Something ached in Cloud's stomach before he even left the bar this morning. But he managed to keep it from Tifa. And hide his illness from her. It was a few deliveries before it got really bad. Cloud rarely got sick. This was when he thought about how bad it was with the Geostigma...But he managed to ignore the stomach until now. He was heading back to Midgar. He was in the land of Banora...It would be a while to get back to Edge. He would have to travel all night. He was eager to get back to Tifa. He was worried about her a lot. He even talked to her from time to time on this trip. And hoped that she was okay. He hated being apart from her. But he needed the money for the wedding. He was not going to ask his friends. His business was established well enough to pay for any thing.
All alone on the out skirts of Banora. Cloud was all alone. He hated being alone these days. He really had changed...Little did he know that that stomach ache meant some thing bad was about to happen....It was his J Cells telling him some thing...He had actually pulled over to the side of the road and huntched over on his bike as he hugged his stomach with his arms...A flash of that horrible night in the Realm of Darkness entered his mind then. He tried to block it out. But the sight of Sephiroth standing over him like that was hard to ignore...“You think you are strong? You were never anything more then the weak country boy you were when I first met you! You are weak…and I’ve become tired of you!” Cloud sighed just then...."Cloud...stop it....Just stop...."
He tried his best to block all that Sephiroth did and said....But those words stuck with him. It was as if Sephiroth knew Cloud better than his own mother had....And it was true...Cloud knew it was....It was all true...He let the J Cells just ache again in his stomach like a sword through his gut....His Mako Blue eyes, changed green and became more cat like! He shook his head slightly as to try and block the pain away...Again useless.....

Sephiroth
Sephiroth stood silently, his hair fluttered in the slight breeze, from his vantage point atop the hill he stood looking down on Banora. He held one of the dumbapples in his hand, and gazing at it, brought back memories of his previous friend, Genesis, as well as Angeal. They had been his good friends…but that was all past now. He had healed finally after his encounter in the Realm of Darkness, where he had suffered a few major wounds from Cloud and Zack’s swords. They had gotten lucky then, and had he just been left with one or the other, things would not have ended up the way they had. He snarled softly at the thought, before his eyes narrowed. They would both pay, but this time, things would be different.
His eyes skittered down the road that led into Banora. He had tracked Cloud for some time, following him, not only for this one day, but for days now. He was waiting for him to be completely alone, no one like Tifa or Zack to give him the lightness he needed to throw out the darkness! He thought bitterly about the only two that stood in his way. If they were gone, their lightness, then he could call Cloud to the darkness. His other friends, they didn’t have the light, or the relationship with Cloud to be able to give him that power, only those two. He had been thinking, all the while that he had been injured, about how he could possibly get him to make the transition to the dark side.
Nothing ordinary would work, and studying the possibilities, he had finally gotten the upper hand. Tifa…Cloud had asked her to marry him, and she had accepted. Zack dying, that had been a good idea, for Cloud would suffer greatly from that, but it might not be enough. Securing his fear for Tifa…now that was the break he had needed. He had been calling him, using the Jenova Cells which were in his body, and they were responding. They were becoming hyperactive inside his body, which he knew was giving Cloud pain.
Now, his green cat like eyes flashed as he stood staring at the man who had always stood in his way. Cloud Strife…he was nothing, a mere country boy, simply in the right place at the right time to get injected with Jenova Cells. His lip curled into a snarl once again, his eyes narrowed as he watched that man hunch over his bike in pain, clutching his stomach. A sadistic smile faded onto his face, his eyes glowed from Cells inside his own body. He was a god, the chosen one, and he would show that to Cloud. Dropping his hand, the dumbapple fell from his grip, hitting the ground and rolling down the hill, skittering as it hit debris along the way. Cloud would do that as well, his lightness would plummet down, so far into the darkness, nothing could make him recover. No one could help him come back after that, not Tifa, not Zack…no one, Cloud would be alone…his worst fear.
