Tifa smiled as she hugged Cloud back. "Hey missed me already?" She asked with a chuckle taking his hand as she walked over to the others. She smiled happily glad to see everyone was enjoying themselves."Hey Zack no problem you said you wanted tons of food right? We are here to enjoy the day and I also brought bottles of beer from the bar too" She said pointing to the bottles she brought with her that laid next to the basket filled with food.
Tifa turned to Storm once he introduced himself still smiling as always. "Hi Strom its nice to meet you.....I am glad you could make it here." Tifa said smiled glancing over at Lightning. She only met her once but was glad she came and it was with a new face was that her sister?
Turning to attention to Cloud once she heard his words "Are you sure you want to do that today..... tell everyone about our engagement?" She asked in a low tone so others wouldn't her them. Tifa couldn't wait to announce their engagement and invite everyone to the wedding it was hard to hide her excitement especially from Cloud.

Snow Villiers
Snow rode his bike down the island trail quickly. Serah had told him about a party they were going to, and had invited him to come a long as well. Besides, he had met Noctis, and he was going as well, or so he had been told. It was at the islands he was in now, a beach party! He loved going to the beach, and also swimming. Since becoming a member of the I’Cie, he hadn’t gotten all that much time to relax and have fun.
He couldn’t wait to see Serah in a swimsuit either, or to hear her laugh, her eyes light up. He wanted to hold her hand and look at the stars with her. He readjusted the package he held tucked under his left arm. Fireworks is what it was. He knew how much Serah loved fireworks, and he had wanted to get something to go to the party with. He hadn’t even wanted to attempt bringing food, so he had brought something that Serah would love.
It was enough for a huge display of fireworks, all different colors too. Suddenly coming out of the jungle foliage, he came across many people standing around by a big sparkling white beach. Tiki lamps, ready to be lit dotted the area, with a makeshift tent with the food under it. Snappy music played as the people laughed and greeted each other. Most of the guys had their swimwear on, and today, so did he! He had his other clothes with him, stuffed away in the back of his bike, but it felt nice to not be wearing his coat on a day like this!
The sun shone brightly, the air was hot, the perfect day to go swimming! His own swimming trunks were blue with white flowers, he was going Hawaiian today! Pulling up and stopping the bike, he put the kickstand down and cut the engine. Stepping off, his gaze was drawn to the giant Odin standing with Lightning and Serah getting off.
A big smile lit his face as he made his way toward her. On the way, he tucked the fireworks away in the tent. He saw a woman putting food out with dark hair. Smiling at her, he walked toward Serah then. Coming close, he saw her glance around, looking at the tropical place they were in. “Serah!” he called out to her, his eyes sparkling. He had seen Lightning as well, but at the moment, wanted only to be by Serah. A little later he would speak to her, maybe this was a chance to get to be better friends with her…or rather, friends period. They didn’t exactly see eye to eye, but he was trying to get that to change! He didn’t want Lightning hating him, but he couldn’t force her to change her opinion of him either.

Stella moved her head to the side on her pillow. As the morning came. But no sun would ever come to this dark city she lived in. It's been a while since Noctis let her live in his palace. This place was so much better and nicer than her old home. Stella opened her eyes and looked at the clock on the night stand...It was 6 am....She sat up. And got out of bed....And noticed a note on her night stand...She smiled as she saw Noctis's seal on the envelope....And smiled slightly to herself as she grabbed it at once and opened it up.....
"Dear Stella,
I hope you slept well. Do not forget about the Bonfire Party on Destiny Island. I hope to see you there...Although I respect that you wanted to sleep in...That's why I left ahead with Storm. We will be there waiting for you arrival...There is a portal in the library...You will find it I assure you will. It will take directly to Destiny Island.....Don't question it. Just use it....
Noctis....."
Stella smiled as she saw another piece of paper behind that one...It was the directions for her after she walked through the portal....He wanted her to attend...This would be so much fun...She at once got herself ready. And changed clothes...She was wearing a white two piece bikini and a see through white skirt...And she grabbed her slippers......Which were in fact blue....And walked down stairs to the library....She found the portal alright....and looked directly at it...Noctis was full of surprises she thought to herself....As she placed on her sun glasses and walked through the portal....It closed up on her as she walked on cold wet sand...And she knew she was at the beach....And smiled...
She then looked at her directions...And walked a ways a head of her....And heard people talking and music playing....She smiled bigger as she looked at the scene....There were a lot of heroes here....Some she did not know....Lightning she knew....But not really knew....And Storm and Noctis....Noctis was drinking a beer....Was he actually opening up and having fun?! This was like wow to Stella....As she joined the group.....
