"There's no more home me from the Sera race tribe anymore." Oerba said. Oerba looked at him, and she wanted to make sure that nothing went wrong. Oerba just looked at him with a concerned look on her face. Oerba took him by the hand, and she looked deep into his eyes. She just nipped on his neck to seal her mark. The L'Cie mark that she has hidden hides all, and she given him the mark Fal'Cie. She just wanted to make sure that she would make him see what he would want to do now. Oerba looked at him, and she taken off one bracelet that contains something sealed within, and broken the spell she put it around his wrist.

"What are you doing? and...you have no home, then where do you reside? This..." His speech came too fast, in a string. The nip she gave him on his neck was very unusual and playful but he didn't know it was supposed to seal her mark or become a gesture of possession. In fact, he had no idea why she did that and blinked repeatedly whilst grasping his hollow personality by it's wit's ends.
He was somewhat immobile...paralysed as she placed her bracelet around his wrist, which he couldn't believe would fit and spoke to break his own hypnotised silence. "Vanille, you do not need to give me. Is this not your personal posession? I am only a stranger to you, though ..." I am spellbound now; this isn't the correct reaction...I need a sign. This nip has... Noctis finally had control over his limbs again and touched his neck lightly, concentrating on the feeling. "Binding me to you does not ensure you are bound to me..." The very concept of presenting a gift or something personal to him was alien and his blunt questions weren't the type she was going to like.
She was so outlandishly spontaneous, Noctis in his twenty years and counting didn't ever claim a prize, nor another, and he was certainly above the same to all. He seemed to think it was too late now that Vanille was so pure about how she felt, at first sight...? The doubts in his head about whether this was all real, sounded sarcastic as he shook them away and returned the gaze into her eyes, searching for his self guidance to return.

"It's fine I got a lot more anyhow." Oerba said. Oerba kissed him once again, and she wanted to make sure that nothing would happen to Noctis. "I do care about you of course." Oerba said. Oerba wanted to make sure that nobody would hurt Noctis. "I be your ally." Oerba said. Oerba looked at him, and she wanted to show how she feels so she kissed him all over again. Oerba is loving Noctis, and she wants him to be by her side. "Be positive that it would work out, and it will." Oerba said.

Okay, that last line, defeated his initial thoughts that she was just ...raving... she knows what she is doing and saying; it seems I have fallen into a manipulation that grew from something innocent to be disturbingly uncontrollable.
As she kissed him again, he placed a hand on her bare shoulder and took a step backwards, letting it fall back to his side as he did so. All the while still looking at her searching her soul, Noctis rewound his mind and realised she hadn't truly answered any of his questions. She only answered what described her feelings of attachment to him and her interests in what this was turning out to be; they were taking it so differently he almost was fearful.
"I am neutral...if you are my ally, is it not the best that you stayed out of my problems in the case that you may be...hurt?" After all, he was at war randomly, called upon whenever and she had decided to give herself so wholly away to someone who was unworthy of possessing another's feelings that were more than platonic. He was misunderstanding her but decided not to argue about the bracelet she had given him as her said reason seemed a fair point.
"This is going really fast...was I to promise you from the beginning that I would be there for you, always? As much as I have tried to be there for those who needed me, it has never been easy. Vanille, what do you expect of me?"

"Nothing romantic of course just knowing you be my friend is enough for me, but if that's not enough I guess I go back home, and stay no one wants me around anymore I got no one not you not anyone I'm all alone in this world so what if I want someone to care about me its not gonna happen." Oerba said. Oerba started to walk away, but then fainted she hit her body hard to the ground. She just didn't care about herself anymore. She just wanted to stay away from Noctis she wanted to be his friend. Oerba's clothes got all muddy, and bloodied up she just didn't want anything to go wrong, but it all has.

As much as he liked this girl, Noctis' eyes narrowed as he listened to what she said and then his irises began to adopt a purplish tinge as his mood affected him. They were always a dead give away to how he felt but no one read them so long as they kept changing colours; he wasn't enjoying the fact that she started to walk away again, as though his behaviour towards her which could not be blamed, was unpardonable and wrong. It almost wounded his pride and jumbled up his entire person as he stood torn between revealing himself to her, and maintaining a more strict composure. "Do friends act like this to eachother...?" Half heartedly asking himself, his voice was faint and almost carried away with the slight breeze that was coming with the impending sunset.
Furthermore, she stated everything that reminded him of a self pity he once had, which he discarded at an early age; he was truly alone in his world. Unable to develop himself the way everyone else had, unable to find someone who understood him or anyone who stood by him as he faced his enemies. He was surrounded by those who ordered him, controlled him and it was sickening. It was never right for anyone to feel alone...and hopeless, but it is the despair that kept me going. What now that she feels the same because of me...is my logic supposed to ignore the idea of her not caring about me too, as she had only moments ago contradicted?
Noctis felt himself sinking, wondering if it was time to flick the 'caring' switch in his mind to be off. "It is the hope that people can't let go off which makes us feel lonely." As a young man, he had never experienced this, and no matter how many times he was reminding himself, it just felt pointlessly like he was giving an excuse to what terrible way he had dealt with Vanille. He could go to her of course but he did feel a hostility as she walked away, and then she fainted.
Nothing was to be said then, he couldn't discuss anything between his thoughts or her or anyone and in an instant was by her side. He contemplated what to do but could come up with nothing except that he would gather her tattered self up and send her to what first aid he knew. Unless, there was a chance she would wake up... even in his arms, she would probably be devastated he even bothered with her if she had initially wanted to take herself away from him. The only good thing he could think of, was that time never ran out with him as he travelled between it occasionally.

