Yuffie Kisaragi
"I am the champion of the earth and the sky. I am the conqueror of evil. The single white rose of Wutai...Yuffie Kisaragi!"
Age: 19
Family: Godo and Kasumi Kisaragi && Tifa, Cid, & Cloud
Race: Human
Side: Light
Job: Materia Hunter/Ninja(Assassin)
Items: Midnight Anklet (Increases dark resistance and greatly increases defense), Mythril Ring (Increases magic and extremely increases strength), Potion, Drive Recovery
Accessories: (Look above)
Personality: Yuffie can be a verty interesting girl. She is usually hyper and kind, with some added cocky and rude comments added into the mix. When something wrong is done to her, she will strike out and become aggressive. She’s also a bit of a tomboy. Because of her cocky nature, she usually gives herself titles. “Great ninja Yuffie” and “the single white rose of Wutai” are just some of them. Yuffie is also very sneaky. Every once in a while, her selfish side will get the best of her, but she, truly, does what what is best for everyone. She believes that the light is, and always will be, stronger. She is very determined when it comes to protecting her freiends. She won’t back down from a fight, but she prefers not to get into them in the first place. And, as a part of her ninja-ness, she’s devious.
Despite being the daughters of Wutai’s leader, she has little to any tolerance for tradition, and she is highly rebellious to the old-fashioned ways of Wutai. This, of course, causes her to constantly clash with her father. She is also very clever and cunning, able to trick most people with ease. Despite that, she’s not that enthusiastic about heroics, but she’s still a reliable ally. She’s also very vain, finding herself beautiful. Yuffie also has the tendency to get sick whenever she’s on a moving vehicle. It doesn’t really matter if it’s an airship or a boat. She’s also obsessed with Materia, although she claims she merely wants it because Shinra banned it in Wutai, and she simply wants to restore Wutai’s glory.
History: When she was 9, Yuffie encounters Zack Fair when he invaded Fort Tamblin. Despire her age, she described herself to be “Wutai’s Greatest Warrior.” Zack played along with her frolics, and she runs off. After losing to Shinra, her father, Godo Kisaragi, the leader of Wutai, began to turn their home into a tourist attraction for outsiders. This didn’t suit her at all, and she, eventually, began to run off, stealing Materia from unaware travelers. Later on, she sends a letter to Zack, who is at Majo Reactor 5, stating that she’s looking for someone to help her steal treasure under the alias of “Treasure Princess.” By the end of their working relationship, Yuffie managed to steal Zack’s Bahamut Fury Materia, but returns it when she’s unable to use it. (Crisis Core )
When she was a little more than 11 years old, Yuffie encountered a Turk in Wutai where AVALANCHE had set up a stronghold in the pagoda. Pursued by AVALANCHE, she was saved by Turk and quickly started scheming to seal their Materia, moments after learning what it even was She also followed the player Turk into the AVALANCHE base, and stole the detonators for bombs that had been planted in the pagoda and she had to be chased in order to get it back. However, she accidentally pressed the detonator switch, and she and the Turk must cooperate to escape. One they meet with Tseng, she realized that the player Turk is with Shinra, and she flees.ie accidentally presses the detonator switch, and she and the Turk must cooperate to escape. Once they rendezvous with Tseng, she realizes the player Turk is with Shinra and flees. (Before Crisis)
Later, when Yuffie was 16, she established herself as a Materia hunter. She stole [the party’s] Materia when they enter Wutai, forcing them to cahse her and save her from Don Corneo before she returns it. She then decided to prove herself to her father by beating the bosses of Wutai’s Five Story Pogoda, and causing her father to bein to understand the reasoning behind her position. [Assuming she went on the date with Cloud at the end of disc one] On her date with Cloud, however, things didn’t go according to plan as he ignored all her movements toward him, and gets smacked more than twice. She kissed him, though, (on the cheek). Though, Cloud, to his credit, merely stayed quiet afterwards, creating an awkward silence between them making Yuffie feel embarrassed. She later went to Midgar with Vinvent in order to evacuate the citizens of Midgar and Shinra personnel before the Meteor hit. And, after placing an injured Rufus Shinra aboard a helicopter, Yuffie warns Vincent to be careful in his search of the Mako Cannon. She later saves him as the building collapses from a lightning strike. Yuffie is the central character in Case of Yuffie, where she returns to Wutai to help the people rebuild after Meteor's fall. After her return, Geostigma begins to spread, and the "Midgar illness" is blamed on Yuffie as she was at Midgar when Meteor struck. Yuffie thus resolves to find the true cause of the disease and a Materia to cure it, searching around the world and helping the infected as best she can. (FF VII & Case of Yuffie)
Nearly two years later, Yuffie could be heard when Cloud’s cell phone was lost and descended into the water, where she says, “Surprise! It’s me, Yuffie,” although her voice was difficult to pick out. She mentioned that the children from Wutai had gone missing, and she told Cloud to call her if he knew why. She appeared, in person, during the battle in Edge. She arrived via Cid’s airship (showing signs of motion sickness after parachuting down.) She helped defeat Bahumut SIN, and brought Cloud’s collection of Materia to the ruins of Midgar aboard the Shera. Yuffie also sent a “Closed for Business” sign to Barret through the Strife Delivery Service as a way of getting Cloud to take a day off. She also seemed to call Vincent Valentine in the time after Advent Children since Vincent send a message to her, via Cloud, claiming she had no right to call his phone. (Advent Children)
Having joined the World Regenesis Organization, Yuffie was in charge of the espionage and intelligence gathering. Yuffie worked to fight against Deepground in 2010. She was the one who rescued Vincent from Rosso the Crimson in the Shinra Mansion, where the bloodthirsty Tsviet was about to kill him, and she took him back to the WRO Heardquarters. Onboard the Shera, she still carried her motion sickness with her, and lead the troops from the airships to the ground for the Battle of Midgar to shut down a generator inside the Shinra building. Then, she and Vincent went into Deppground in attempt to kill Weiss, but are stopped by Nero, who sucked her into the Darkness, and Vincent went to save her, since Nero’s Darkness had no affect on him. She and other AVALANCHE members aided Vincent in Omega’s destruction, and is seen last in Seventh Heaven, asking Tifa if she has heard anything from Cloud, most likely concerning Vincent’s whereabouts. (Dirge of Ceberus)