"Noctis...Storm....I made it!!" She then accidentally stumbled her foot against the rock....And started to fall over! She was not made for fun....What was she doing here? Well, Noctis had invited her....So how could she turn him down......

"Squall"
"Ready to have some fun?"
Squall smiled bigger when he heard that voice and turned around.....He smiled....And rushed over to her just as Cloud ran over to Tifa....Squall hugged Rinoa tightly...And kissed her cheek....."You bet I'm ready to have some fun! You look amazing!" He got a good look at her bathing suit....He was in swim suit as well....And just felt right at home now that Rinoa was here....He gave her his beer can hoping that she would want some....And smiled...."We need this party huh? I'm glad most of the people are here already...Just wait for the fore works....That's gonna be amazing....Rinoa....I love you...You know, we've never kissed before on a beach....."

Once Serah climbed down, Odin returned to his original crystal form and faded as it returned to reside in Lightning's chest. She glanced around at everyone, there were some she recognized and others no. It seemed like they were preparing for a party and everyone invited their friends. Lightning even saw Squall there the one person she never thought she would cross paths with again.
After their encounter in Cocoon she wished nothing more to do with him. He was neither a friend nor foe but had certain characteristics for her made him seem untrustworthy or atleast thats what she thought. He didn't seem to notice her though, and was distracted with the female that was with him. So that was Rinoa she remembered the name from the time he mentioned it.
Lightning turned walking over to the others and pressed her lips to form a small smile as she glanced at them all. "Didn't think anyone else would be here... I see we meet again Noctis..." She paused turning to Cloud."Her name’s Serah... this is my sister." she said introducing Serah as she looked at them.
Her smile soon turned into a frown once she saw Snow arrive grinning at Serah. Wasn't their anywhere she could go that he wouldn't follow? She sighed once seeing his blue trunks with white flowers. What did Serah see in him... maybe she found him interesting to be with but that’s it Serah can’t really like him how could she? Lightning turned to stare at Snow as he parked his bike. Her eyes spoke without the needs for words. How could someone like him protect Serah ? Just words thats all they would ever be...
Lightning despised him and didn't care what her sister said she was never going to change her opinion about Snow. To her Snow would always be bad news. Ever since she met him Lightning never trusted him. Yes she was Serah's older sister and her guardian but that didn't mean she was over protective and chased off every man Serah talked to.
She didn't really care who it was as long as he could make Serah happy and protect her... he had to protect her that was her main condition, and she couldn’t trust Snow with such an important task. She knew he would probably abandon Serah at the first sign of danger. He is good with words but that’s all... he can’t protect Serah that’s why I can’t trust him or allow them to be together.

Feeling a bit slow, it had only hit him that today was a gathering for everyone he'd met and not met; this was no small ocassion... What he had prepared for was nothing compared to what he should've expected Zack to come up with, and that was when he suddenly remembered him mentioning Cloud and Tifa's impending engagement; this was likely a celebration of some sort for the moment that everyone wanted to come, more than just the fun he had been told to make the most of. Those two were made for eachother... Noctis should have counted on Zack to do something like this, even in secret wait that maybe Cloud and Tifa would announce that they would be together forever at last, and whether he was wrong was no matter, if he even mentioned it to his friend as a passing thought that this be a celebration, it would be done as the focal point of today.
This daze slapped out of him as Storm called him back to life. The reverberations of his energetic voice having been droned out from Noctis as he zoned at Lightning, not even waking to see Serah's delighted face upon Snow's arrival. The rumble of Snow's bike had greeted them all and yet, here he was the beer can finally a weight in his hand again, jumping slightly as he nodded to Storm. "Ok..."
As he could see the grin on his face, he sighed and smiled a little openly then watched him meet Tifa; he knew she had brought food and was confident there was something he would like which she baked. Cloud had always boasted to him the times he traveled to midgar about the delicacies she spent time creating for him; these recipes were apparently incomparable to anything Noctis would have in his home by the blessing of Tifa's talents.
"You're always carrying it..." He pointed out to Storm, knowing it wouldn't be left alone in the tent with his clothes for longer than half an hour even if it was red hot; that shot gun was Storms second life or something and he was utterly out of place to request he get rid of it, even as Storm slept. Sometimes, his worldly different brother, napped with it and it disturbed him that he was going to get shot if Storm had a bad dream, but he was probably just being pathetic and never mentioned it... Not like Storm would have a dream to kill him; it was brilliantly humourous. Storm could stop saying he was his friend to everyone soon, he was going to be everyone's friend if Noctis had any say in it.
