bar with her even when she assured him that she would be fine. She tried to convince him to leave for work but in the end she gave up arguing with him. Opening the door she stepped out into the fresh air although in Midgar you wouldn't really call it that, still Tifa tried to enjoy everything always looking at the bright side. A few hours passed and Tifa didn't notice. She was planning to return before Cloud woke up but probably it was too late for that now, still she thought it would be better to return to Seventh Haven. Tifa walked back to the door and opened it only to scream in surprise "YUFFIE....." She didn't expect anyone to come today since the bar was closed especially not one of her friends. It was good to see her, a smile just spread across her lips as she closed the door before turning to greet her and smiled happily at both her and Cloud, but something caught her attention at that moment once she saw the expression and Cloud's face and walked closer to see if he was alright. "Cloud...... are you okay?"(Hope its okay I let Tifa join )

Of course he hadn't been around. Was she just never going to be able to track him down? Sheesh. The next time she saw Vincent, she vowed that she would smack him. How dare he keep her as worried as she had been? Then again, it wasn't as if he liked her or anything, or even remotely cared about her. She was probably just an annoying child to him. Although she wasn't really a child anymore, she was still the youngest in their little group. Added to that, he was a lot, a lot, years older than her, even if he didn't age. It wasn't like he was ever going to be interested in her. Maybe she should give up on her childish crush on him before anyone figured it out. Just sometimes, she needed to be able to hide her feelings from people, and, she knew if Cloud pried, she'd probably spill her guts to him. It was funny hearing Cloud worry over their friends. She hadn't ever expected to hear him worry. Sure, he might have done it quietly, but she hadn't ever heard him say it outloud. It made him, in her opinion, look more human-y than she had ever seen before. A small proud smile graced Yuffie's lips. "If I seem to recall correctly, you guys seemed to give me grief for leaving you guys so much messages. Especially Vince." She laughed slightly before shaking her head. Maybe she'd give him a call later when she was alone and see if he would pick up. She doubted it, and her hopes would be crushed, but there was no reason not to try it.
She raised an eyebrow and crossed her arms, almost questionably. He had actually opened up? That would explain why he had been acting the way, he had. That was another thing she hadn't been expecting. It was weird for her to think about. Cloud was an ex-SOLDIER. She just didn't think they were capable of feeling anything, but there she was being showed differently. That got her thinking. If Cloud could change, could the other SOLDIERS she had met, and the Turks? She doubted about the Turks, but, maybe...Maybe they could change. Maybe they weren't the harsh people she had thought they were. Maybe she'd give them a second chance. Yuffie scoffed internally, and scolded herself. She honestly needed to stop wishfully thinking. They would never change. And she would always hate them. Always. "That's great! Now, if only we could get other certain people to do the same, we'd be a better group!"
That was a lie on her part. Yuffie did need something, she needed to save her people, but it wasn't as if Cloud could provide her with that, and, if he could, she certainly wasn't going to ask him to help her. This was her fight, and hers alone. She refused to ask her friends to fight her fight. "Don't worry your pretty, little, spiky head off." She said brightly. "If I need something, of course I'll whine until I get it. It's like you don't know me anymore." she pouted at him as if she was disappointed in him. But, she knew he knew she was just teasing him again. A look crossed over her face, however. "In all honesty, I actually need to talk to Tifa. I need to ask her something about something." she said, trying to be as casual as possible.
But she grinned at him whenever he said he had missed her. She had missed him, too. It seemed like it had been an eternity since she had last seen him, or any of them. And then, they had thought that they had won, but everyone was back again. Sephiroth and all of them. "Of course it's okay, Cloud. We're friends too, right?" she beamed. She couldn't help but want Tifa to hurry up, though. They really needed to talk. She had to ask the older girl some very important questions. She didn't feel like clarifying on that, and she'd be sure to give him a special look if he asked, but she doubted he would. He wasn't one to pry, was he? Yuffie let out a surprised little yelp before nodding her head, sheepishly. "Yeah. You know, I can't help but wonder. If someone evil like him can come back, could the innocent people come back too? The Turks can stay dead for all I care, but the other people?" she knew that one or two of them might have been his friends, but she didn't care about that.
Just when she was about to open her mouth and say something else, a loud scream errupted from behind them. She whirled around and her mouth curved upwards into a grin. "Tifa!" [/blockquote]

