Her hand traced across the wall of a run-down looking home as she pulled on her hood to stay over the mop she called her hair. It was starting to get longer, now, although it still didn’t touch her shoulders at it. When she had first arrived, she had been completely lost and wondering where the dark corridor had managed to take her. To say the least, she had never been in this world before. She had ditched her coat behind a random alley, as she refused to be associated with one of the Organization members now, and was now wearing a Naminé-like dress. It wasn’t white, a color she doubted she’d ever be able to wear, but it was the same size at Naminé’s dress had been. Fortunately for her, the dress had sleeves that came down to an inch below her shoulders, and it was, technically, a mirror of her coat.
It even had a hood and plenty of zippers. She’d also ditched the large gloves, exposing her, frankly, very pale hands to the world. She kept her heels on, though, as she felt it would have been bad if she had been a hooded figure wondering around without shoes. Xion let out a sigh. Thankfully, she had been tested by Vexen when she was created. She was so glad she knew how to wonder around crowds and blend in. If she didn’t, then she didn’t want to think about where she would be right now. So, for now, she was condemned to wondering around and trying to figure this place out until she sought some information she longed to have. Like, if anyone had seen a spiky-haired blond with a distant look, or a porcupineish red-head that had plenty of attitude.
She stopped walking as she came upon an Inn. Inn’s were generally good places to get information, weren’t they? They came with bars, usually, and bars came with drunk people willing to give up information if given the proper stuff. Xion doubted she’d be able to bribe anyone with buying a drink for them unless the second person, preferably older, asked for it and she paid for it. Then again, she didn’t have any munny for anything, either. She stood in front of the door, rather nervously, and considered all the options of going in. If she did, she might have a chance to find someone who had plenty of information. If there were no such people, she might risk the chance of running into Luxord, who enjoyed bars for the purpose of gambling away.
Right as she was about to push the in open and walk in, something inside of her begged for her not to, and she couldn’t help but run away. And run she did. She ran until she was nearly at the outskirts of the town, or village, whatever it was. Before she could stop, however, she forced herself to keep still and breath in. “Go back, you cowardly puppet. How are you supposed to find them if you’re too chicken to go inside that Inn?”

Sephiroth
Sephiroth walked without noise down the alleyways, his glowing green eyes were mere slits as he contemplated his next move. He was searching for Hojo, the mass of complexes he so much despised. That man, he was worthless in his yes, and yet, he needed him. As worthless as he was, he had information about Jenova. And since Genesis hadn’t been around to find out information about Jenova, he was now going to find Hojo. His lips turned into a low snarl, he hated him, everything about him, but the information he had was useful, as much as he hated to admit it. He didn’t loose his calm however, he was going to make Hojo talk.
He didn’t care how he did it, torturing the man wasn’t below him, both physically and emotionally, the best way to go. However, he didn’t know many ways that he could torture him emotionally. He would let that rest until he decided how to go about it. He stopped in his collected walking, his body poised, eyes searching the area without turning his head. Eyes glowered, had he heard a sound? Drawing out the masamune, he simply waited for someone to show themselves. He thought a good place to be was to search the area he was in.
Hojo had been reported on being in this area, the last time he checked. Sephiroth narrowed his eyes. Jenova, they kept hiding her on him, but he would find her. When he did, he was going to take this planet, the planet that had rightfully been his mothers, and now belonged to him. He would use this planet, and he didn’t care who he harmed in the process, he was a god, he bowed to no one.
He wasn’t actually in the town yet, rather on the outskirts. He once again heard the noise, labored breathing, the sound of light footsteps. He was well in the darkness, but lights from the surrounding area shone through. He waited in silence, his body absolutely still, what would be coming, who would be coming? He would simply eradicate them, whoever it was. A person running, that usually meant combat for him, His SOLDIER training, combined with his manipulation of the Jenova cells within him made him not human, rather, he was a superhuman being.