He knew Cloud well, he knew everything that would make Cloud fell emotional pain, to make him feel alone. Cloud’s worst fear, facing the darkness….alone. That was exactly what he would be, alone, no one to comfort him, no one to give him their light…just Cloud…and himself…he would make him feel pain, not physical, but emotional. His eyes followed his every movement, he could feel the Jenova cells going crazy In his system, it was from him controlling them, his nearness, set them off. Lifting his head, he watched the sun as It started to set, sending off a reddish hugh, night would fall soon enough.
Dropping his knees a little bit, he pushed off quickly, hovering in the sky, making his decent down toward the outskirts. Not making a sound, he quickly swept toward Cloud, his eyes hardened, almost insane. He didn’t make a sound as he flew down, dropping soundlessly by Cloud, no more then 30 feet from him. “hello Cloud…” He stood there, he didn’t have his masamune out, simply standing, slightly to the side, his head down, eyes slanted toward Cloud. "surprised to see me once again?"

What could this be? Of course that was a stupid question all together. Cloud knew what was causing his stomach pain. The J Cells. As he was still hunched over on his bike he hoped no one he knew would see him like this. But Zack did not know that he was even here and working....Wait yes he did. He called Zack before he left just to let Zack know he thought he was ready to work again. Apparently he wasn't...
The pain was increasing. It was bad...But he was trying to not let such a thing to bother him that much. He just kept reminding himself that he was stronger than this...He could over come any thing. Cloud had not known that Sephiroth had indeed been back...He thought that he and Zack trapped him the Realm of Darkness forever. Or that Sephiroth even knew about him and Tifa getting married. That's what scared him when he told every one at the bonfire party just a few weeks ago....
Cloud was scared that Sephiroth would use that against him as his tool to bring Cloud into Darkness again. He did it once already...There was a slight chance that he could manage it again. Seeing none of his followers to speak to or accompany him, Sephiroth was the one that was alone....So it was not a surprise that he was looking for more followers.....Soon then, the wind had changed, and it was getting close to night time. Damn Cloud hated traveling at night...But he had no choice if he wanted to get home to Tifa by morning....And he thought about calling her , letting her know that he would be late and to not except him any time soon....
After he did that, he told her those three little words again.....I love you....And hung up his phone.... “hello Cloud…” That was when all changed....Cloud looked up in surprise! To see Sephiroth standing to his side, his head turned towards Cloud....A chill went down his spine just then..... "surprised to see me once again?" "Surprised to see your ugly face? Hardly..." But he was....And this was was exactly what Cloud was scared of...None of his friends were here....He was a lone with the maniac!....

Sephiroth
Sephiroth stood, remaining still, facing away from Cloud, yet his green cat like eyes watched him. They were mere slits, intently watching him, the way a cat does a mouse. And just like a cat and mouse, Cloud was his pray, although in a different way, not simply to kill. But a cat, doesn’t just kill its prey, rather it plays with it, taunting, flipping it in the air. Sephiroth was going to do the same thing. He wasn’t going to simply kill, he was going to torment Cloud, torture his mind, until he wasn’t the same being. He would make him twisted, unable to reason…over come with darkness.
He had heard him speaking with Tifa, right before he himself had spoken. The sadistic smile never left his face, even his eyes showed their amusement. This was going to be fun, he was going to enjoy this. He might not have another chance like this one, so he was going to do it right this time. He had never accomplished getting Cloud to give up his Lightness and let himself fall, let the darkness consume him. He would get more power of the Jenova cells, Cloud was weak on the light side, but filled with darkness…now there would be a good ally.
He shook his head, a deep humorless chuckle came from his lips. Turning, his back was toward Cloud. He relaxed completely, his shoulders back, his hand was on the hilt of the Masamune. “You humans…you try to act tough when really you are weak, scared, confused. It is a defect with you that makes you so below the race of the Ancients, of Jenova. Your kind runs and hides…pathetic!”
