Lightning did smile at everyone there but once she saw Snow that smile turned to a frown why was he even there? To spend time with Serah she couldn’t allow that. ‘He is just a worthless unemployed man…. Serah could do better than that someone who can protect her and Snow is not capable of that.’
Those wore the words she repeated to herself every time Serah or anyone tried to change her opinion about Snow. How could she accept him when every action he did irritated her and always provoked her to punch him? At times she held that anger in but on other days she took it out on him with a punch to the face.
Turning she ignored his presence. Lightning didn’t come all this way for a fight, but to enjoy her time and relax from all the combats she engaged with the PSICOM back in Cocoon. She did bring her weapon Blaze Edge but wasn’t planning to use it unless necessary. She actually grew quite attached to it. It was especially designed for her by the Sanctum once she reached a high rank. A weapon combining both a gun and a blade and can easily transform between both, a perfect weapon to her.
At least she wasn’t the only one carrying a weapon Lightning thought, but she was the only one not dressed for this occasion wearing her normal clothes while others came in swimsuits. Lightning didn’t mind though these clothes were what she felt comfortable in she preferred them over anything else and was sure she wouldn’t feel the same wearing a swimsuit.
"Another surprise… it’s good to see you again" She replied to Noctis pausing for a minute to form a small smile but visible smile on her lips. Out of all she met before Noctis was the one she came to trust easily. Was it because they shared something’s in common or both had their fates connected to crystals? Or perhaps there was another reason but she didn’t dwell on that thought for long.
Glancing around, she spotted Stella arriving on the shore of the island. Lightning only knew her name and not much detail. Something seemed different about her or maybe this was how she was. From their brief encounter she couldn’t really tell much about her and only learned of her name.
"Serah…." Lightning glazed into her sisters pleading eyes asking her just for one day with Snow without a fight. She sighed why did it have to be him why couldn’t it be anyone else. She would accept it if it was with someone she could rely on to protect Serah but Snow…. He just wouldn’t be able to handle the responsibility all he did was waste time playing hero instead of finding a real job and follow the rules like everyone else. Serah might find him interesting but she didn’t. No matter what Serah or anyone said about Snow she wasn’t going to change her opinion about him she wasn’t going to accept him.
Glancing around the island it seemed peaceful and safe nothing to worry about she hoped giving in to her sister’s request. 'One day wouldn’t hurt… but just for one day.' With that Lightning turned to stare at Snow warning him if he as much as got Serah hurt she wouldn’t ever forgive him for that.
Alexander landed on the island which only meant Hope was there. Turning to see him she smiled walking up to where he stood. "You okay?" She asked placing a hand on his shoulder. When she first met him Lightning disliked the fact of protect him while fighting off the Sanctum but with time she starts to care regarding him as a younger brother, even trusting him more than the others and gave him an equal chance to fight.

Hope heard the whole hint thing Snow told Serah, it was not missable even from the distance and he wondered how Lightning was going to take it but if she did with a smile, then he would too just for today. His eyes went squint with his mouth a wave pressed together to explain the lameness of Snow's words to Serah, which was a fitting expression to mask how odd he felt as a child amongst grown fighters. The sand had felt a bit heavy as he tried to sift it off his feet with every new step he took; Alexander had parked itself where the sand was softest because it was furthest from the seawater that dampened it to make the texture like flat ground nearer to the shore.
Now that Snow was smiling at him and talking as he closed the gap between him and the man he borderline hated, it felt as though he was walking in superglue because of how painstaking it was to get closer and prepare himself. Kicking some sand up like dust as he walked, he was both happy and unhappy watching with an eagle eye on Snow in his so-called manly image which some women might fawn over but he just never pictured Serah to be in love with him. The guy was butch and physically strong enough to lift him at any point but he was the softest of the soft to Serah and it made Hope a little nauseous to watch; he was too young to tolerate a love beside his family's in Snow's obsessive way and it was sickening to be forced to accept the display sometimes.
Being against public displays of affection at this age, he was also against the open 'in love' act that gagged him because Serah reciprocated and he and Lightning stood aside to fume; Hope did wonder why though, that the sister's were so different and he wanted to say how Snow and Serah didn't match up but at the same time, did. He sighed deeply in exaggeration because Snow would see it and understand what he was doing; playing the attitude game, his outward indifference or annoyance towards the man was referred a little by the plastered smile. It made him pressured to do the same, smile... so that he showed sportsmanship on a day meant for fun; the displeasure marking him wobbled into a quick thin line on his lips as he gave Snow a noncommitted smile that was a snap on and off.