He wasn’t nervous about taking out this being. It didn’t bother him at all, it was simply his dealings. As the being stopped, breathing quickly, he narrowed his eyes. His hand clasped around the handle of the masamune, yet something stopped him from drawing it out. In the shadowy moonlight, he saw who the being was. A girl, with short black hair, not yet to her shoulders. Her dress, black, fitted her, making her pale skin shine through. He smirked when she started speaking to herself. He let her stand there for a few moments, before speaking up, his body hidden in the dark area he was in. “A puppet…puppets cannot have feelings, so in order to feel cowardice, you must be human….so which is it?” He didn’t reveal himself, simply standing there, his eyes narrowed, wondering what she would do.

Her eyes widened and she swerved around. Her hair spun with her and hit her face, but she didn’t mind at all. She was more concerned about the fact that someone had heard her. She cursed herself for calling herself a puppet, but, before she could scold herself longer, something snapped within her mind. It was almost as if the voice spoken was familiar to her, yet she could not recall having heard it before. It was an extremely weird feeling. Like, the area where her heart would be had she had one was thumping, yet, she knew, if she put her hand over that area to check whether or not she had one, she knew exactly what she would find. Nothing. A hollow shell with empty thoughts.
Somehow, her eyes managed to completely loose their purpose of trying to find the person who had talked in order to stare at the ground in complete sadness. She didn’t care who had found her talking to herself because, ultimately, it was not one of the Organization members, and, so, she didn’t care. Still, she couldn’t shake off the feeling of why it felt so familiar. That’s when it kind of hit her. The person who had talked. The first thing she had realized was that it had been a man’s voice, and, secondly, that either Roxas or, more than likely, Sora had heard the voice before. Truly, though, she wondered which one it had been. If she could, she’d bet munny that it had been Sora since she had been around for almost as long as Roxas had. Still, since she couldn’t recall the name, or even the face, of the person who had talked, she lifted her gaze, defiantly, and started looking around once more. It hadn’t hit her before what the voice had said, but, now that her head was free to think, her lips curved downwards into a frown.
Puppets could not have feelings? It reminded her of something Saix would say as he gave her a mission and waved her away. Or maybe, just maybe, it reminded her of what was true. Either way, she had no immediate comeback for it. Neither, though, did she expect for the person to think she was human, and it made her let out an amused, yet not amused, laugh. She wasn’t human, despite what Riku had tried to convince her to believe. And, with that thought, her laugh abruptly ended and a blank expression was placed on her face. Was she feeling cowardice, or a mere memory of it? Riku would probably say something about it being her own feelings, to which she would argue back that it was Sora’s memories of cowardice. Would she bring up the same argument with a man she couldn’t see? Of course Xion would, because she hadn’t been able to make a good argument of it for a while, yet, at the same time, she refused to share with him everything of her world.
She let her eyes close and let herself concentrate on the voice. Although the male had not said much, it was enough for her to get the general direction of where he was. And, added to that, he was hiding himself within the darkness. It made her want to laugh again. It was apparent that the person didn’t know she was a being created using darkness. Xion opened her blue eyes once more to scan the area around her. It annoyed her that the man was hiding. If he was, indeed, a man. For all she knew, he could be another Nobody that showed up after her death. She hadn’t heard about him, but she couldn’t be sure. He could also be another Replica. “A human I am not, nor will I ever be.” She stated simply staring up at the sky and shrugging. “Who’s to say I’m actually ‘feeling’ cowardice and not just commenting on it from a mere memory? Besides, I’m not the one hiding in the darkness.”

Sephiroth
Sephiroth waited, his arms crossed, hidden in the darkness that surrounded him. The moon shone brightly, yet where he was, he could not be seen. The light of the surrounding area did not hit him. He watched her, her eyes found the ground, seeming to soak it up. He watched her through his glowing green eyes. He wondered what might be running thorugh her mind. His ability to read minds only went so far, and this girl…she had many thoughts, and memories, floating around in her brain. Her memories, they were not clear, in fact, they seemed to be jumbled up, most of them were faint, that was all he could get from her.