Turning back around, his hair which had been over his shoulder, was now draped down his back. You could faintly see where Cloud’s blade had ran across his chest. It had healed, but it still reminded him of that time. It made him wrinkle his nose in disgust. He couldn’t believe that someone like Cloud could touch him at all, he had never been able to make him bleed previously. “Throwing insults when you are trying to regain your poise…simply pathetic…”
Taking a step toward him, he gazed into his eyes. “It is your eyes that give things away, be mindful of them…they betray your feelings! You might have another human fooled…but don’t ever forget Cloud, I see right through you!” The smirk told him that as well. “It’s the Jenova cells within you, they speak to me!” His arm lifted, the fading light of the sun hit them both. “I can feel what your thoughts dwell on…Tifa, that other lower life form that you claim to ‘love.’ But Cloud, you should know, puppets cannot feel anything…no love, no feelings!”
“You might have part of mother within you…but you are weak, not fit to carry her within you…you are nothing…nothing without your ‘friends’ here to back you up…but are they really your friends Cloud? Tifa…Zack…do they truly care about you? Or are they simply pretending? They are humans…they will go with the brightest star…and Cloud, that star isn’t going to be you forever! And when you aren’t the brightest star, then what? Will they abandon you…? Or have they already?”

“You humans…you try to act tough when really you are weak, scared, confused. It is a defect with you that makes you so below the race of the Ancients, of Jenova. Your kind runs and hides…pathetic!” Cloud never got off his bike. Until, Sephiroth walked towards him. And then Cloud got off. Not taking a chance he grabbed a piece of his sword. He was never easy around his worst enemy...
"Aerith was an Ancient! And yet you threw her aside like she was a mere human! Did you know she was an Ancient? I bet you didn't!! That's what separates you monsters from humans! You act before you think! You think about killing the weakest link! And then you dust your shoulders off as though it was a mere cocroach you had just killed!"
“Throwing insults when you are trying to regain your poise…simply pathetic…”
"I can think of some thing else that is pathetic! That scar on your chest! And came from a so called mere human! Pathetic! You call yourself a god but yet you bleed! Gods don't bleed Sephiroth! Humans do! And that's all you are!!"
“It is your eyes that give things away, be mindful of them…they betray your feelings! You might have another human fooled…but don’t ever forget Cloud, I see right through you!”
"Shut up! Just shut the hell up! I don't have time for your constant bickering!!"
Cloud had had enough! He backed up to his bike....And was ready to jump on and leave Sephiroth alone like he deserves! But then Sephiroth said this;
“I can feel what your thoughts dwell on…Tifa, that other lower life form that you claim to ‘love.’ But Cloud, you should know, puppets cannot feel anything…no love, no feelings!” Cloud snapped his head up to the man's eyes as he said Tifa's name! He....He knew? No...Cloud made Tifa promise to not tell any one that would seem uneasy to say of their enegagement....Or was he? Had some one leaked out and Sephiroth just happened to be right there listening...?
“You might have part of mother within you…but you are weak, not fit to carry her within you…you are nothing…nothing without your ‘friends’ here to back you up…but are they really your friends Cloud? Tifa…Zack…do they truly care about you? Or are they simply pretending? They are humans…they will go with the brightest star…and Cloud, that star isn’t going to be you forever! And when you aren’t the brightest star, then what? Will they abandon you…? Or have they already?”
"You lie!! I feel more than you ever had!! They....They do care about me....I...I know they do!! Zack...Shut up!!! He would never...."
Cloud looked down at his his eyes were off Sephiroth for a split second....Cloud then looked back up as Sephiroth raised his arm up to the sky and the sky itself was fading into the dark....Cloud had seent him do this once before....And that was when Cloud raised his own sword and rested it on his shoulder....Standing up right...Cloud would do what it took to protect his friends...Especially Tifa...How did Sephiroth know? How? Some thing was sticking with Cloud though.....Or have they already left him...? No...Damn that can't be true! Here was Cloud trying not to believe a word that Sephiroth was telling him....But it was hard not to hear what the sadistic man said was avoidable....Cloud eyed the scar again maybe....Just maybe there is a weak spot on Sephiroth Cloud had not yet found...