Just what did Snow ask him about Alexander, his eyes were semi rolling and tempted to go the whole round, the man had eyes to see Serah even in the back of his head and Alexander was a giant that made a ruckus wherever it went, how could he miss it. Furthermore, he was quite annoyed being left alone with Alexander as his only mode of transport but he supposed it wasn't entirely Vanille, Fang's or Snow's fault though he put all doubt on the blonde man whose long hair flopped loosely. Through the eyes of Hope, Snow was extremely peculiar, like a creature he failed to understand and was torn between wanting to and not; he had to wait it out before he was sure he wanted to trust him. "Yea... Ok Snow... I didn't know I was even coming here." Both the truth and cold suggestive blame, he quickly shook his head and glanced at Serah then Cloud who kissed her hand; he almost smirked from the sight because it was funny that Snow wasn't as smooth.
In the end, he stood grinning and trying to force it down. That was forcing it down until he realised Lightning was smiling from beginning to end, and it went into a faint pout; he had seen her opposite of Noctis earlier before the man somehow popped to be with another woman who almost fell over. Hope was confused, having never seen this type of magic, he was curious as to why Lightning, his other big sister was so nice to the man yet, now he saw that maybe they were en par with each other in fighting abilities so respect was natural; he had doubted Noctis all along when he'd spied on him in Cocoon because he didn't know him and Lightning didn't treat him like trash. Hope wholeheartedly agreed that she should if he was unworthy but that was pride tickling him; this Noctis was very awkward to him, especially around Lightning. Now that he had more people's interactions to compare to, he could see out of some attention seeking jealousy that the man lost some intimidation when he faced Lightning; and intimidation was something Hope was breathing a lot of so he knew where Noctis was coming from, acting the way he was with Lightning. Things like this made him sensitive, Hope was provoked that he would have to step aside in Lightning's company if Noctis was someone like Snow, but he doubted it from the way he looked.
Some respect was right because Snow wasn't able to do anything like that and Hope was indecently happy now that protecting his mother was over, what mattered if the man got stronger? It would only anger him more if Snow had been strong in the first place but he wasn't giving the man enough credit like he should; he had been useless before anyone else was to protect his own mother.
"Yes I am... it was just that Alexander took ages... and Snow was talking about something." Hope looked up at Lightning with more of a smile than he'd shown anyone except Tifa and possibly Cloud, in response as she placed a hand on his shoulder. "I thought you wouldn't be here... that would have been quite ...bad." He spoke honestly, thinking about how much torture it would be to endure Snow without Lightning to empower sensible behaviour into him so he wasn't too rude; Tifa had Cloud and he would be lonesome even if everyone did what was best for him. Certain she would read through him, when his words went up and down in tone with his feelings, he took off his gloves and started stuffing them in his little bag.

"Well....." Tifa paused looking down at her ring as she smiled. Everyone was there and this might be a good time to tell them of their engagement. "I think its time to tell them we have both waited long enough." She smiled brighter than ever as she gazed into his mako blue eyes. She was ready to tell everyone of the good news, she couldn't wait actually.
Turning back to the others when Lightning introduced Serah she smiled at them both. "So your Serah....... I head alot about you from Lightning its nice to finally meet you." She said stretching her hand to shake hers. Some one else arrived and Tifa smiled again waving back as Hope came to view. "I am glad you can make it...... and you came just in time" She said walking over to him with a smile. She paused thinking of the best way to ask Lightning to change..... everyone else was dressed for the occasion except for her and she also brought her gunblade with her.

"Stella... wh-... you're early... " Stella fell into his arms. Regardless what the others thought. Meaning Storm....She knew that Storm still had his doubts about her. But today weren't they to just relax and unwind? At least that's was the impression Stella got...."I was right to think you'd definitely find the portal... I didn't want to wake you but I trust you had a good sleep then...?" "I did sleep well....Th...Thank you..."Stella responded a bit stumbly as he held her in his firm grip but she let go of him at once....As sorta shyed way. "There are people you should meet..." She was eager to know everyone here....She was a bit shy though. Would they welcome some one so dark as her into their band of heroes...? She was trying to change but it never left her mind as to what she was destined to be.....And now here she was being introduced to famous heroes of other worlds.....A sigh let out of her perfect lips as she looked down.... "Please.....Don't tell any one here what I am.....They would not understand..." She wanted for once to be some one no one feared....And she knew no one here but Storm and Noctis...She remained shyly by his side....But she was trying to get out of that shy habit she had....When she first showed it it was towards Noctis....And now she was showing it more often....

Zack Fair
Zack grinned, his eyes twinkled when she told him he looked good. “I was hoping you would say that…doing a million squats a day…” Shaking his head, he chuckled. His friends told him he did way to many squats, but he couldn’t help that he enjoyed doing them. Blue eyes sparkled, he hoped she had always thought he looked good, from her words, that seemed to be what she had thought. He could never be sure, and right now, he couldn’t see her eyes, which helped him sometimes to know what she was thinking. He failed that anyway, he didn’t need any extra help not knowing what she was thinking. He wished he could see her eyes, but driving the bike he couldn’t exactly look behind him and stare into her eyes. He liked looking into her eyes, their hazel color changed a little bit sometimes, when her eyes softened or she was happy, he liked it!