Hearing Cloud, he watched as he welcomed Tifa to him in the most adoring way. None of the soldier's passions were anything he had ever seen before these days, the man had succumbed to the powers of love. Seduced by the weird move Cloud made as he kissed her hand, Noctis looked on in amazement. Rinoa...? Once more, his focus was cleaned and he found himself turning to look for this dark browned haired woman; the one Squall had been searching for, the love of Squall's life... today called for many reconciliations and was perhaps truly the best time of some people's lives in a century.
Where he stood in the group, it wasn't easy not to feel out of place with his own inhibitions and the love polygons around him. Thanking his fears, he wanted to back away and out of there simply to do something else... not to look at this, not to face what he would some day have to. Why couldn't he be like Zack or Storm, although Zack still had Aerith he was never at all intoxicated by the feelings... Noctis wanted to be like them, just looking for their dreams to come true, and shook his head swaying his brown hair that tickled his face in wonder at everyone around.
His earth spun him round to see everything in comfort of not being judged; he felt the weight of his world fly away with the breeze. It was then that the voice of Stella alarmed him and he straightened up somehow by instinct to see her in white, which she usually wore; the total contrast of him, she had arrived and he was glad the note had not remained unopened. There was no clock around and briefly he had wondered how he'd only just got here with Storm that she was too, ready for the fun. In that moment, he raised the empty hand to gesture a flailing wave at her, the less committed type he always made, until she stubbed her toes against a rock he hadn't even noticed her walk into.
Too busy taking in the vision, Noctis paused in sharp turn to find Lightning talk to him now, shattering his entire fortified nonchalance. "Yes, Lightning...and Neither did I..." Especially, what was she doing here? It must have been Tifa who invited her ever since he'd introduced the two in midgar after he'd found her again in Cocoon. Sandwiched between the turn of events, he flashed a gaze at Cloud while Lightning introduced Serah, having just enough time to pop away from the crowd. There was somewhere he had to be right now, and apologetic but only managing so much to say, he wanted to be around Lightning... and he couldn't, he wasn't supposed to, this was all overthinking's fault... Noctis urged himself to shut off feelings that could grow, from her, content with resignation into despair over it as she shared no similar sentiments to him, he thought. His face showed there was much to tell Storm and he would be bombarded later but some how he wanted to tell him things now, how he felt and his troubles... only this was no place for that, maybe if he was indeed not himself then he would at some point.
With Stella, he landed just before she almost was flat to the ground, being a little bit late to stop her fall, he was somehow on his knees with her half collapsed into his support. This was where he had to be in all haste. She wasn't the clumsy type but everyone was a klutz once in awhile and the bigger one he'd met, hadn't arrived yet even when she too found him here for the same reasons Destiny Islands was anything to him. Xion... he had much to be teased by her about now, if she saw what he was doing...
"Stella... wh-... you're early... " The first time, he held onto her bare and silk skin as she dressed for the occasion and he shied away, helping her up but feeling as though he had commit some thing unforgivable; it was a crime he couldn't take his eyes off her either but he had to return to his formal self. He simply had to... "I was right to think you'd definitely find the portal... I didn't want to wake you but I trust you had a good sleep then...?"
Sand dusted off him and he released her from his grasp only to ring his fingers around her wrist, ready to lead her to the others. Storm was going to have that big smile of his on his face at the see-through care he had for Stella. Metres away, his golden eyes mirrored hers, awed by Snow's bike; it was one of the coolest vehicles he'd ever laid eyes on...but... The flower, the blue and the muscular man... Noctis shut his eyes from what he gathered; he had to turn away from Stella and everyone in the distance to refrain from cracking up like a maniac. A real maniac that would make him, he was never going to burst out loud with laughter... never... but he was having to cover his mouth with his free hand now and press the muscles back into the little smile like nothing fazed him.
His beer had spilt over the sand, tiny dots that lined in a spray was around the rock Stella had tripped over but the can was still by majority, full. Not looking at Snow any longer as he'd danced towards Serah as jovial as jovial could be, Noctis bent forward in his typical way of only stretching his arms as far as he could reach, never buckling knees to pick anything up, and found the drink to hold it by the rim of the aluminium opening. "There are people you should meet..." He said to Stella as he faced her again, recomposed but taking a few steps to start walking at her pace.

Zack Fair
Zack smiled at Tifa, “yeah, but thanks again, the food looks great!” Seeing a muscular man pull up on one of the best looking bikes he had ever seen, his mouth dropped open in amazement. “wow!” He grinned as he spoke. It was an amazing vehicle, and the fact that he would sport those trunks made Zack want to slap him on the back, whoever he was. Glancing at the man, he seemed to be carrying a big pack. He would talk to him later about what it might be. He didn’t know the man, but it would seem like Lightning and her sister did. The sister was happy to see him, but Lightning…he shuddered at the look she gave the poor guy. That must be Snow…no one else did Lightning hate so much!
