Noctis' eyes widened again as Oerba stated her mark of the l'Cie was on her thigh. He thought to himself that she barely was wearing anything that covered skin so was she not conscious that the mark may give her status away? As for Lightning, if she had a marking, he had never known it. Oerba was an all new level of directness to him but he just looked at her to believe what she said, then back at Lightning after replying her.
"It isn't truly knowing about you...though, what I would do, would be what I expect myself to do..." He sounded like he twisted her words, but that was because he hadn't thought that far about what he was supposed to do now that he found out she was also l'cie; it didn't matter to him for the time being. "Being a L'Cie wasn't what I would've assumed you are...but it is acceptable as I understand, Vanille."
Ellipses came to Noctis' mind, there were mirroring his silence as he agreed that there would only come a time in the future that they may all chance to cross paths again. For now, Lightning would be the distant 'friend' he had and Oerba, who wanted to seek refuge with him had more options. "It seems it is. Until then..." Noctis managed to say and nodded to indicate farewell and good tidings to follow Lightning's departure. Some part of his true voiceless conscience whispered to him that she didn't need him to explain.

Oerba was looking at him, and she was wanting some refuge in the house that she wanted to go into. She didn't mind the entire thing that she was trying to do. She was just trying to have a warm place to live. She was looking at Noctis with her pleading eyes. She was having a trouble time of living she was trying to do what she wanted to do because she hasn't done anything else to do.

This had to be a more successful second time he said goodbye to Lightning. Successful in the sense that he could actually speak fluidly. Yet, it felt as though something was repeated...and something else was amiss. He had no time to recollect what it had been like the last time, but something felt nostalgic now that he was watching her turn her back on him and fade into the distance again.
He didn't count on Oerba's gaze being fixated on him this entire time and when he discovered it was, his heart skipped a beat in panic. Nothing showed on his face, nor through his body language but it did happen, he was consistently dumbfounded with shyness at times like this. The cool facade blocked that part from exposing itself and Noctis met her pleading eyes with his own indescribable plea. To fall back into his comfort zone of not having to deal with not knowing what to do, unpredictable events, people he would be embarassed by...so far there had been a few...unknown to themselves, they had power over him when it came to his 'problems with extroversion'. An endless chain of things!
After what seemed like forever, he said nothing, walking over to Oerba and firmly grasped her bangled wrist. Perhaps she would be ill after this...and then, what should be done? what should be said? A tsunami of questions came at him, which he had to ignore if he was to follow through with honouring help. Instead of saying the usual facts, that could be frightening because he believed it may not be wise to tell her precautions of how they were to travel... as he had forwarned Lightning the time he teleported her. Noctis spoke uncannily like his potential alter ego although quite forced to finish. "This will feel different, but ...You should be alright when we get there. If not, I will tend to it as a responsibility if it is best."
At this, his summon barricaded them together. Then, like a tourbillon spinning, it began swiping the picture of the landscaping around them away from view; things were a flurry now and instantly, she was gone with him.