He couldn’t see the blush that had crept up on her face, or the look in her eyes, it was somewhat awkward because of it too. He didn’t like being awkward, but it happened a lot more recently, more when he was around Cissnei then anything else. He didn’t know what to say sometimes, it had been like when he had talked to Tifa and all he could think about was the fact that she had hated him the last time he had been around her. It was a little of that tension now, how was he supposed to tell her what he felt? It was so complex, he wished it could all be more simple, because he could never read her. If he could just figure out if she felt anything for him, it would be all the easier. The only thing he had for knowledge about her thoughts toward him was the fact that she had been in his old fan club…but that wasn’t much to go on…
a problem with me? His eyebrows scrunched together, he wished yet again he could see her face, not just simply hear her voice. His heart rate accelerated, probably because things were a problem…such as his feelings for her, so hidden, for so long now. Yet, even though it was a problem, he didn’t show it, it wasn’t in his personality to stay depressed or be withdrawn just because he had a problem with something. He didn’t know how to answer her…maybe…he should just tell her that he had a problem, that it was his feelings for her…
He decided against it, he was suddenly shy to tell her, as he always was. Cissnei made him feel awkward, he didn’t ever know what to say, “Things are problems with me…but If I chose to be down in the dumps just because something is a problem…well that would be pretty boring wouldn’t it be?” When she stepped off the bike, he glanced around. Grinning, he shook his head, “Five years? Wow Cissnei, that’s a long time, you didn’t get any time off since that time in casa de sol?” He smiled, “Well then we’re just going to have twice the amount of fun today huh?”
When she took his hand, his heart skipped a beat, his eyes twinkled and the palm of his hand tingled. He closed his fingers around her hand, before suddenly laughing at her words. He shook his head and put his hand over his mouth in amusement. “You love to tease me about that don’t you!” He grinned at her, now he was relaxed again. “you haven’t forgotten anything have you!” Remembering how he used to do squats all the time…and still did, it was funny that she would tease him about it. “Hey, you wanna meet some people? Or would you rather hang out with just me? The awesome man that I am!” He grinned at her, his voice teasing her. “Cloud is here…the other test subject, and plenty more people I invited!” The pressure on her hand was gentle, his eyes teased her to have fun. He thought about the fireworks Snow had brought and smiled, “Do you like fireworks Cissnei?”

Post by Noctis Lucis Caelum on Jan 31, 2010 15:12:36 GMT -5
So abruptly, his haze had ended... but why did he have to snap out of it... let it die...? Undone inside, the entrancements were frequenting visitors, counseling him to take him away and stand somewhere along a peripheral boundary of his feelings. His spirits were higher, and uplifted more than he believed they could be so easily; he was not with Storm every second of his words, his jest... but the laughter, and everything his best friends did were all cherished. They were deeds that made up the more valuable episodes of his life. No matter what they couldn't see, they tried to make sense of who he was. With each try, he would be increasingly relieved... to walk out of the meteor garden he was designated to be, restricted from thinking he could do it on his own. The memories of their times, as much as he could attempt... how could he forget?
With his back turned, he had heard the shout to Stella and looked at the sand to see those splattered drips of beer. A thousand miles from home, from anywhere he could be... he was a victim to the depth of their bonds; it was something that happened which could not unhappen and would remain by him, finally... without angst... without doubt and fear. He said he would look out for their lives, those words sounded about as promising as a formal pact... but he knew, as far as he could go with them, and be here to stay again with them, he would... find everything he thought he'd lost before. It would let him be the one to try so much harder, for them, for the broken mess he found himself to be at times, even if he was in pieces with emotion, to be mended.
The curled grip around Stella's thin wrist, loosened as he realised how she had spurned his contact just as fire would burn him when he felt her bare skin. It spit flames to be avoided but he held onto her as he took the steps that seemed to have slowed by leagues, in his mind, towards the rest of the group. He was mesmerised by something blind to the naked eye, as the revving of Zack's bike drew him away from that sensitivity while he was with her, and the bubbling of his engine muffled out his hearing in the distance as salt water splashed. The little guitar strums of his passivity brought him to watch everyone from another plane, and he reflected on what he was fated to do here, never expecting to feel this way... just which way was it...? His smile slipped and the exposed skin tingled with the heat that contributed to numbing him.