He chuckled a little bit, before shaking his head. “glad I’m not him!” he muttered to himself. He glanced at Cloud and Tifa, a smirk on his face. He hoped they told about their engagement tonight! His gaze was drawn to Noctis, who seemed to have the same thought running through his head. He talked with lightning, before another woman he didn’t know suddenly appeared from a portal. She called out to Noct and Storm, so she must know them at least a little bit.
He stood by Storm and just looked at what was all going on around him. People all had smiles on their faces, except Lightning…but that wasn’t his fault! Noct was on the verge of laughing over Snow’s trunks, and even Zack wanted to chuckle. Shaking his head, he wondered who the woman with Noct was. The bonfire was crazy, but suddenly he remembered about picking Cissnei up! Jogging to the tent where his clothes were, he checked his phone for the time. He should be leaving, that would give him enough time to quickly pick her up. He had come early to get everything set up, but now he could leave for awhile. On his way to his bike, he walked past Storm! “Hey, I have to go pick someone up, I’ll be back in a few!”
Jogging away, still in his trunks, he went to his bike. Getting on and starting the bike, he put it into gear and quickly drove away from the beach. He was so glad that he had met up with Cissnei! He had found her at Gongaga, and had invited her…it made him grin. He was sure she would love it at the beach, like old times when they had gone on vacation at the ‘same time’ in Casa De Sol. It only took him a few minutes to make it to where he was supposed to pick her up. Getting off where she lived, he knocked at the door, eager to see Cissnei…and also get back to the beach. Checking his phone again he saw that it was just the time they had agreed to meet!

Cissnei stuffed her belongings into a little bag that was waterproof and squishy. Some of these things included a watch she had under that suit everyday, her trust handphone which she couldn't live without, a towel and a spare change of clothes which were still a bit formal but on the sporty side. She never liked wearing swimwear that revealed too much either and this time, she still had something that resembled her two piece which had bottoms she covered by wearing mini board shorts. It didn't matter all that much if Zack saw her again, the same modest swim wear since Costa de Sol; she kind of thought it would be good so it didn't appear as if she tried to impress him and yet she wanted to by all means. That fan club of his still existed if he still remembered she was a member, she shook her head as she packed sunscreen, begrudged that she even let him find out her secret identity as the black suit!
Slightly flustered by the reminder, she pulled the strings so that the bag shut like a sack and she heard the sound of his new motorbike approach her doorstep. Though she had been raised by ShinRa, she'd long moved out of their premises, based on their trust that she was so absorbed by her job that nothing could betray them; it was how little they knew. Cissnei was meeting Zack Fair; they would fall on their faces finding this out regardless of the new motives, and Rufus would fall off his chair, she didn't even want to think of what Reno would do with all his craziness.
Admittedly that time at Casa de sol was an accident, she didn't think he was actually going to be there although she kind of had the information that he would plan to go. It was still coincidental planning, which was something she smiled about now; her excuses were quite funny, in spite of how sad they could be that she was always the one trying.
As she walked out of the house and remote locked the door, she stood on the steps just in front of where he'd parked, in awe at what he was wearing and tried not to make it too obvious; it was so bright... and so... Zack... The smile on her face plastered itself and she chuckled, a hand reaching her mouth to cover it. He would always be this way, the same old and she actually liked it; a mental slap stopped her right there with the girly-ness. "You're actually on time..." She joked, he kept promises and she understood she would not have been left waiting or doubting from the moment he'd invited her to this beach bonfire; that just didn't mean she would give up all relentless taunting. It had just been a little troublesome that she asked him to pick her up; it wasn't like she had no legs to travel, how undermining... "This new bike of yours... is much better than the old one..."
With all courtesy, she commented and got on, careful with the piping as her legs barely touched the ground and had to find a pedal to rest her feet. They would be off to Destiny Islands; she had researched all she could from her files to find out just how far it would be and that was why she agreed for him to pick her up. The way was long in her opinion despite him denying, but it was all not too much for them both to handle; it would be worth it too that she seized a moment like this... Right now, she had to decide whether she cared at all that she didn't know any one else who might be there, or if anything could cut short this little holiday of hers once more; all she could think of was to keep her head on without all the happiness that could show! Comfortable on the padded seating that stretched with the length of the futuristic vehicle, she examined it from where she sat, avoiding eye contact with Zack as she smiled with her earlier thought, then muttered softly and sincerely. "Thank you Zack...for coming all this way."