Oerba woken up in his arms, and she looked at him. She just felt alone, and afraid that she would be hit. "Just hit me, and get it over with." Oerba said. Oerba looked at him, and she felt safe in his arms, but he didn't wanted to be her friend. She just didn't know what he would do. "I meant what I said I wanted to be your friend, but if you don't want me to then what we supposed to go from here?" Oerba asked.

Though she was surrounded Lightning couldn't care less. She wasn't even afraid her only thought was of the fastest way to take down these monsters that decided to show up. Lightning sighed she didn't have time to waste here more importantly she had to find her sister and others.
She glanced around seeing no means of escaping as those creatures closed in on her. Another sighed as she drew her Blaze Edge only to point it at the Bloodbaths. These monsters... they looked like a fish, with amphibian's arms and legs.
They lived in the water most of their lives but came out to land at times to hunt. She could understand why most people feared them. Not only were they repulsive in their appearance but their strength and love for destruction scared everyone. That and because they always traveled in groups. If you find one always know the others are close by.
One tried to creep up one her with an attack. Lightning turned and with one strike she took one down stabbing it in the heart. "One down four more to go." She lifted her sword as it dripped with the blood of the first Bloodbath and pointed it at the others as if waiting to see who would attack next.
What she didn't expect was that they would all strike at once but she knew what to do as they jumped to attack with a tap Lightning activated her electric shield and jumped away. With the speed she had no problem avoiding their attacks. One came from behind her and she jumped up again and only to strike her sword down cutting the bloodbath before falling into another area and the other three all followed.
She only sighed these monsters never seemed to give up. With a flash her sword became her name using lightning as her main attack that and without wasting another second she slashed and cut down the bloodbaths till there were no more left. She only hoped that was the last of them but one tagged along and was hiding in the shadows.
All this time she didn't realize where she was standing or who was around another tap of her fingers and the electric shield around her faded and as the last bloodbath fell she shielded her sword with a sighed.

The way she looked at him now, as her turquoise eyes opened, was full of fear and anticipation of something bad which he could do to her. It would have been heartbreaking to think she thought he was about to attack her when he had devoted only help but he felt nothing of it; it was just indescribable.
"Why...would I hit you? You damage yourself enough...I need to clarify the difference between a friend and more is how they interact...I didn't" There were thunderous noises coming from near by now, and it drew closer to them as dust flew up in the distance signifying to Noctis that there was trouble. The volume increased as he continued to speak but he believed Vanille wouldn't hear him or want to hear him...his speech with her would be one sided as it flew out her other ear since she was strongly displeased with him currently. "say I don't ...want...? How is one to want... Vanille I need to know more than you, where to go from here." In some ways he was almost glad she wouldn't really hear him or that she would try to ignore him as he said this because he didn't know what was about to happen.
Noctis faced her seriously now, a darker look appearing on his face as his eyes brightened to become a deep shade of umber; they were turning red as his hand motioned to her but then retracted itself in respect that she didn't want contact. A clash happened and the ground beneath them shook, the platform itself was sturdy enough to hold but he knew something had arrived and he stood up sharply, turning to walk in its direction at an uneven pace; he analysed the sound and was prepared.
As he was about to teleport, he saw before his eyes, vicious creatures that were amphibious...gathered to strike down at a resistance. His weapons were summoned in the sparkling light aura that encircled him but they were still translucent and only visions because he halted as a figure with light pink hair emerged and the gunblade he had seen one gloomy night, spilled the blood the creatures. It was Lightning, and he stood in awe, watching a moving picture as gusts of dust shot past him; the creatures fell to the ground conjuring up a brief and miniature tornado of grime.
His vision cleared. Noctis turned back to Vanille to see if she was alright, relunctant to think about the next step; the spinning force field shield his weapons had created had protected them both in range of the blasts that came during Lightning's fight.

"I don't know where to go from here I'm not alright." Oerba said. Oerba just didn't looked at him, and she just stood on the ground, and she wanted to make sure that nothing would go wrong. She just looked at Noctis for the final time with her hands up towards him. "I want to be your friends, but you probably don't want me to be your friend so hit me I want you to hit me." Oerba said. Oerba looked at him, and she would like to be anyone's friend. She hated that fact.
So, Noctis would you like to be as close as a friend could be?" Oerba asked.
Oerba looked at him, and she show him a kind of kindness in her eyes that she hasn't shown anyone. She just wanted to make sure that she wanted to be his friend that she would like to be seen, and as much as someone would like to be seen. She just wanted Noctis, and everyone else to be her friend. She just didn't know what else she would do she just wanted to make sure that Noctis would be her friend.
Oerba looked around, and she wanted to make sure that she wanted to make sure Noctis is all right. "Noctis, are you all right?" Oerba asked. Oerba looked at him with a smile on her face once again.
Oerba is acting all cute and cheerful, but also mysterious she wanted to make sure that nobody gets to see any side of her she let her kindness out, and about for a little while. She still have some issues with her life with the tribe.