He did not know the voice, and neither did he know the girl. She seemed to be thinking deeply about something, what it was, he did not know. He heard her laugh, but did not move, did not speak, simply stood, studying her. It was not a hearty laugh, it was almost emotionless, yet it held both amusement and a cold non-amusement. It was almost as if she was thinking two different things at the same time. She struggled with herself, her own thoughts, that he was easily able to read about her. He did not feel any emotion running through his heart. To show emotion was weakness, and he, Sephiroth, was not weak. Humans were beneath him, pathetic creatures. He had no respect for any mere human, they did not deserve respect from him…a god!
He wondered what she would do, try to lash out at him? Try to attack him? She did not seem like she would do that, but he was always prepared for anything. He had control over more power then anyone, anything. He could almost thank Cloud, for being in the lifestream, had not only gave him a vast increase of knowledge, it also made him even more powerful. Instead of having to use materia to use magic, he could take it from his very being. Every time he went into the lifestream, he became more powerful, more intelligent, and far more deadly.
He was truly filled with darkness, destruction, hate. She denied being a human simply, yet almost venomously. He smirked in the darkness, he had told Cloud the same thing simply a short while ago. He was not human, to be put in with that race, it would be a disgrace to him! Humans…there was no reason to wish to be one if you were not. “Then you are fortunate, to be human…it is not something that you should wish for.” At her comment about saying it from a mere memory, his mind thought of Cloud. He remembered the time when Cloud thought he was Zack, an old acquaintance of his, and Cloud’s ‘best friend.’ He loved to torture Cloud, anything he could do to make him suffer.
He did not know why Cloud claimed to feel emotion, he was simply a puppet as well. He was a puppet because of the Jenova cells that inhabited his body. He arched his eyebrow at her words about him hiding in the darkness. Uncrossing his arms and taking a few steps, he walked into the moonlight. The moon illuminated his face, his body, showing who he was. “I do not hide in the darkness, I do not hide from anything or anyone!” his body was poised, his voice held no extreme emotion, rather it was calm, cool and confident. “here I am, I’m not hiding in the darkness as you say, so what now?”
“You say that you comment off memories, but would those memories not be your own? Or are you suggesting that your ‘memories’ are not your own, but someone else’s?” He usually did not simply converse with others, but what she spoke of interested him. Was she suggesting that she was a being made up of another’s memories? Preposterous! Or was it? He had seen odder things happen then that, although other then Cloud thinking himself Zack, he had never seen another being made up of another’s emotions. The idea interested him, since he did not know of it. Anything was worth learning about, in Angeal’s words, “no story is not worth hearing…”

She took a deep breath in before shrugging her shoulders outwardly. She made no movement to turn around and see who he was. She could honestly care less, although there was a little nagging voice at the back of head telling her to turn around and see if the face was recognizable. Instead of turning around, she brought her hand up to her face so that she could observe herself some more. She was pale. Extremely pale. Her lesson for always wearing her coat instead of letting her puppet body soak up any sun to turn her even remotely tan. If she stood next to Sora, or even next to Roxas, she’d look like nothing more than a ghost. Like the shards she had become before she had disappeared the last time. Then again, of course she’d look like nothing compared to Sora. He was the Somebody, the important part of them. She wasn’t even supposed to exist, she wasn’t supposed to be thought of if Roxas wasn’t supposed to exist. Yet, she couldn’t help but wonder. She could feel no warmth coming from the man, even though she could now clearly hear his heartbeat. Xion sighed. To ponder these things were getting to be too much of a hassle for her. She needed to learn to forget the past because it didn’t matter, and move on to the, hopefully, more bright future that lay in store for them. But, it was words like that one, like hopefully, that threw her off track and immediately made her think of the past once more. Of who she was, and how she could not feel.