Cloud just stood a few feet away from his arch enemy....He really needed his friends help right now but he could not call because if he did, Sephiroth would attack....and Cloud was trying to avoid that as well...And since Sephiroth was again flash and blood this was gonna be harder than the last time...All Sephiroth did last time was use Kadaj's body and manifested out of it....To make himself known...But this too was some thing that scared Cloud...Sephiroth knew him....Probably everything! Even his past...Hell he did....On their last meet Sephiroth mentioned what a pathetic country boy he was....So yeah, Sephiroth knew everything....Not even Zack knew everything about Cloud...

Sephiroth
Sephiroth smirked when he mentioned Aerith. That woman…he shook his head and glowered. He had never liked her, and he liked her ability to hear the planet’s thoughts even less. “Aerith was human, or at least half, so you cannot classify her as a complete Ancient.” He actually smiled, one of no patience and dislike. “I know more about the Ancients and this world then you could ever hope to know. I killed Aerith so that she could not let loose her plan, she was useless except for that plan.” He cocked his eyebrow and shook his head. He watched him grab his own weapon and smirked. That was Cloud, always ancey, letting his nerves and emotions get tangled up and in his way. Sephiroth was the opposite, almost nothing unnerved him, he never let emotions get in the way. “I do not feel emotion when I kill because you are right, those that I kill are beneath me, pathetic cockroaches that need to be eliminated.” When Cloud made reference to his wound, his eyes narrowed, he snarled under his breath. “It won’t happen again, let me assure you of that! Humph, what do you know about gods? I am no human, do not group me in with you insects.”Cloud had shaken his cool for a moment, he hated him for it. His calm was never shaken, but that comment, about him being human, had made him cringe inside. How he hated them, their race was so beneath his own, they should be exterminated. When Cloud lashed out at him, he returned to his cool poised self. He loved to make others feel emotionally compromised, it gave him much pleasure. "I merely state facts, you are the one that argues with me.” His cold calculated eyes watched him back away, was Cloud going to try to escape? He could not, he could never run from his past…or the present… He had hit Cloud’s weakness when he made mention of Tifa, Cloud’s eyes were almost tortured as he searched his own. Sephiroth felt Cloud’s emotions run high, his heart beat fast. “Would I lie about them Cloud? I have always felt more then you, why? I am not a puppet like you, the Jenova cells in you make you a puppet to do Jenova’s will, and my own, so if anyone is lying it is you, you lie to yourself. Zack…? He would never…? What Cloud? What would he never do? He didn’t tell you...? I thought he would have….with you being best friends….” He was putting doubt in Cloud’s head. Zack told Cloud almost everything, but I he could get Cloud to doubt that Zack was actually a friend, or any of the rest, then it would be easier to get Cloud to turn to the darkness. He watched him put the sword on his shoulders. Sometimes it seemed like Cloud was confident in himself, and in the next second, his eyes would waver. He let his hand fall and smiled evilly. “Cloud….if they truly cared about you…why aren’t they here…?” He cocked his head and lifted his eyes to meet Cloud’s. “I just do not know why Zack didn’t tell you…” Hiding the smirk behind his emotionless face, his green eyes flashed. He would torment Cloud, fill him with doubt, and when his defenses were low, he would strike, and then, Cloud would truly be his puppet…

"Tell me what?!!! Zack never hid any thing from me! He's my best friend! I don't know what you are trying to make me believe but it won't work!! Your words no longer scare me Sephiroth...!!" But they did. And Sephiroth would see right through him as he always does. Cloud deep down was scared. He wanted his friends here more than any thing now. He wanted to run away from Sephiroth and just forget about him...But some thing was making him stay put...Was it the J Cells? Cloud was not sure about them any more....