Noctis was thrust forward and nearly jerked Stella in tow. He stared into complete space as the loop of Storm's arm went around his neck and forced him into a lock. Earlier, he had prepared himself but the man was good at being random, he couldn't fight it; it was a fact. The iris speckled blue and gold with the mixed beating of his surprised heart and the colours flickered to Storm's face, after a couple of dramatic seconds. Every time, he tensed when this happened or if Storm wanted to prank him. The widened eyes from stupor, increased in size as he straightened from a quick release; he was noticing the missing presence of Storm's shotgun and it was as though something had been carved from his hand when it was gone. Switching his gaze from the blue ocean, to the pitched tent, he didn't know whether to believe what he was seeing or congratulate Storm from parting with his obsession as it was a world record.
His lead on Stella followed Storm's backwards trot, making sure of the amount of effort it would take to convince him to jump in there, despite it's soothing quality. When he looked at his friend's face, and surveyed ahead to see the faces of others he cared about, he found a different home; the home he wanted to be at, without mention. To both things, he shook his head gently at Storm. It was a sure shot that the playful smirk would be extremed if he agreed to join the floundering in water. The invitation to cooling down was tempting... and declined. He was clueless with the choice Stella would make to that suggestion, but she could go ahead with Storm if she liked and he was going to get some shade to watch; it was his solemn happiness, and the darkness of his clothes had soaked heat like no other dye. After all, he could see the delight on Serah's face when she met Snow, and the man's returned affection; people were comfortably relaxed and musing was his form, it absorbed theirs as he had no means to formulate his own so well.
Another boy, he estimated to be an early teen, with pale blonde and silver hair, caught his attention for his unfamiliarity with this invitee. What was different about this kid, Noctis saw, was the expression he showed to Snow; it resembled the loathing he had seen on Lightning's when they were at Cocoon but he rested the case to be just as personal as hers. They were all exchanging introductions. His instinct was to discount himself, but he heard, as he forced Stella to them so that she may share true friends, that the boy's name was Hope. It was a name, a word, just... something that struck him... and he couldn't help but be attracted by curiousity to why Tifa seemed so close to Hope too. A pun, he had not intended, caused him to exhale, a little lighter than what would make a sigh as Cloud's charming exchange with Serah happened; everyone had their stories to tell but they could change, and was it ...beautiful?
What Lightning had said, was how he felt, surprised to see her again so soon ...with her smile... and the goodness from it ... Decisions prompted him to throw away adulations like his confusion before it could manifest. For every once in awhile, he had streams of frustration over her and Stella and himself to the point he literally began despising how he could think, how he could feel and needed sanctuary more often than not; that was to sit on his throne, in the centre of his acropolis and mourn the loss of his righteousness. In no way had he meant for himself to be entangled and entrapped but he simply was and so was Stella as far as he was afraid and cautious that she would be, by any pain, he hoped to be the one to master an escape to free hearts. Stella's plea to be someone different to his friends, was an honoured one. Noctis couldn't understand why she labeled herself when however he looked at her, she was not what she claimed she was, the antagonising character, to him, in all of their problems. His demeanour brightened then, as he spoke now that they were close enough to the rest; Tifa gave him a heads up... and he wondered if he was really correct that she might announce something to them about her relationship with Cloud, as he had wanted to share with Zack in the instance it was the engagement. The wonder fluttered away, with Storm acting so clownish to him, he had believed he might walk into someone the way he was tramping backwards and he'd almost reached out to stop his friend from smacking into something.
"Tifa... Cloud... Lightning... this is Stella..." The pull on her, tenderly ended and his hand was brought back to his side, without hers. The address was to everyone there, even if he didn't want to list every single name... he was already speaking more than he did normally, and every word was supposed to count to some goal... "She is a... dear friend of mine... and Storm's..." As much as he had lost along the way, social etiquette when he wasn't alone was not entirely gone, he was only artless with what he would want her to be accepted as to them... because that had never been clarified. He was trying like he came to them in pieces so that they could make him whole... Storm could argue.
Noctis bowed his head slightly, and glanced at Stella before looking up to see Zack's return, with a copper haired woman holding his hand; he was right with the polygons but it was as though sweet ardour filled the air he choked with... yet, he was remiss with that sweetness too. It was sugar glass... His sins and his blame, they were parts never forgiven... he hung, over... Taking a pace back incidentally, the lids of his eyes drooped... and down cast, his gaze fell to the near ground. They often... called his name... gluing his pieces... whenever they saw his face... as he did theirs, giving himself away... He smiled ...at the everything this family meant to him now... the unhappened, had chances of happening... and, his quests were done... almost... because, it was beautiful to know ... more than the journey's losses... He had found more than an answer to dream.

Serah smiled at Cloud and Tifa and everyone around her as she greeted them. She remembered them from Lightning's words and knew who they were even when they never met and it seemed they knew her the same way.