Storm Zarxen
Storm watched as Noct seemed to pull out of the trance he had been in ever since the majestic horse had ran up and the two women had jumped off. He chuckled a bit and ruffled his hair playfully. “Just makin sure, you were pretty out of it…” He yawned as he looked around. The water looked very tempting the way it sparkled and the waves crashed against the shore. He looked at Noct when he mentioned that he was always carrying his shotgun. Laughing, he nodded, “I guess your right, but hey, its such a beautiful gun, I can’t help myself!”
He even slept with the shotgun; he could count the times he had set the gun down. It was barely any, or so Noct kept telling him. He remembered their many conversations about why he always kept the gun with him. He grinned remembering the good times he had had with Noct and his friends.
He glanced around, standing by Noct and Zack. Everyone else seemed to have someone, The man from the motorcycle had his girl, Squall was with the woman he must love, Cloud had Tifa. The only ones without someone seemed to be Zack, the Lightning woman, Noct and himself. Not that he really minded, he didn’t have an eye for anyone anyway. And then, he turned around to a womanly voice. He smiled when he saw Stella. She seemed a little hesitant to be there. Maybe it was because she didn’t know anyone either?
He waved at her, the beer still in his had. “Hey Stella! Glad you made it!” He watched as Noct portaled to her. Shaking his head, he chuckled a bit. always trying to show of to ladies…that was Noct… he chuckled a bit, before seeing Zack suddenly seem to remember something and jog away. He came back and spoke about going to pick someone up. He could tell it was someone Zack cared about. Why would he pick someone up he didn’t like? He was a nice guy, but he was already here, why would he leave the party…? Unless….his girlfriend? Shrugging, he nodded, “Yeah, later man!”
He found that he had wandered close to the tent. Smiling, he glanced back at Noct. “I’ll show him!” He grinned as he laid the gun and his extra clothes down. It felt foreign to put his gun down, and he almost couldn’t do it. Sighing, he turned his back and jogged down to where Noct and Stella were. He grinned as he came close to Noct. Out of no where, he suddenly came up behind them and got Noct in a headlock. “I’m gonna go in the water, that cannonball Zack did earlier looked like a lot of fun!” The sparkle in his eyes was sharp as he felt Noct tense beneath him and laughed a bit. He couldn’t believe no on else was in the water, it looked so tempting. “You guys should join me! The water looks great!” he let go of Noct and trotted backwards, a playful smirk on his face.

(sorry If I posted out of order, but the thread is kind of crazy anyway! ) Zack FairAs Zack stood, he thought about Cissnei, how could he not? She had been on his mind a lot lately, ever since meeting her in Gongaga. She was still the same she had been before, but now, he seemed to have seen her differently. She had matured, probably because it had been years now, but she hadn’t been immature even before that. He had felt relaxed around her, except of course when she had tried to take Cloud and him in. She had said it was her job, but then after that, she had given him a bike and let them escape. He hadn’t known what to make of that, but when she had walked away, he had felt a little empty. Had it just been because he only had an unconscious Cloud to talk to? He had been friends with the Turks…and they had just went on with their jobs…Tseng had been a good friend of his, and he had known Reno and Rude, and liked them. Cissnei had also been a good friend of his. He had even found out that she was a member of his old fan club! He smiled at the thought. She hadn’t seemed happy to tell him, and he had been surprised when he had found out. He had also been happy that she had, he had never been sure with her demanding job if she had time for their friendship. He could understand about jobs though, his hadn’t exactly made him free to do anything either. They had been pushed into becoming enemies for awhile, she had hunted him, and he had told her what he would do if she had kept following them. He sighed at the thought, he had never wanted to harm her, but becoming Hojo’s experiment once again hadn’t been his wish either. When she walked out, his eyes widened. She looked amazing. Yet he grinned at the look on her face as she glanced at him. He was bright, Cloud had told him that, but he didn’t care if anyone laughed at him. He wasn’t just going to wear some boring colors that everyone had on, besides, he could pull them off! “You look really pretty Cissnei!” He liked it when she smiled and laughed, she was usually so serious. Raising his eyebrow and pretending to be offended, he shook his head, not able to stop the twinkle in his eyes. “Hey now, I’m not always late!” He grinned, she always like to pick on him, that was one of the ways he knew she was comfortable around him. He hadn’t thought it was a burden to pick her up at all, he had looked foreword to it actually. Turning his head to glance at his bike, he nodded. “It is pretty sharp…although the old one…it was special because you gave it to me…” He spoke without thinking and a tiny blush crept upon his face. Clearing his throat, he ran his hand through his ridiculously spiky hair, his bright blue eyes looking at her a little bit. He saw her avoiding his eyes, but he smiled when he saw her do so. Walking toward the bike quickly, he got on and started the engine. When he heard her speak softly, he turned his head and shoulders, meeting her eye. “your welcome…it was no problem…I wanted to come Cissnei!” Smiling at her, he put the bike into gear and pulled out onto the road. He drove quickly and expertly, the wind whipped at them, the sun shone down on them. It was so warm, the perfect day to go swimming. Cissnei looked like she would go swimming, and she looked great in her swimsuit. She looked natural, not like him in his mega bright colors! He remembered the chuckle and grinned as they whipped down the road. They turned onto the trail to Destiny Island quickly, and Zack couldn’t wait to go swimming again! He didn’t think Cissnei would really know anyone there, but he would help her meet new people, he was sure she would have fun. When they got there, he glanced out toward the water, a few people were swimming. Parking the bike, he put down the kickstand and got off. Holding his hand out to Cissnei, the never ending smile was still on his face. “Ready to have some fun?”