"I'm not the one lying you are! I in one time in my life wanted to be just like you....But now...I so don't want to be like you!! You can rot in hell for all I care!! This is over between us!! I'm tired of the constant torture that you have fun with!"With that Cloud started to walk away and get on his bike..... "I'm getting on my bike and for once running away from who I should run away from!! YOU!!!" He was so close to his bike then....He had no idea what would hit him next....He was worried about Zack...Where was he any way? Why did Sephiroth say that to him? What would Zack be hiding from him?

He was here for one reason only. To make sure Zack Fair does not find Cloud. So Sephiroth can do his handy work on Cloud. He knew that Zack was in the area too. But how to get the man's attention? He knew the perfect plan too. Destroy things!! So the first thing Yazoo did was walk into a convenient store and started swiping things off the shelves with his arms!! "Hey!! You can't do that!!" And in an instant Yazoo pulled out his gun and blasted the sales clerk in the stomach with it!! Killing him instantly! Yazoo had no feeling for these pathetic humans that were trying to make a living off a burned waste land.....
After he trashed the store he walked out with a can of alcohol...in his hand drinking it....People around him started screaming! And he saw a woman trying to run away from him and he blasted her in the back! She fell down dead on the side walk! He threw the bottle into the store then and pointed his gun at the bottle blasting it!! And making the store blow up!! If that didn't get any ones attention what would?! Yazoo walked slowly away from the burning building...Glass was shattering in the sore too....All Yazoo had to do was wait.....He was probably more devious now than when he was alive before....

Sephiroth
Sephiroth smirked, smugly, his eyes on Cloud’s. “Oh, it must not be something for your own ears if he has hidden it from you for so long…” He hated them all, they would burn, he would make them feel the pain he had held in his body for so long. He turned away and watched the sun sink some more, soon, the light of this world would forever be gone, forgotten….darkness. He hated lightness, it was a plague, something he would soon rid this miserable planet off. When he used it to find a different world, and all the inhabitants would be dead, gone…and then, he would finally be content.
“Is he Cloud…? What does Zack really want from you? Ahh Cloud, if only you knew everything, all the things that are always so hidden…then you would finally understand!” He turned his head, glancing over his shoulder at his arch enemy. “Humph, why do you lie? My words, they will always haunt you, always scare you…you cannot always run Cloud, your memories, your past, your darkness, it will always be there. You can never hide from it Cloud!”
He watched him from over his shoulder, his arm, was raised away from his body, toward the setting sun. “Just like the sun, which fades ever night, so too your light, it will fade, and Cloud, one day, it will never rise again!” He smiled then, Cloud so desperately wanted to run…so why didn’t he? Fear? False courage? Puppets…they always thought themselves real, when really they were nothing more then empty shells. He hated them all, they were all beneath him.
He laughed without amusement when Cloud started yelling at him. It was a hard, cold laugh, it would grate on the nerves of most. His eyes sought him out, burning. “Cloud, you are not like me, if you were like me you wouldn’t be weak!” His voice reached Cloud’s ears, “Give yourself fully to Jenova, the darkness, and then Cloud, you will be powerful, you won’t be simply the puppet you are at the moment!” He didn’t look at him then. “But the choice is yours, stay where you are, with your so called ‘friends’ who hide things from you every moment. Or…you can chose the path I did, which will only give you more power!”
He shrugged a little bit, “But is it really a choice Cloud?” Turning around, his gaze caught that of Cloud’s as he walked toward his bike. “No matter what you think Cloud, you will never let go of the darkness that you try so hard to hide within you!” His hair caught the last rays of light. “Why fight it Cloud, what do you have to loose coming over to the side you belong on?” he chuckled again, still with no amusement or emotion. “Go on Cloud, keep running, you’ll never be rid of the past….or the future, no matter how fast you run, it will always catch up to you!” If Cloud made a move to escape, Sephiroth would attack, using every magic he had, every attack he could muster. No matter how Strong Cloud was, or thought himself to be, He wouldn’t make it very far.