"Lightning....." Serah couldn't believe it what Lightning said did she just agree to let her at least spend one day with Snow without fighting? "Thank you" The smile spread across her face as she hugged her sister before running to Snow. "She said yes..... for one day she would accept us together and not do anything to try and separate us....."
Serah chuckled as she held Snow's hand in hers and listened to his words. "Something that reminds you of me.... could that be fireworks?" She asked remembering his words on the day of the firework festival in Cocoon about how fireworks seemed to remind him of her.
Serah smiled a lot more whenever Snow was around, she loved him and wanted more than anything to spend forever with him. Snow was everything to her, she couldn't imagine her life without him, and was determined to find a way to show that to Lightning and Hope. How amazing Snow was and maybe then she could get them to accept him.

((This is kinda hard for me to keep up guys but I'm trying^^ Maybe we need a post turn thing^^ XD ))
"Well....."
"I think its time to tell them we have both waited long enough." Cloud did a up jump on his feet after he laid down on the towel. He was wearing his swimming shorts that were dark blue with a few Hawaiian looking flowers on them....And his flip flops....He was really lossing up...All his closest friends would see that as well.....He joined Tifa and wrapped his arms around her shoulder as she introduced herself to Hope and Serah....Cloud was actually happy...And not shying away from the crowd....He was trying.... "Good! Then we'll make it known soon" Cloud said as he held her close.....
"So your Serah....... I head alot about you from Lightning its nice to finally meet you."
"I am glad you can make it...... and you came just in time."
Cloud knew these were all considered his friends....He would not be bothered what he was today....((Having J Cells really made him out of the loop of friends....But Zack seemed to not mind that he had them too....)) No one needed to know the true Cloud Strife yet....No one here any way....This was a good day for him to just act like one of the guys....
"Tifa... Cloud... Lightning... this is Stella..." Cloud turned away when Noct introduced some one that Cloud had never seen. A beautiful young girl named Stella? The question going in Clouds mind now was that , was she Noct's girl? He did not mention her in the Realm of Darkness before when Cloud first met him....."I'm pleased to meet you Stella...." He took Stella's hand and kissed the top of it...Just being polite of course....He would never do any thing like that in his past....But now that he was more lovable His gents side was showing to all the ladies....And he was saving the best for Tifa......

Tifa nodded at Cloud with a quick kiss. She glanced down at her engagement ring and smiles as she held his hand. "Yeah we can do it tonight I heard there will be fireworks when it gets darker." She blushed every now and then but her smile never faded and she was enjoying this day. Being close to cloud and seeing him open up finally was the best thing for her and the day was still not over.
Turning to Hope and Lightning she smiled at them both and decided to finally ask her to change. Everyone else was wearing swimsuits so she should to enjoy the day and luckily Tifa actually brought one extra with her. "So Lightning..... don't you want to change into something else.... for the occasion?" She asked glancing at Hope who seemed to be close to Lightning and hoped he would help with convincing her.
She glanced back at the others when she heard someone call her name and turned to look at Noctis as he introduced the new girl with him. "Stella..... its nice to meet you, and I am glad you could make it today." She replied turning to face her.

Snow Villiers
Snow smiled at Lightning, yet he was waiting for her to explode at him. They were engaged, but Lightning didn’t know yet. He was going to soon, but today wasn’t the day. Not with so many people around. This was something he was going to have to do in private, away from everyone else. Lightning was going to flip out at him, and he would rather no one be around to see it, especially not Serah. He would rather she didn’t know how angry Lightning got when he told her.
He watched Serah give Lightning those eyes. She was the only one who could ever melt Lighting’s cold heart. He smiled at Serah, his eyes gentle, loving. He wondered if Lightning would make a big deal out of him being here in front of everyone. He hoped not, he didn’t want to have Serah embarrassed about Lightning over reacting here. He knew how much she wanted Lightning and him to get along, but it wasn’t his fault that she hated him. He would like for her not to hate him, but that didn’t seem to be changing so…
When she seemed to accept Serah’s begging eyes, he couldn’t help but notice her glare in his direction. How could he let something bad happen to her at a party? He shook his head, not really understanding, but he wasn’t going to mess up their one day of freedom. For one day at least they wouldn’t have to worry about Lightning getting angry at them or no reason.
He noticed that Hope had for the first time ever, returned his smile. His smile flipped on and off, so he wasn’t sure if he was actually meant his smile or not. He watched Cloud kiss Serah’s had and his smile twinkled. He was glad that everyone was accepting them, especially Serah.
His gaze was caught up in Serah running toward him, her face lit up, eyes sparkling like he loved so much. He held out his arms and caught her around the waist, lifting her up a little bit before letting her feet touch the ground again. “She did? That’s amazing Serah, I can’t believe it! We’re gonna have a great time!” He nodded and raised his eyebrow, “Your right, I got fireworks, a pretty beautiful display, after the bonfire tonight we can light them up!”