Serah smiled as she walked over to the group once Lightning introduced her. She already knew Noctis but everyone else that was the first time she meets them.
She smiled looking at everyone "Its nice to meet you all" She said glancing from one to the other. Everyone seemed so friendly and this world was peaceful she was sure she was going to like it there. She was already enjoying her time and only waited for him. Snow's arrival would complete her happiness.
Serah heard him call her name and turned smiling brightly at Snow, but then sensed the tension between him and her sister. Turning to Lightning with a pleading look in her eyes. Just for one day at least she wanted to spend her time with both of them without fighting. She was the one who invited Snow and wanted to be there with him.

(Sorry if this does mean you have to post in a different order now! Her movements were slightly awkward but not enough that he could tell she was affected by what he'd said. Cissnei looked at herself, from behind Zack now having kept quiet to fix her emotions until she pursed her lips and then suggested like her usual self. "Hmm...You're going to say you wanted to say it... if I thank you again now right? but you still look good Zack..."Having those words out of her mouth felt like a relief but then she wanted to smack herself for the way she'd worded them! Her conscious grumbled to her about it, she'd just revealed that all this time she'd thought he looked good... but she decided he wasn't going to care much, knowing she'd been in his fan club since the medieval ages, he'd been dead... so obviously it was all 'great'; even sarcasm was bickering with her! He was ridiculous, not her... if he'd never said it, though she'd believed he remarked on things that he saw to his liking or discretion at any point in time, she still could never adjust to it. A super epic fail... Cissnei tucked a strand of her hair behind her ear, feeling her skin burn a little as it reached her cheeks in a blush; what was that about something she gave being special...It made her a little jittery that he felt that way, and suddenly really aware of things she'd always wanted to give him which she couldn't muster enough courage and find the rights, to. The bike wasn't anything close... but it was all that made sense at the time, and she even went back to ShinRa happy... It was probably the only thing that made her happy when they separated. "...Is nothing ever a problem to you...?" She wondered a loud, he'd said the same type of hyper answers to her for a very long time; it was beyond polite because it made people at ease, but maybe less for Cissnei... it made her unable to move on from her aimless crush. They took off from her place towards Destiny Islands; the bike had been less bumpy than her old one, it had better suspension. She thought about it to keep her mind off what was said before they left, and it made her shake her head in the wind as it blew her hair up, even then she couldn't keep her inner thoughts in order. Starting with the topic of her old bike, she'd never really used it as much as he did, she could tell and it was an older model... the other thing she didn't dare to even dream about was to ride it with him so this and that were two incomparable things. Relaying about her bike had gone off to become a memory about this ride; she was going to fuss about it at the end of the day if she couldn't help it but now was not the time! As she laid things straight to herself, they arrived at the beach and she let her feet dangle to drop onto the sand after he'd kicked the stand down; it felt like tiny crystals and softly sank around her foot with her weight. She stood viewing the gulls fly far off above the ocean and began counting how many people there were here in her head; it was automatic reaction like she had to map out her terrain as a Turk. Fun? He'd broken her off, and she lost track because they were all moving and only one other person seemed to be brighter than Zack in clothing... "Ok... I haven't been to the beach in five years... this is a little nostalgic..."Letting that on, she shielded her eyes from the sun with a hand and then changed her expression to a more lively one, smiling and looking at him again. His hand outstretched to her was an indicator for her to take and Cissnei glanced at it in hesitation, she had never in all her years touched his hand and now she was supposed to take it like it was all a breeze so he wouldn't think she was making a big deal out of nothing. She reached for it, her fingers a little wary of the touch but eventually felt his palm as she took hold; he was just too friendly, she wanted to sigh again with the butterflies in her stomach. "Shouldn't you be doing Squats for fun?"