Zack Fair
Zack drove along on his new bike. He thought to himself as he drove. His thoughts lay on Sephiroth, as well as Genesis. He had thought that He and Cloud had sent Sephiroth away for good, but something told him that wasn’t the case. Sephiroth had said that he would never become a memory, and Zack believed that. Sephiroth…no one knew his full power, every time he went back into the lifestream he became stronger. He learned new magics, new abilities, and Zack didn’t like it, not at all.
They had defeated him last time, but could they do it again? It had been a long battle, and he had wondered if they would win. It had been a large struggle, but they finally had done it! It had taken Cloud as well as himself to pull it off, Sephiroth had pulled out attacks Zack had never seen him use. He didn’t like not knowing the moves of the enemy, especially one as powerful as Sephiroth. Yet they had pulled it off, hard yes, a long battle yes, but they had done it!
Now he yawned before opening his eyes wide. Since that day he hadn’t really fought anything. His huge buster sword hung on his back, he could feel its weight. It felt good to have it there, to be able to breath, to smell, to touch. It felt good to be alive once again! He liked the feel of the wind touching his face, rustling his hair. The sun shining on his skin, it made him smile. He also found that he hadn’t lost his edge. After he had come back to life, picking up the sword and fighting had come back naturally!
His eyes suddenly looked up as he heard screaming. “Damn, what now?!” He had heard it behind him. Grabbing the brake, he braked before swinging the bike back around. He sped through the streets, following the screaming. He braked hard as he saw a woman lying down, dead on the sidewalk. He stopped the bike and got off. He set the pedal down, before getting off. He readjusted the buster sword on his back before kneeling down by the woman. He felt for a pulse….nothing. “Damn!” he muttered again. Setting her back down, he straitened up to his full height. What the hell was this?!
He straitened his shoulders, before starting to run after the noise of glass shattering. He ran fast, leaving his bike behind. When he got to the sight of a burning building, he started forward. Suddenly it blew up, Zack drew back, smoke filling the area. His blue eyes turned to a silver haired figure walking away from the building. “Sephiroth?!” He shouted, calling to the figure. From the back it sure looked like him. Long silver hair, but the outfit was different. No masamune in sight, this couldn’t be Sephiroth, instead a gun was held in the hands of this man.
No matter if this was Sephiroth or not, he had to be stopped. Running toward the figure, his hand reached back, tightening around the buster sword and bringing it out. This wasn’t going to go on! He wouldn’t allow it! His eyes narrowed slightly, who was this anyway if it wasn’t Sephiroth. He had never known the 1st class Ex SOLDIER to ever carry a weapon other then the famous masamune, so this had to be someone else.

“Oh, it must not be something for your own ears if he has hidden it from you for so long…”
“Is he Cloud…? What does Zack really want from you? Ahh Cloud, if only you knew everything, all the things that are always so hidden…then you would finally understand!”
Cloud slumped his head downward. No. "It's not true Cloud. Just don't even listen. Zack would never keep any thing from me..." Cloud tried as hard as he could to not pay attention to Sephiroth's ranting on about what Zack might or might not be hiding from him....
“Humph, why do you lie? My words, they will always haunt you, always scare you…you cannot always run Cloud, your memories, your past, your darkness, it will always be there. You can never hide from it Cloud!” That was true. Still with his head lowered, Cloud could not ignore that. He's tried running away from everything. And they only find him again. "Shut up!" He ordered again! But again Sephiroth did not listen......
“Just like the sun, which fades ever night, so too your light, it will fade, and Cloud, one day, it will never rise again!”
“Cloud, you are not like me, if you were like me you wouldn’t be weak!” "If that is some thing you wanna believe!!"