“I can’t wait to watch them with you, I’m sure everyone will love them as much as we do!” He watched Cloud with Stella and smiled. He looked down to the water, and looking back at the group, he wondered why no one was swimming. “Hey, wanna go swimming Serah?” he wondered if anyone else would go swimming with them. “The water looks great! And its been awhile since I’ve gone swimming!”

Silently entering the room, he quickly notes a few familliar faces. The most of which of course Lightning . Quickening, he aproached a suitable nearby tree and took his stand, pearching out of sight to survey the going ons. Placing a finger to him temple he quickly gathered some mental material to inform. Starting with Tifa, in a few quick strokes he already knew that there was A bonfire.... that sounded like a lot of fun and she couldn't help but agree to that idea. Tifa was also in charge of the food as Zack reminded her to bring as much as she could carry. Sandwiches were a good idea and she spent her time making them earlier today. He knew that she woke up extra early for this and and manages to squeeze some of her chores in when she cleaned the bar and the rooms upstairs. Satisfied with this information, having felt to have gained a grasp of the day's proceedings, he quickly switched targets to Lightning, his thumb flicking to one side. His hazel blue eyes with a husky-like wolf pupils instead of a black one which made his eyes look beautiful gazed upon her longingly. He waited to time his entrance appropriatly. " I shall meet with you son enough my beauty!" The dust from the pollen in the bushes he was hiding him betrayed him for a moment though and he tried to cover up a small gentlemanly sneeze.. " HHNGKLHjklsdfh!"He had hoped no one had heard his muffled error. He prepared a few cards on his forearm just in case. His hair that was blue like the crystall waters in destiny islands just barely covered his one eye that like the other had a pupil that had a white coloration that resembled a wild husky in the snow rather than the tradition darkened color that pupils usually tend to adorne. He brushed it to the side with his finger that was elegant yet firm and well groomed although the motion was frivilous as the strands quickly fell back into place over his unique ocular orb. " hmmm..." Attachments:

Suprized by the spikey-haird youth's approch, Xanthro stood up and jumped out of the tree, landing smoothly on the ground. He reached out to place a hand on the capped-shoulder of the spikey-black-haired youth before him. " It's alright my boy!" He spoke reassuring the happy-eyed lad. Zack smiled back warmly, content that he had simply been mistaken. In an instant he knew they spikey-haird youth's spikey-haired name was spikey-haired Zack because of the mid reading abilities picked up to him from Axel. " Everyone remain calm! It's been taken care of. I don't understand these strange words comming from our friend here, but it's alright."He then casually walked over to lightning and hugged her in an instant. " It's so good to see you again! Been so long, how have you been?!"He gave a friendly squeeze to his old friend then stepped back smiling warmly at her. His wolf-huskey like eyes with white pupils closed as his smile friendly. He hoped that no one noticed that he was hiding in the bushes before since that would be quite awkward indeed. He hurridly thought of some excuses like he dropped his cell phone there. Even though everyone knew Xanthor didn't need a cell phone.. That was where the magic was. Attachments:

The gloves he had tried to stuff into the bag were flattened and he zipped the bag with some violence to force it down, and yet a finger of the material still jammed the closure. Hope had no time to adjust it because he heard Tifa speak to him as she approached with the warmth he always saw her with; there was something special about today though, she was beaming more than he'd ever seen and though he was a child with years to explore, he could read happiness when he saw it. Him, of all people could read happiness and despair now, thanks to the misfortune he so hated befalling him.
That aside, his green eyes roamed back to Lightning and they were like orbs that spotlighted her amongst the crowd. In his mind, he was just seeing Lightning the way she always was, the one he respected most and cared about indefinitely, but then, he felt the speculation Tifa was making on her and realised; she was not dressed for the beach, everyone was out of the norm, and he himself hadn't changed either. But, he had his clothes in the bag... and had already taken off his shoes in the haste of running on the beach... she was still walking there like the sand was the street of Coccoon. These thoughts ran around but he also knew, there was no use to persuade her to change, and did they even need to because he really could not imagine this scenario, with Lightning partying in water or any place involving formalities and informalities; she belonged where there would be casualties.
Just in time, that was the most accurate way of putting it and he smirked, squinting his eyes a little in a somewhat cheeky way, believing no one would see it; he was directing a tiny, miserable glare at Snow who was far away by now because of Serah. Hope sighed a little dramatically as he always did things, with melodrama just to peeve the man, whenever he paid attention and that was rare enough, so he had to always make the most of the moment even if he wasn't anywhere near him now, it was counted as habit until forgive and forget applied.