To say idiotic things like hopefully made her want to summon her Keyblade and smash some heartless around just to let out some anger. Ha. And anger, what another emotion she did not have. She really needed to stop saying words like that unless she was referring to Sora’s emotions during his memories. And, thinking of his memories, she had one of his clearly in his mind. He was laying around on Destiny Island’s beach with his eyes closed when, suddenly, he opened his eyes, his blue eyes which her eyes were mirrored after, only to be scared by another girl. A girl that looked much like she did now, except with fiery red hair. “I knew you were going to slack off soon, Sora!” Her voice was clearly in her mind, and only because Sora remembered it. She shook the memory out of her head only to throw her head back and shake her head, allowing her hair to sway slightly once she had stopped. “Lucky? You would consider me lucky? How foolish you are. You wish your beating heart that allows you to feel freely.” Xion scoffed before turning around slightly. She kept her eyes closed so that she couldn’t see him, but his voice was still clearly in her head. She didn’t want to talk to him, either. Yet, at the same time, she wanted to tell him how wrong he was. How much of an idiot he was. Still, he didn’t know how lucky he was.
He still had his heart, so what would he know about not being able to have it? He didn’t know, so she couldn’t say anything about it. Especially if she wanted to add the fact that she wouldn’t tell him anything about the Heartless, or anything about the Nobodies. And, specially, not about what she was. About the Replicas. So, instead, she shook her head. “Maybe you should, whoever you may be. Maybe you should learn to stay away from the Darkness before it consumes you like it has so many people before you.” She paused to take a step where the voice had come from. “Before it devours your heart, or, whatever’s left of it.” Xion didn’t know why she had said what she did, but she couldn’t stop it now that it had come out of her mouth.
However, she raised her hand up to her chin and rested her head on that arm while balancing it with her other arm. She let a smile warm it’s way onto her lips before she opened her eyes and took a step forward towards the man. Now she could see him better. He was bigger than her by a long shot, but most people were considering she was no older than fifteen years old. She felt her eyes lower and she allowed herself to give him a shrug. If she had to guess, she’d say he was about as tall as Axel or Marluxia was. “When are a puppet’s memories ever their own? Sure, they may hold memories of their existence, all which fade away within their fading.” She let out a fake lamenting sigh. “Then again, the memories may slip away because they cannot be contained within a hollow shell? No one will ever know.” She shrugged and gave him a smirk.

Sephiroth
He saw as he stood there, now in the full moonlight, that she did not turn around. She simply stood there, observing herself in the moonlight. She was pale, that was for sure, you could almost see right through her. He crossed his arms and watched her as well. He didn’t know what she was, she claimed to be a puppet, as well as memories. She was deep in thought, which was easy to see. He didn’t take the time to read her mind to figure out what she was thinking about.
Memories…if they were indeed what she was made up from, why did she have the physical appearance of a human? A girl? At her words, he did not move. “Yes, I have a beating heart, but do not confuse that with feeling freely. That is the mark of a human, feeling all emotions freely, something that I am not!” He would never be a human! He didn’t want any to think him a human, he hated them, their emotions, their weakness, their stupidity! She turned around, and yet her eyes were not open. If he wanted to, he could kill her, and yet, he did not wish to. He hadn’t conversed with anything, anyone like this in a long time.
He felt the smirk on his face rise when she warned him about staying away from the darkness. He was darkness, he had no light left in him. To be filled with lightness…it would be weakness. “You cannot warn me away from the darkness…the light, it cannot penetrate my very being. I removed any light that was in me long ago, it was weakness, lightness shows traces of being human. For when you have light in you, you feel things, emotions, happiness, love…I feel no such things.” He saw her open her eyes. “Your concern, whether you are simply what you say, a puppet, made up from memories, or not, you show feelings. That means that you are human, or you are part.”
He nodded when she spoke of a puppet’s memories. She was right, Cloud’s memories had not been his own, but rather Zack’s. He crossed his arms once again. His long silver hair flowed in the cool night breeze. The moonlight glinted off his masamune. He cocked his head. “What you suggest, is that a puppet cannot continue because the memories they are made of will simply fade within their very being. Interesting, and yet, the puppet I know, is still existing, after many years.” He growled a little bit when he thought of Cloud.