“Give yourself fully to Jenova, the darkness, and then Cloud, you will be powerful, you won’t be simply the puppet you are at the moment!” "I...I can't!! Tifa.....She's the one I care about! She's my way through this dark world!! I promised I'd never leave her!!!"
“But is it really a choice Cloud?”
“No matter what you think Cloud, you will never let go of the darkness that you try so hard to hide within you!”
“Why fight it Cloud, what do you have to loose coming over to the side you belong on?” No...He didn't belong over to the Darkness...He was not like Sephiroth!
“Go on Cloud, keep running, you’ll never be rid of the past….or the future, no matter how fast you run, it will always catch up to you!” "And how can I know for sure what would happen if I ever gave in to the J Cells? Answer me that! What would happen to Tifa?! Zack!! All my other friends!! I'm sorry I made Tifa a promise Sephiroth! You'll just have to force me or kill me!! Either way, I'm out of here!! Good rid-dens!!!" Cloud grab his bike handle and started to get on it....and then it hit him harder than before! The J Cells....It hit him so hard he was forced on his knees then....He shook his head to get the pain to go away!! Why after all this time have the J Cells bothered him so badly like this? Was it because Jenova was returning agian?!
All thoughts raced through his mind! The possibilities...This could even be true with the Zack thing....Was Zack basically trying to stay away from Cloud because he was weaker than Zack? Or was Zack scared that Cloud could actually get stronger than him...And go completely insane? All that Sephiroth said could be true after all...Sephiroth could always see right through Cloud too. And Cloud hated that about himself!! He was so damned transparent to Sephiroth! If he did not let his emotions get in the way then maybe Sephiroth could not read his mind! Cloud had not known either that Sephiroth was getting ready to attack if Cloud had a chance to even leave! But the pain was finally soothed down on Cloud....And this was his chance! He wanted to at least call Zack or Tifa for help! And he at once grabbed his cell phone! That was hanging off his bike....And hit the speed dial to Zack!

“Sephiroth?!” Yazoo knew that this would draw Zack to this area...And he simply eyed Zack out of the corner of his eye and smirked. "HMPH..." That evil look was enough to send any one's spine up to a shiver point! And then Yazoo would have to play harder! He never pointed his gun at Zack either...Yazoo's bike was parked across the street. But then out of the corner of his eye he saw another target...A little girl with long black wavy hair. He cut his eyes at his victim and then back at Zack...Fast reflexes caused Yazoo to throw a dagger at the girl's heart! But Yazoo knew how soft hearted Zack was! He'd take this opportunity to save that pathetic humans life before rushing after Yazoo! And that was Yazoo get away card! As he leaped high in the air then and landed softly on his bike's seat! And revved it up and spun the opposite way on the front wheel! He was trying to lure Zack away from the scene and far away from Cloud....
Yazoo had no mercy on humans...Simply because he was not human. He was a lower level as Sephiroth was. Hell he even looked like Sephiroth. But he was just as devilish. Yazoo would kill a pregnant woman! That's how devious he was! Not a care in the world again for pathetic humans! He plain out hated their race! And now with Sephiroth on his side, he would have a better chance at finding his brothers he's lost. Yazoo did admit to himself though, he would have a better chance at fighting Zack with his other brothers back by his side. But this was just so fun! He was consumed with Dark happiness that he knew this plan of his would work...And pretty soon he would have a new brother on his and Sephiroth's side...Cloud Strife.

Sephiroth
Sephiroth smirked as Cloud’s head slumped downward. He crossed his arm and a soft chuckle erupted from his lips. He wondered why Cloud always tried attacking him with words, why he always burst out at him. It didn’t help, but he did not understand the logic of a puppet, or a human, and Cloud was both. He crossed his arms and observed him, standing there, trying so hard to ignore what he said, but thinking about it so hard in his mind.