Now, if only we could get other certain people to do the same, we'd be a better group!" "Don't worry your pretty, little, spiky head off." Cloud laughed...She was who she was...That was one reason Cloud like Yuffie....As a friend....But nothing else....He would help in any way he could...But it was her....She never asked for it....."If I need something, of course I'll whine until I get it. It's like you don't know me anymore." Yup he was right about that.....And smiled slightly at her and nodded....."In all honesty, I actually need to talk to Tifa. I need to ask her something about something." That surprised him....She would ask Tifa....But not him...? What was it? He thought about it for a moment....Maybe a girl thing? He didn't know that was for sure..... "Of course it's okay, Cloud. We're friends too, right?" He started to say some thing....But some else close to him asked the very same question. Zack....Cloud remembered that clearly....Ridding on the back of that truck so long ago....When it was just him and Zack....And Cloud was not apart of AVALANCHE......"Yeah. You know, I can't help but wonder. If someone evil like him can come back, could the innocent people come back too? The Turks can stay dead for all I care, but the other people?" Cloud completely ignored her question....By this time his mind was some where else...."Tifa!" "YUFFIE....." "Cloud...... are you okay?" Tifa's voice was always the one to bring him back.... "Yes. I'm fine....No worries okay...." He said.....Only Tifa truly knew what was bothering him now...No one else would....Well, Cloud had a feeling that Zack would feel that Sephiroth was back as well.....He was just like Cloud in that way....He and Zack could both sense when Sephiroth would take a breath....It was the J cells and S cells....But only Cloud was infused with S Cells...Still Zack could feel it Cloud hoped that his bud was taking care of himself....It's been days since he saw him last.... ((YAY!! TIFA!! XD ))

"Its good to see you again you should drop by more often not only when there is a fight okay" Tifa chuckled and smiled it was always good to see a friend, and she was glad Yuffie was alright. With all that happened she couldn't help but worry about everyone.
"By the way how is Vincent?" Tifa asked. She couldn't contact him since he didn't have a phone or didn't answer it like Cloud, but those two were together most of the time so she thought Yuffie would know.
Tifa saw the look on Clouds face. She could tell he was still worried about everything especially what Yazoo told him that Sephiroth was back. No one knew about this and there was no reason to worry them. Yazoo was probably just trying to scare Cloud and thought about mentioning Sephiroth. There was no guarantee that what he said was true so Tifa just discarded that and hoped that Cloud will too. She just gave him a smile one that said 'everything will be alright.'

He was ignoring her now, so it seemed. He was probably lost in his own world, and she didn’t really want to interrupt him. She knew Cloud relatively well, if she did say so herself. He was one of those that, if they weren’t paying attention to you, it was usually because they had much more serious things going on in their mind, and they couldn’t be bothered. But, with the arrival of Tifa, she knew he would change, and he would lighten up more than he already had. Who knew, with Tifa here, she might just get her answer. “Aww, but Tifa.” She whined stomping her feet. “You know I have to be constantly on the lookout for new Materia, and, for that, I have to travel to new places! I won’t always have time to come and visit you guys.” She pouted, but a small smile graced her lips.
“I’m just kidding. Of course I’ll try and come visit you guys more often. Especially, if the next time I visit, I may actually get something to drink.” She laughed and gave the older girl a kidding wink. But, she wasn’t really kidding. Tifa never let her have a drink, and, even though she was still only nineteen, Yuffie thought she was mature enough to have one. It wasn’t as if one could put a magical limit on an age. Besides, it wasn’t as if she was going to get into a nasty habit of anything like Cid had. She was, for the most part, mature enough to be able to set a limit for herself. But, when Tifa continued to talk, she let her jaw drop. After she had managed to close her lips, she realized that her eyes were furrowed, and that she was now biting the edge of her lips. They didn’t know where Vincent was, either? Should she be worried about him, or should she just forget him? After all, Vincent was strong enough to take care of himself. He didn’t need a small, scrawny ninja to look after him, despite what she believed. Taking a deep breath, Yuffie tried to control the look on her face by raising an eyebrow. “What do you mean by that, Tifs? It’s not like I keep tabs on Vincent or anything. It’s not like we’re a thing, or whatever you two call it, like, well, the two of you.”
She blushed softly and averted her eyes. “He doesn’t even like me, Tifa. I have a better chance with…with one of those guys. You know the ones I'm talking about, right?...That...guy and that cocky redhead.” She forced it to come out of her mouth, and she tried to force it to get out of her head. She knew she was just facing the truth, and that it shouldn’t affect her like it had been, but she couldn’t help it. She liked, and cared for, Vincent a lot, but he never gave her a second thought. His mind was wrapped around himself, and the scientist woman he had been in love with before their group had found him. She swallowed, trying to put it out of her mind before frowning at Cloud. “He’s lying, Tifa. He’s not okay, he just won’t show it. You know, more than I do really, how he can get.” She stuck her tongue out at Cloud before shifting her gaze on Tifa. The two of them looked so good together, and they balanced each other out, to boot. She was jealous of them at the same time she was happy for them. She swallowed before grinning. “Actually, Tifa, I had a question for you, but it can wait until later. After all, I don’t want to ruin this little…happy greeting we’re having here.”