She closed her eyes and shook her head. Then, she was soon opening her eyes, again She gave him a pitying smile before shrugged her shoulders. It was what he wanted to believe, and she wouldn’t try to convince him to feel that was she did. It wouldn’t be right for her to do, nor did she honestly wasn’t to make him. She was tired of having this conversation so many times, yet, at the same time, she felt as if she could never have her fill. Xion clenched her fists together, and then she relaxed them. “But the heart is what gives you those emotions in the first place.” She said simply taking a step forward, trying to get close to him. She wanted to do that so that they could have a better conversation, but she felt as if this was not the man you wanted to get close to. “I would trade you places in a heartbeat, stranger. I’d rather be the one with the heart that can feel instead of a hollow shell.”
But, unfortunately, a hollow shell was all she could be, was all she could ever hope to be. She wished she could be a human. To have a firm, steady, heartbeat beating within her heart at a wonderful rhythm. A heart that would race whenever she was nervous, such as whenever she was around Riku, and a heart that would jump for joy whenever she was happy, like when she was with Roxas, Axel, and Riku. When the man began to talk once more, she snapped her head up and forced herself to pay attention, and to not give in to her thoughts. “Or you closed your heart off to these things. I think that you can feel them, whoever you may be. I think that, deep inside of you, rooted to the very bottom of your core, you can feel these things, and that, possibly, you’re afraid of them so you close yourself off to them.” She shrugged, not really sure what to say to him. “If it weren’t for the fact that you give off a threatening feeling, I’d hug you right now.”
That was the first time she had ever received a compliment such as that. She was, to say the least, extremely flattered. Here was a man whom she had told she was a simple puppet, and he still believed she was a human, and that she had emotions. She couldn’t recall being happier than she was at this moment. She wanted to jump up and down, up and down. To run and find Roxas more than anything right now, and to tell him what she had been told. However, when she saw the glitter of his weapon, she forced herself to calm down. “Then the puppet you know is not like the puppet I am. But, that was not exactly what I was trying to say. The memories that made me, they shaped me into what I am today. They gave me, what you would say, a personality of my own. I took the memories and made them my own, as well as made my own. However, when in battle, and when defeated to the point that a regular human would bleed and die, leaving behind a body, I would simply turn to crystal and break. The puppet of yours must have not been killed, like I have been.” [/color]

Sephiroth
Sephiroth crossed his arms as she pointed out that the heart gives you emotion. “Yes but it is up to the brain to actually allow them to show, or feel. If you close your mind and heart to them, they are not shown. In the least they do not control you.” He shrugged slightly, “You only have a problem with emotions if they consume you or you cannot think clearly.” He stayed put, his eyes were not on her, but looking out into the distance. Emotions…he hated them! He didn’t like humans because of that. Humans always had those emotions that were always getting in the way.
He saw her out of the corner of his eyes, it was almost as if she wanted to get closer to him. He turned and looked at her, his green eyes glowed. “No you would not, let me tell you that.” He smiled evilly, his entire face glowing in his destructive anger. “But I am the chosen one, my power is unmatched, I can thank my mother for that.” He smirked, and turned toward her. “My beating heart…we could not switch, because I could never be a puppet as you say.”
The smirk dropped from his face. “I am the chosen one, I have to feel something, and yet, I do not feel things like love, happiness, those sort of feelings.” He looked at her with no expression on his face. “But you do have a heart, you just need to find it, I do not know how to tell you to find it.” She seemed lost in thought. He smirked and blinked slowly. “You are the first person to tell me that I have any emotion…but maybe you are right. Maybe I have emotions deep down…but I do not think so.” He turned around and laughed a little bit. “I once had emotions…”
He smirked a little bit, contemplating his previous life. He didn’t know when everything went the way it had. Maybe back in that mako reactor. Maybe it was 30 years ago with Hojo. Maybe it was 4000 years ago with Jenova! "But no more..." He snapped out of his thinking and cleared his throat. He turned and raised his eyebrows when she spoke of hugging him. He realized that he had never been hugged. He put up his defenses and smiled a little bit. “I couldn’t allow you to hug me, even if you wished it…” he cleared his throat once again and looked away from her.