At Vanille's hideout, Psicom was never going to find him. It was a little abandoned house in the heart of cocoon, in a relatively deserted neighbourhood because people had left in fear of air raids that used to happen so often because of the sanctum's attempts to capture L'cie. They all believed L'cie would never return here; it was too great a risk and very dangerous but they never switched on the lights without closed curtains, and even then candles were preferred as long as they were on the run. Hope wished they could someday stay in cocoon like they used to but he made up his mind never to be captured and sent to the Edge again. Anything he had to do to co operate here, he would do even if it was a horrible life and nothing like his old comfortable one.
Now he was bored and sat on a low stool, having just woken up; it was still early but he had wondered round the small rooms to find no one home and guessed Vanille left with Fang or Snow somewhere to get breakfast. He was a little starved but it was nothing, they never ate regularly anyway and this was nothing unusual to him that he was left by himself; the youngest of them all, he was a misplaced kid in a temporary shelter. Afraid his father would die because of him, he had still left with Snow and the rest of team nora, never to see him again though they were still in the same world. It pained him to remember to always be his father's son, though he wanted to cry and could do nothing to change the fate, the tear filled eyes of his closed before he wanted to be seen as a crybaby if Vanille burst through the door suddenly.
Fourteen years old already, he counted all the things he'd done to help; if only he could grow up faster and be stronger, more useful and not have to run... His friends weren't like him, they didn't have their mothers murdered before their eyes and leave their only father; the thoughts angered him but he didn't want to think of his hopelessness. So much for being Hope... he laughed at himself and grabbed his orange jacket that lay on a little counter table, bothered until an envelope fell out from the top and he grabbed it as it dropped to the floor. His catch creased the surface a little and he peeled it open to find scented paper with handwriting he had seen before.
A smile broke his face as he read, it was from Tifa! His day just got exciting now and he couldn't wait to see her and the cakes she baked for him... the smile went to a pout, as he realised. Snow must have left him with Vanille...! But why would Fang do that too?! It was all Snow's fault... Realistically, it probably wasn't but it made him grumble to have to face the truth because he was always finding something wrong with the man too. Lightning was right about him and Hope still hadn't gotten over the death of his mother despite feeling bad sometimes for how he behaved to Snow; blame wasn't going to bring her back... but where else could his anguish go? He also believed in Lightning more than anyone else now, and she didn't trust Snow; he was weak to Hope... even if most of Team nora called him a hero so he just followed along until he could muster enough to apologise to him and make friends.
That wasn't the point at the moment, he was going to have to go to a bonfire alone but he wanted to really badly; Alexander was his only solution since they had no portal in this house but that was going to be a riot. Hope wasted no more time and put on his jacket, not even zipping it from the cold wind that blew outside from the chill of a wet morning and only made sure he did what he had to do- grab swimmers; after that was in his little bag, he ran with the little purple paper as far and fast as he could from there, shutting the door quietly and sprinting for his life. Out here, it was a warzone and he was frightened in case the others found him doing this, he wasn't even sure if this envelope was real though he knew the writing, but uncertainty overruled since he was conscious Vanille would never leave him behind without help.
In the middle of nowhere, he was on Alexander's robotic palm and carried in a lumbering rush to Destiny Islands; he had to use white magic too, his last resort to help because his Eidolon wasn't like Odin. It was strenuous and he felt tired, sleeping for about half an hour as they traveled. The sun burned him til he woke up; the problem with Alexander was that the fortress didn't attentively tell him anything. It was perfectly content to stick to the side of a mountain or battlefield as long as it protected him and now was no different; he groaned as he took of his shoes and jumped off, landing in the sand to see everyone there.
Everyone he knew and didn't know... Snow was there in all hawaiian radiance and he almost threw up... but the sight of Lightning relieved him and he trudged there with the little bag and Alexander pasted to the seaside like a tribal monument. His eyes were bright and shone the gemstone green they were as he waved to Tifa in the distance, showing her the little slip of paper from where he was but it slipped from between his fingers and blew away to his dismay. It was still intimidating for him though, regardless of how he wanted to be brave; they were all adults and he didn't know what to say though being timid now wasn't going to make Lightning proud of him.

Snow Villiers
Snow kept walking toward Serah, who was getting introduced. The look Lightning gave him made him raise his eyebrow, but he didn’t who any fear of her. Yes she had told him to stay away, but he hadn’t listened to her. Serah was everything to him, and he didn’t really care if Lightning hated him for it. He scolded himself inwardly for that opinion, after all, no matter how much they disagreed, she was Serah’s sister. The smile on Serah’s face made him smile as well, but then she became worried and glanced back at Lighting. He couldn’t see her face but she was probably pleading with her to give him a chance.