Shrugging after scanning Lightning, he was about to drop his bag in the sand, not bothering with how it might be soiled from the sea water that drenched where he stood, overnight, when a blonde woman was brought towards them. He had heard the racket he knew was caused by a number of people and at a number of places, but one of them had been a blonde man with hair that was longer on one side of his face and seemed to shade him in an odd way, the other was Noctis trudging along. It was unusual to see Noctis walk but it wasn't too bad, it made Hope believe he was more human for once and could be one of them, but in this case, the fact he was holding onto another woman, though she was remarkably beautiful in a clean and peaceful way, he was relieved it was not Lightning. A dark shadow could've crossed his face, if not for the doubt that he had because he still remembered his precious sister smiling at the spikey haired man; he was hell bent on not losing her and yet there really wasn't anything to anything from where things went. Hope was not one to think too much, just enough to make the best judgment he could for his age, but this was some foreign jealousy he admitted to and at the same time, he was smug as always but disappointed deep inside that...Stella... was nothing like Lightning, and yet he knew Noctis' back and worth time consuming feelings for her like the back of his hand.
"Hmm..." It was no complex of feelings, or attachment, Lightning was just his life savour and the key to his rebuilding his own life, what more was there that would seem so wrong from a kid's perspective, he just didn't want to react as though he was clinging to someone who'd replaced his family and his everything he had been spoiled enough to have; it was unfair. His voice had begun to break and it was deeper than before, Hope was a little startled at it but now he was used to it. Since Tifa hadn't seen him for awhile, she probably would comment but he wondered on that part, and blew it off after Cloud spoke and kissed the top of the Stella's hand. There was a little flinch on the muscle of his cheek but he pretended there was nothing and ignored it, he was growing up after all and someday he might really want to be like Cloud; this would have to be one of the things he'd take note of even though it wasn't his favourite thing. Neither was the kiss he saw fly from Tifa to Cloud as she'd leaned over and pressed her lips on him , normally such a thing would have made Hope turn away or shudder but it was fine; they were like his father and mother , how he perceived their love and he appreciated it, though there was solemnity whenever he reveled on the subject. He missed his family but there was no way round it, and then he stopped all self pity to hear Cloud actually voice out the suggestion for Lightning to change, and an eyebrow was raised.
That wasn't the only reason his eyebrow was raised, Hope heard and witnessed something appalling, there was a man strolling towards Lightning and then, he hugged her. There was a gagging sensation and all words failed him, he just stared in shock then shook his head very slowly and took two steps backwards, tightening his grip on the straps of his bag as he let the hold on the bag slip so that it was close to falling and made a swish sound. You... was the first question that popped in his head but he didn't say anything and awaited judgment from Lightning on this stranger, which he wondered would ever come or was there something she was holding from him, as his caretaker; Hope struggled inwardly thinking that he was suddenly rather alone, or maybe this was how... The sights of Zack with the red haired woman in the distance, cut him off, he was indeed alone because Vanille wasn't here and now even Noctis had this Stella... how did that work!? The fourteen year old had some things to catch up on and he remained silent.

The first reaction she would've had was to stare at him as though he'd done something ludicrous but she didn't. She had to avoid that at all costs especially when he'd said he was hoping she would acknowledge the squats; that was clear as the day she was spending with Zack. A million squats a day didn't quite cut it, she was very openly attracted to him for literally everything he was, even the insane things he threw himself into, but she couldn't pinpoint anything specific due to this, so that made her a little senseless. Cissnei was happy but he was reading through her like a book, and Zack was not one she could imagine spending free time with a book so this was rather... disturbing was not the word... incorrect was more like it, she wanted to be herself, the one he couldn't read so she would absolutely not fail. Someday, that was bound to crack and she supposed she would be prepared for it; she just needed more of his positively sunshining doctrines about how life's chances were always great.
A little voice was calling though, it was soft and very light but it was sensibly controlling her to allow him to see her other side just this once. She almost groaned and she knew if she'd been alone in her house right now thinking about how she regretted not taking the offer of his invite, she would've been groaning extensively, and that stopped her from making a sound now. It always felt as though she couldn't breathe when his words tributed something she'd been worrying or concentrating on, just like how she was focused on being down in the dumps on the days she had nothing better to do, or just simply missed him quietly and secretly; he was right though, it would be pretty boring...but it also acted as an emphasis to how much she was glad today existed the way it did.
"I had some time off... I just didn't have a reason to go anywhere, and there is always more work to do. Casa del sol... you still remember that... I don't believe I'd like running into trouble like we did last time though, and fight with an umbrella." Her smile was still there, but it was curling to a grin as her eyes narrowed with the mischief like the day he had fought genesis clones and she had been around with Tseng to witness it. It was one of those memories she'd never give away and it was amusing because he had no idea how he'd maneuvered the umbrella like his buster sword; the point was, it wasn't the sword and yet he was being the SOLDIER he was. It wasn't appropriate to laugh because he had still been a fighter and she was, of little help, if any at all.