He waited as she explained what she was. He didn’t quite understand, but it sounded like she was the memories of others wrapped into a human body. He wondered how that was possible. She was so serious. “no, the puppet of mine has not been killed, but that is not what I want of him! I want him to join me…but he will continue being a puppet once he does.” He was at a loss for words. “What you say, about memories…I am glad that Hojo did not figure out how to harness that power! That mass of walking complexes would only mess it up!”

She shook her head. He wasn’t getting what she was trying to say. She supposed it didn’t matter, but they were both raised differently, and, thus, probably had different beliefs when it came to this kind of stuff. She, for one, believed that to feel emotions was entirely up to the heart, but he thought it was because of the brain. Apart of her wanted to argue with him, but, the other part of her cautioned her to the dangers of doing so, and she didn’t. The man just gave off an aura she did not want to mess with. “You and I are different there, then, stranger.” Xion state shrugging her shoulders. “To you, having emotions seem like a bad thing, and you seem to not want any. But, to me, they are my greatest desire, and my only wish.”
When he chose to thank his mother for all the power he supposedly had, she couldn’t help but force herself not to laugh. Then, she thought herself to be confused. How could his mother possibly give him all that power? And, as another bonus, she doubted whether or not he had enough power that it could go unmatched. Somewhere inside of her, she was sure that that was a lie, but she didn’t comment on that, either. “Oh, I would.” She said, rather firmly. She was still kind of freaked out by his evil smile, but it wasn’t anything she wasn’t used to. “At least you have a mother.” She muttered in a much-quite voice. She didn’t even, exactly, know how she came to be, and this man had everything, and he didn’t even notice it. “Ah, but you don’t see it, do you? If you have as much power as you claim to have, then you’d be so strong you would overcome the puppet role.”
He was the chosen one? Chosen for what, she wondered. She considered asking him, but, then, she figured that that would be prying, and she didn’t exactly feel like. “Hatred, then? Hatred, despair, and angst, are those some of the emotions that you feel?” A small smirk formed its way onto her lips, and she let out an amused laugh. “I’d rather feel emotions like those than nothing like I’m supposedly doing.” she sighed. “You claim not to be able to feel love and happiness, and, with it, probably compassion, but, what you are saying to me indicates, to me at least, that you have at least some. Then again, it may just be a mocking kind of pity, but I chose not to believe that.” Xion took another hesitant step forward, and she smiled softly. “Is that so? Well, from what I can see by our little chat as of yet, I don’t really believe that. And yet, if it is true, I don’t see why others would say that.” She shrugged her shoulders.
There must have been a reason for that, but she really didn’t feel like prying into the mans life. For some reason, she felt that, if she did, something bad would come out of it, and she didn’t want to deal with anything bad that came out of it. She shook her head. “I don’t want to pry into your life, but may I ask why that is? I don’t want to only look at your…situation from one side of the problem, however, and I feel, ha, as if I’m missing something.” Yet again, she took another step forward. They were three steps closer than they were at the beginning of their conversation, but she felt as if she wouldn’t be satisfied unless they were right in front of each other. She let out a little laugh and shook her head several times. “I felt like you would say something along those lines, and, for that very reason, I am not hugging you at the moment.” The puppet of his? It made her want to smack him, but, again, she knew better than to do that. She knew it wasn’t smart to anger people like him, whatever his name as. “I see. Your puppet, then, is it on the light side?” She asked giving him a questionable look. She knew, inside of her, that his puppet probably wasn’t like her in the slightest. His puppet was probably human, and he just viewed him like a puppet instead of the human. “Why would you do that, though? Why would you wish someone to join the darkness, even if he is nothing but a puppet?” she asked, deeply confused this time. She wouldn’t wish the darkness on her greatest of enemies, frankly because they already were on the dark side. “Hojo?” She repeated. “But, thanks so much for the compliment. It was so…nice of you.” She said sarcastically.