He didn’t outwardly show any emotion toward that look. He knew Lightning thought him weak, she hated him, but she hadn’t ever given him a chance. Is she hateful because she was afraid I will take Serah from her forever? He had spent to much time trying to figure out why, and trying to gain her approval some way. He never accomplished gaining her respect, but he would somehow. He didn’t need her respect for himself, but he knew it must hurt Serah to have her big sister hate the man she loved. He grinned a little bit though, if Lightning ever lost her weapon, she could just use her glare to get out of tight situations, her glare could kill.
He was there then, and smiling down at Serah, before his gaze went to Lightning. His face went void of emotion as much as was humanly possible for him. Nodding his head a bit, he didn’t back down from her or give her an inch. Word’s never worked with her, but maybe there was another way to show her that he could take care of Serah. He didn’t run from the danger of the I’Cie, he would stand by Serah and protect her. Though he had told that to Lightning many times, she never believed him. “Lightning.” He spoke politely, his voice monotone, this was supposed to be fun, how could it be fun with them fighting? He hoped Lighting would realize this wasn’t the place either.
He held her gaze for a few moments, telling her to just let it go for one day. Serah needed to have some fun without thinking her big sister hated him, them, the fact that they were together. Taking Serah’s hand, he forgot about Lightning and smiled at her. “Guess what I brought!” His face was a grin, his eyes sparkled, the love for Serah showed there. Even after she had become a member of the I’Cie, before he had as well, he had asked her to marry him, but neither of them had told Lightning yet. She would probably just want his head on a platter if they did, someday soon he would tell her, but not right here at the bonfire. He had told Serah that he would tell her, because it should be him, since he didn’t want her getting angry at Serah.
“I’ll give you a hint…It reminds me of you!” He remembered when he had told her fireworks reminded him of her, and that was why he liked them. He had meant it from his heart, he hadn’t been trying to be a ‘smooth talker’ like Lightning thought him to be. His eyes sparkled, he had brought enough fireworks to have a great showing, people would love them when it became dark.
The grin on his face slipped away when he glanced up to see Hope walking toward them. The scowl on his face made his eyes dim. He had regretted letting Hope’s mother get involved a million times over. He hadn’t wanted that to happen, but she had wanted to help, and he hadn’t known about Hope, or he wouldn’t have let her. He caught his eye, and nodded to him. He knew Hope was on Lightning’s side on this, and that he shouldn’t be with Serah. He didn’t care what everyone thought though, he just wanted to be with Serah forever, and he would find a way to do that.
He could see the look of timidness, and though he would just slap something back in his face, he tried to include him. “Hello Hope…did you come by yourself on Alexander?” He was impressed that he had come by himself. He felt sure he would have come with Vanille, but apparently not. “I’m glad you’re here!” He smiled, but he also knew he was just going to get a glare from the young boy. He did mind, he didn’t like people hating him, who did? But as long as he knew Serah loved him, he didn’t need anyone else…

"Hey missed me already?" "Hey Zack no problem you said you wanted tons of food right? We are here to enjoy the day and I also brought bottles of beer from the bar too" "Hi Strom its nice to meet you.....I am glad you could make it here." "Are you sure you want to do that today..... tell everyone about our engagement?" Cloud saw no problem with telling everyone about the engagement. But if she was a bit scared to he would respect that as well....He was just so happy that she was finally here with him....He was not feeling left out now...Now that every body seemed to have a girl...."I would love to tell everyone. But if you don't want to we don't have to I'm just glad you are here with me now...But Zack's already noticed my happiness...I'm sure he's puzzled with that...." He replied as he grabbed her hand and kissed it gently....He missed her greatly....Even if it was a few hours....He worried as well.....She knew that from when they were both alone in Aerith's Church....
“Serah!” Cloud heard Snow call out....As Snow was happy as well that Serah was now here....."Didn't think anyone else would be here... I see we meet again Noctis..." "Her name’s Serah... this is my sister." Cloud smiled out of the corner of his eye....As he saw Serah was introduced to him....Cloud walked over to Serah and grabbed her hand and kissed it gently......"I'm glad to finally meet you Serah....Lightning's mentioned you before with me....I hope you have a good time...." Cloud was being quite the charmer right now....If not for falling in love with Tifa and confessing his feelings, he would have kept all of this bottled inside....
Cloud was just so happy that he was surrounded with his friends....And was really enjoying the sun rays that were working on his tan....He walked over and grabbed a towel that was laying on the ground and stretched out....As he laid down on it and placed his sunglasses on....And just sighed in relief....He was actually having fun! Nothing could destroy his spirit now....He was finally loosening up as well....He looked over at Tifa...And smiled....."Tifa babe....Come on...." He insisted....God she looked amazing in that bathing suit of hers.....