Cissnei tipped her head a little upwards then towards the direction of the sea, her eyes following to the corners before they returned to him and her hair swayed back across, not passing her face to reveal it more than her fringe usually covered. "No... it's not as easy as you think, to forget." She ended shortly, hearing about Cloud being there, it almost made her a little deterred from being completely outgoing and she could've slipped her hand away from his grasp but it only loosened. That time, he was seen and remembered to be so ill and everything Zack needed to protected, she suddenly felt a pang of sadness as the confrontation hadn't been easy between them as opposing parties.
His voice was in the background but she knew what he was probably talking about; she was a good predictor and nevertheless enigmatic enough to shade her anxieties. Pursing her lips from the smile, they were a line that was engraved as deeply as the shape of her mouth and then she put her other hand toward it with curling fingers to suppress further expression of curiousity. The awesome man that he was... He was right about that but she wasn't going to make his head blow with the ego it could explode with, and she exhaled, almost shrugging but incompletely as she never fully shrugged to disregard a decision.
"I honestly... don't mind, but we would always be together even if we're with friends... right? It is still early, we have plenty of time... but they will miss you, being as awesome as you are." That was crazy talks. Her hair now fell back and she dropped her hand in haste then spoke as though she'd never said anything, and that the nervous laugh that followed represented nothing. "I mean, you did invite them, so this is really happening because of you... you can't just leave things?" Always on things as though they were responsibilities and a serious job, where was the fun of pressure? She couldn't help but mention that part of what she'd gathered to conclude from what Zack had let on, about the gathering. At the same time, she was doing what she usually did, giving as much as he would give and so far, it was so good. There were always allusions and truths, she was too good at this game but now was reaching the peak, and the girl began thinking it was best to drop the facade she loved to put on because it was her comfort zone, bit by bit, like the peeling of a disguise.
"Why do you ask? I haven't seen fireworks in a long time too, and... I guess, I used to like them when I can remember being under them. Do you?" Actually, she knew little about Zack Fair, eventhough she had the confidential files, reading and remembering out of pure interest couldn't compare to verbally questioning and being told because you were to be someone who could share that piece of information; she was thankful for this courage she felt from overcoming the first step out of the house, and stood free enough of stress to hum a tune but that was just a thought.

((Ok I am going to ATEMPT to make a posting order!! Rofl!! *takes deep breath* ok here goes! the posting order GOES Zack, Cloud, Tifa, Noctis, Storm, Stella, Squall, Lightning, Serah, Rinoa, Snow, Hope, Cissnei! *lets out breath* ok, first things first though, I have to post with Storm, and then Stella is going to post, because Noct can’t really post until we do! THEN we start back at square one and I start out the posting with Zack, then Cloud, Tifa, Noct, and the list goes on! anyone else that joins in the posting order goes after Cissnei!! Lolz, so yeah, this needed some order, and I tried to work on that! Oh and one other thing. If you have any ideas about what we could to for fun just say! )) Storm ZarxenStorm smiled at Stella, even though he wasn’t totally used to her living with them. She was sweet, that much he could say for her, but sometimes he still thought of the council and her father and wished she didn’t live with them. He was starting to like her though, the more he talked to her and had to be around her. He nodded and his blue eyes twinkled when he spoke to her. “Heya Stella!” He didn’t know if she viewed him as a friend yet, because he had been somewhat rude without meaning to be when she had first come. He could see that she felt shy. He didn’t get being shy, because he was outgoing, but he could appreciate that she was, and he was going to try to help her with not being so shy. She was one of the only two he actually knew from his own world that was here. Other then that, he had been introduced to a bunch of people, and they were all nice, but they weren’t from his own world! He continued to trot backwards, wondering if they would join him for swimming. He was shotgunless, which was probably a first in his life since getting a shotgun. He stuck his tongue out at Noct, “See bud? I can put it down every once in awhile!”He saw that Noct looked somewhat out of it again, mesmerized, what was up with him anyway? He could tell Noct was going to turn him down with swimming, and he laughed. “Oh common have some fun!” He shook his head, “Well if you decide to have some fun and escape your own world, come on down!” He almost fell down as he tripped on some unseen objects littering the path to the ocean behind him. Laughing, he turned around and took off for the ocean. When he came to the water, he yelled in pleasure as he dove in. “whooooo!!!” He landed in the water with a splash, before surfacing and swimming into the ocean further. Now this was the life! Soaking wet, he soaked up the sun while swimming in the water. He couldn’t wait for the party to really start! But he wondered again why no one else was swimming. He started floating and couldn’t hear anything but the crashing of the waves and the noise of the distant people talking…