Sephiroth
He shook his head slightly when she said that she would indeed want to switch places with him. He didn’t argue with her, but he also knew that once she was in his place, she would wish she could go back. Having this life, so much power, it was…challenging. And yet he did it because he was going to finally bring Jenova back to life! His plan, it would work this time, he knew it to be so. They would all find out the hard way that you can never truly defeat Jenova or himself! While he thought, his smirk stayed up on his lips. He was truly the most powerful being I the universe! “I will have a mother…she is not exactly in physical form at the moment. She is in the planet, she is the planet, but I will bring her back, and together…” He trailed off, it wouldn’t be good to tell his plan to anyone, even if they did not look like they would present a challenge to that plan. She did have a point when she spoke of overcoming the puppet role. “I could never be a puppet, that is what I’m saying, it is impossible for me to be a puppet like…him.” He growled slightly when he spoke of Cloud.
“yes, I feel those emotions to a small degree…but to many emotions will consume you. If you have emotions, then you will become less of a being, and soon, you will loose yourself to your emotions and that of the will of those around you.” He looked at her, she looked like she felt emotions, although he did not envy anyone for their ability to feel emotions such as love, compassion. They were puppets to society, and he despised them. The girl was to kind, and innocent it would seem. She dared to get closer to him then she was, and told him that he had emotion. He did not show any emotion on his face however, as she cam closer to him. “You say that I feel emotions? But I do not…no pity, or compassion is in me, and of that fact, I am satisfied.” He looked into her eyes, his own green cat eyes narrowed slightly. “You must believe the truth now don’t you.”
He smiled when she asked why he could have no emotion. “Because to show emotion is weakness. To s how emotions such as pity, compassion, is to be human. Humans are weak, and I am not human, so do not tell me I am because I am not!” “4000 years ago, humans, they ran and hid, they allowed my mother to be destroyed, while the ancients helped, they hid and waited for her race to die. Then they took over the earth. They are weak…and I despise them!” (btw Sephiroth has a twisted view of what happened and who ‘mother’ is. Just to warn you since you said you didn’t know much about FF7 so… xP) “You cannot hug me because I would kill you…” He spoke simply, and yet, his eyes held the truth. He hated people touching him, or being around him. He had never been hugged in his life, and this was not the time to start. He turned his back to her. “I am truly…darkness…I feel nothing for anyone…no compassion, no love, no pity. Those are feelings that are beneath me.” He turned his head, noticing that she was even closer then she had been before. He wondered when she would stop getting closer to him. She seemed to want to get closer, and yet, it was not a wise thing to do.
“yes, Cloud is on the light side, but not for long…he will give him to the darkness, finally accept the darkness that is always in him. He cannot get rid of it, and this time…he will give in!” He smirked, “Why? Because, he has part of Jenova in him, he was enhanced, and will be valuable to me in the darkness…plus, we have something to settle, him and I. And if he joins the darkness…I shall win.” He smirked, “Hojo is simply a scientist…but he is a walking mass of complexes.” He turned back toward her completely. “You say I complimented you, because I said that you show emotions. Why do you say such a thing? How can anyone thing emotions are a good thing?” He thought it so confusing. Why would anyone want emotions?

She wondered how that could be. How could his mother be in the planet? The only thing she could think of to explain it would have to be that his mother was dead, but, taking into mind the way he spoke about her, she didn’t think that was the case. And, then he decided to speak about bringing her back, and she winced. Whenever she heard about bringing someone back from the supposed dead, she immediately thought of the Organization, and, whatever happy thought that happened to be in her mind disappeared with a sigh She just hated them. So much, or as much as she was allowed to. “You’re just lucky that, supposedly, you have a family. If I, a puppet, were to have a family, it’d probably be the other puppets like me, and, of course, my creator. However, I do not view them as a family, and I never will.“ She left out the part where she thought her two best friend’s to be her family. He’d probably think she was weak, or something, for thinking that, but she could care less. “You say that it is impossible, and, yet, you will never know. Sure, maybe you aren’t a puppet like him, a human puppet, yet, but, what if, in the near or far future, you become one?”
