Xigbar
“Do you always have to stare at me like I just drowned your goldfish?"
Age: Maybe late 40’s
Family: N/A
Race: Nobody
Side: Evil/Organization XIII
Job: Organization member
Items: Potions, pouch with munny, healing items.
Accessories: look above
Personality: Xigbar has a laid-back and cocky attitude, and likes to taunt his enemies to put them off-guard, though only has limited success in doing so. When not on missions, he usually enjoys eavesdropping on his fellow members. He relies heavily on instinct rather than smarts for both his choices and fights, making him extremely unpredictable in battle. He also has a habit of saying, “As if.“ Xigbar speaks with an accent, possibly emphasizing his laid-back nature. With three of the other members, Xigbar gets his comic relief due to his frequent sarcasm and wise cracks. He is probably the most sarcastic of them all, unlike Axel and Larxene who know when to be serious. He never breaks character and even in his battles, he still finds time to make his comments. He also uses pet names for some of the other members. He calls Roxas “kiddo” or “tiger” while in the Grey Are and on various missions. He calls Xion “poppet,” and has once called Axel “Flamesilocks.”
Despite his friendly nature, Xigbar is very uncaring to the other members of the Organization. He once told Roxas that it didn’t bother him about what happened to the other members at Castle Oblivion, and, in the final meeting, he jokingly, somewhat, remarked, “Seems like we’re getting a lot of more free seats.” Despite his high rank, Xigbar never gets high authority like Saix or Marluxia, but, instead, is sent on missions. This has something to do with his personality as Xigbar prefers field work to more administrative positions. He also has a tendency to spy on other members of the Organization. Along with the rest of the Organization, he considers Roxas to be a traitor, and he supports this view more than any of than any other members. He’s the only one who really states it while fighting Sora.
History: Xigbar appears for the first time when Xion joins the Organization. He is shocked when his seemingly good friend, Demyx, reveals the annihilations that took place at Castle Oblivion. He later joins Roxas on a recon mission to Agrabah, where they overhear Aladdin and Jasmine discussing the rebuilding of their city after many sandstorms strike. He later decides to challenge the Keyblade’s chosen one at the Olympus Coliseum when he first enters the Games. While there, he claims to be “caring about his future.” Their fight is cut short by a Guard Armor that later appeared. He later discussed the defaulting Xion with Xemnas and Saix in Where Nothing Gathers, later challenging the Replica in Wonderland. There he sees her as Ventus, and she is able to quickly strike him down with the power she sapped from Roxas.
Not long after Sora and his two companions woke up and traveled to Hallow Bastion, they engaged a number of Dusk Nobodies in battle. After being led away from the center of town, the trio heard several voices mocking them, but they could not find them. After Sora places a demand that they reveal who they are, the remaining members, 7 of them-having lost 5 members to Sora already, and two others due to desertion), materialize, laughing. Though they are hooded, they were recognized. Most of the members eventually departs, except for Xigbar, who is still cloaked and hooded. He stays behind to taunt Sora further, making them feel anxious about the real power of the Organization. He also openly compares the similarities between a look Sora gives him, and one given to him by the Key of Destiny, himself. He encounters Sora again at the gates to the Emperor’s throne room in the Land of Dragons, where he is mistaken by Sora for Riku. Xigbar removes his hood, revealing otherwise, and remarking that he’s never heard of anyone named Riku. He summons his Snipers to distract Sora while he escapes. It works, although the Nobodies were defeated, and he, Xigbar, was able to continue his mission of summoning an enormous Heartless to harvest hearts for the Organization’s plans. He managed to set the Storm Rider on the city, but it was soon destroyed.
His final appearance before his head was inside the Organization XIII’s stronghold. He helped Sora defeat many heartless with a rain of arrows. He walks into view, mocking Sora by asking if he had been a good boy, echoing the words from his first encounter. He then states how Sora had put the Organization into a “pickle,” and he supposed that was the reason the Keyblade chose him. He also makes a remark on how Sora wasn’t “half the hero the others were.” The others being Ventus, Terra, and Aqua. Xigbar then engages Sora in a battle, referring to him as “Roxas” and expressing his “anger” at him for betraying the Organization, being the only member to openly do this. In the end, he is defeated and begins to fade into the darkness. Before he goes, Sora asks him why he, Xigbar, called him “Roxas,” to which he merely responds with a, “Wouldn’t you like to know?”
Weapon: Xigbar wields two ranged weapons called Arrowguns, with this specific model called Sharpshooter. The top of each gun bears a pattern similar to the Nobody symbol. They are purplish, strangely shaped weapons that appear to be somewhat similar to crossbows.
Ability: Manipulate space and summon Snipper Nobodies.
Magic: Simple magic, doesn’t really bother to use any.
Crushes: Xigbar has no crushes on anyone. He might have had a fleeting one on Larxene, that having something to do with the fact that she was the only girl at the time, but that left him as soon as he found out how Savage the Savage Nymph could be.