He only smiled still when Cloud told him that he could not. “Tifa, you say that you care for her? You promise you will never leave her…but does she feel the same way?” He loved torturing Cloud, it was so easy for him to do, knowing everything about him. “I will say this only once, so listen carefully, Tifa, I will destroy her if you do not give yourself to the darkness! She will be crushed, in ways that you cannot help her! You will not be able to save her Cloud, that I will make sure of!”
He smiled once again at Cloud’s outburst. Cloud was yelling at him more and more, was that a sign of indecision? He shook his head. “You do not know exactly what would happen Cloud, but it will give you power, you will not be weak as you are now!” When Cloud told him that he would have to force him, he rested his hand on the masamune handle, pulling it out. He watched as Cloud pulled out his cell phone.
His eyes narrowed, he could not let him get ahold of Zack, and yet, he trusted that Yazoo had Zack too busy to answer a phone call. He stood there for a moment, waiting to see if Cloud would be disappointed that Zack hadn’t answered his phone, or if he started talking. If he got Zack, then he would attack him, After some waiting, he didn’t think Zack would answer. He smiled, Yazoo must be keeping Zack occupied well! He held the masamune, his green eyes glinted. “You leave me no choice Cloud!” He walked toward him, “Now shall we fight? Or do you wish to accept the fact that your friends do not care for you and give yourself to the darkness?” He waited, whatever Cloud’s choice now, ultimately would lead to the same choice, giving himself to the darkness….

Zack Fair
Zack stood, watching this man. It wasn’t Sephiroth, he would have acted differently if it was. He didn’t like the look this guy gave him, narrowing his eyes, he waited for him to do something. This man defiantly wasn’t Sephiroth, but then, why did he look so much like him? He didn’t like not knowing what, or who this man was. He had a gun but he didn’t point it at Zack. He waited for him to attack him, but suddenly, he noticed that his eyes strayed away from him.
This man moved, and Zack saw the little girl at the same time this unknown man threw something at her. “NO!!” He yelled as he threw the dagger at the innocent little girl. He took a running leap to put himself in the way of the dagger. Pulling the buster sword up, he deflected the dagger. The little girl had started to sob. Zack knelt down beside her, hoping that she was alright and that the man hadn’t thrown another dagger, which had hit her. Her mom came running toward them as he asked her, “Are you alright?” she nodded as her mother scooped her up in her arms.
He turned and looked around, only to see the man going fast in the opposite direction on his bike. “Damn!” he spoke to himself. He didn’t hear his cell going off with the activity around him. People yelled, a few buildings around him still burned, he couldn’t hear a thing! Jumping on his own bike, he revved up his own engine and raced after the man. Whoever he was, he was going to answer for what he had just done. He wondered where the heck he was going, and pushing his own new bike, he started gaining on the silver haired man…a little bit at a time…

Cloud continued to speed dial Zack. But no such luck came. Cloud's own heart was breaking. Not just emotionally but physically as well. He was trying. He really was. But what Sephiroth was saying was hard to ignore. "Stop talking about Tifa that way!!" And there it was....Blackmail....So that's all Sephiroth wanted? Was for Cloud to give into the Darkness? If it means keeping Tifa and his friends safe....
But then again how could he even come up with such a crazy notion...? No...He couldn't! But the J Cells were eating him alive. Cloud never looked up at Sephiroth. For if he did, his worst enemy would see the pain in his eyes. And that was what he knew Sephiroth longed to see.
"You're really asking for it aren't you?!" Cloud replied with more anger than control...It was indeed the J Cells speaking. Not him. Cloud simply scoffed when Sephiroth explained that the Darkness would give him more power....Cloud could hear Sephiroth walk closer and closer to him. As Sephiroth talked about fighting...Fighting? He wanted to fight for this?
"Then...It seems I have no choice!" That was when Cloud grabbed his swords' handle in his hand and jumped right up on his feet! He was not going down with out a fight! All that Sephiroth said just made him want to fight! The anger was boiling inside Cloud right now! And that was when Cloud started to strike Sephiroth's own sword!