Lightning turned noticing the ones there. "Noctis" She remembered meeting him a few nights ago. She glanced down at the dead Bloodbaths on the ground before stepping away from them and then saw the unconscious girl with him.
Although they have never met Lighting knew about the girl and her name. She once made it her priority to know of every l'Cie that existed. There were only a handful of them so it wasn't hard to keep track of them and with the government trying to hunt them down not many survived. She took a step closer to them and then looked at the girl.
"Is she alright?" She asked glancing at the unconscious girl but she soon woke up. "I am sorry about that… " She pointed back at the pile of monsters bodies. "That’s why I always carry a weapon… you never know when monsters like those will decide to strike" She was answering a question one he asked a few nights ago.

I don't know what to say about her not being alright... Noctis silently thought to himself as he looked at Lightning and realised she was actually talking to him. They hadn't met in months and it wasn't that he had forgotten her, he had expected her to never cross paths with him again.
"For the last time, I will not hit you." Have you even considered what that would make me? On top of that, I take no interest in hitting of starting fights. The great thing about the prince was that, he had nothing against fighting women, not that he had done but there was just not distinction between anyone who was his enemy. When they are not his enemy, he refused to combat them, and Oerba was ridiculous if she expected him to be emotional and outward about his stress.
Noctis answered Oerba as she told him everything. It was sensible and nonsensical at the same time; she switched masks as one does at a masquerade. One minute she was in dire need of comforting, the next she was the one giving support to him. "We ...are friends. Closeness doesn't come upon request...and particularly, it takes much longer...with me." There, he had admitted something about himself to her, was it enough to contain her wanting to know what could be possible between them? She was looking at him again, with a flood of what kindness might have looked like if they were presented in two big reflecting pools on her face. Under his predicament, he didn't even think to beautify this description.
Lightning had cut across before Oerba awoke and regained consciousness, though Noctis had doubts this consciousness was the correct one because she had been so upset; it was too dramatic a contrast, the way she was at present as opposed to before. He couldn't bring himself to face the Oerba who was acting all cute and cheerful but waved his gloved hand and sent the liquid like outlines of his weapons, still suspended in mid air, away. Looking between Lightning, and Oerba, he answered both women simultaneously. "There's nothing to be sorry about...and I am me."
He furrowed his brows and thought hard, then continued with Oerba. "Vanille, if alright is being myself, then I am." There was no way he could smile at her even when she was smiling radiantly at him; he was at this time a little too screwed up and wired.
Redirecting his attention to Lightning, he was glad she answered his long awaited question posed to her so many moons ago. "I can see for myself now...though it is another unpredicted meeting..." He scoured the depths of his inner self to find a suitable reaction to her appearing, and the relief he discovered he had upon her arrival; it was nothing to do with fighting. "The city is grateful for what you have done..." his thanks came out of his mouth as his scanning eyes declared, the peace that was restored now that she had slain the monsters.

Noctis batted her eyes at Noctis. She just wanted to make sure that she stay being cute. "Look, Noctis i do really like you of course." Oerba said. Oerba looked around, and she wanted to make sure that nothing would hurt anyone. "Well um, Noctis if its alright with you could I live with you?" Oerba asked. Oerba looked around, and she just giggled a sweet little giggled. She just wanted to make sure that he would be himself. "I have no problem with you being yourself." Oerba said.

The voice of Oerba trailed to him hauntingly, and he decided to take her seriously to give her a chance with expressing herself. What he was about to see was the epitomy of her cutesyfying herself and he merely watched, slightly dumbfounded but noting her fluttering eyelashes and just the way she spoke and giggled. "You won't like where I live...but I will let you decide that on your own later."
He supposed she truly needed a place to stay and there was no harm in it, there was an abundance in space and accomodation in his boring home. It was no castle but it stood like a fortress, sheltering the crystal and being a relic of his memory; it was the sacred sanction for him to be away from this world.
"I'd hope you are sure about that..." Bluntly, he told her his anxiety about what she'd said. He didn't know how he could let her stay with his household if she was going to be unhappy all the time, although in life, happiness was close to nothing to him. Studying her, he exhaled soundlessly and readjusted his opinions of her as he definitely preferred her this way as to what she had been like before; a tidal wave of shock for him. This all, including the exchange of words between Oerba and himself must seem so daunting to Lightning...and he didn't want her to have a preconception of him in any way other than what he wanted her to think exactly of him as.

"Oh I'm sure that I will like it." Oerba said. Oerba just batted her eyelashes, and keep up with the cute stuff. She just wanted to make sure that nothing went wrong. She just looked at him, and she was loving him. She just wanted to be with him, and she is happy. "I am genuine happy now." Oerba said.