“Less than a being, you say? Well, what happens when you were made to be less than a being? When you were made to copy someone else, and to do someone else’s bidding? What do you do then, Mr. I-have-all-the-answers?” she asked with a questioning look. She didn’t get it. How could these people understand so much, know so much, yet, at the same time, know and understand so little? It was like they didn’t know anything. They didn‘t know that they were the lucky ones, and that she would give anything, anything, to have what they had. A heart to call their own, emotions to feel, and even a soul to have. She was as envious as she could be. She wanted a heart of her own, and she wanted a soul of her own. She didn’t want to always have to think what she felt came from Sora. “Or maybe you just think you’re satisfied.” She said stiffly, biting her lip. “How are you to truly know? How are you able to say that you are satisfied the way you are if you haven’t felt all the emotions yet?” Xion asked raising an eyebrow gracefully. “As for the truth, there are a lot of truths, none of which I ‘feel’ like I must believe.”
She quite agreed with him on that one, not like she would admit it. To show emotion, in some situations really would have been weak, but, in other instances, they wouldn’t really be. They‘d be a strength, and they’d be an advantage. Maybe it was just because he was hurt in ways she would never, understand, or maybe it was just that he didn’t want to understand at all in the first place, she’d never know. “If having emotions are a weakness, than it is a weakness I desire and want. As for what you’re thinking, I’m not exactly sure you are correct. You are human, but that doesn’t mean you have to be weak. You might just be one of those humans who have control over which emotions they want to feel.” She shrugged and looked away from him, calculating. That wasn’t possible, was it? If his Mother was being killed over 4000 years ago, wouldn’t that make him older than he was right now? It would explain his hair, but it was impossible to live that long, wasn’t it? And, if it wasn’t, that must have been a lonely road he walked, and she felt, or thought she felt, sympathy for him. “Do you really though? How can you hate something you…are?” She asked, her voice dropping to a quiet whisper. When he threatened to kill her, she smiled at him before pushing her hair behind her ears. “I am not afraid of death. It’s happened to me before, and I’m simply putting off time until it happens again. Although, it might or might not be a shame to lose my ‘life’ for the sake of getting a hug, but, I think it would be worth it.” She let out a small laugh before turning completely serious. “Or, stranger, are they just emotions that you are afraid to let other people see because you think they would make you weak?”
She didn’t mind that she was a puppet, she didn’t really mind when she was called a puppet to her face, either, but she didn’t want to hear about someone being called a puppet when they truly weren’t. It just aggravated her to no end. “Why should he?” She asked bored. It didn’t seem like it was fair to this Cloud person, the issued a sense of familiarity in her mind, too, to join the darkness just because, supposedly, it was in side of him. “If the Darkness supposedly makes you stronger, and I have no idea what Jenova is, either, then why would you want him to join it? Would it not just make him stronger? And, if he were stronger, than wouldn’t he be able to beat you?” She asked, confused. “And you use that little saying of yours a lot, just so you know." She pointed out with a laugh. “Because I knew someone like you, once. Someone who said I was incapable of having emotions because of what I am. But, to have emotions of my own means that I am a failure of a puppet, which would be a good thing for me. It means that I surpassed what I was supposed to be. A body that did as it was told, and replaced the person I was supposed to copy. But, if I have emotions, then, well, I’m closer to getting a soul, and, ultimately a heart. And, even though you think emotions are horrible, and you would never want them, I think we’ve made it clear that I’m not you, right?” she grinned brightly, despite the fact that he wasn’t looking at her.
