"Forgetting to live is basic compared to never having truly lived. I cannot define lived for myself, though...each to their own..." As she had paused, waiting for him to enrich their chatter of more, opinionated responses to 'life questions', he needed to say something direct for a change. "So I wonder...it'd be much better to be like everyone else."
He had said this before, and still kept to it though he couldn't imagine what it would all be like if he wasn't who he was, being just another clone in the population of 'normals'. "We slip back in time knowing it is impossible to return there but it is wise to avoid making the same mistakes when occasional, valuable teachings... are found while reminiscing."
Noctis felt movement on his face, he almost wanted to smile but then at the thought of it froze, and couldn't as usual. Relaxing, he was going to skip talking this part about power because it was a debatable subject, and he wasn't ready for that yet. Lifting his hand so it was in a defensive position in level with his chin, he conjured shapes that grew in size, and distorted the backdrop like water flowing on a reflective surface. These shapes formed themselves into sharp objects, translucent and glowing, but they were obviously defined weapons now and more than ten in number. In truth there were about twenty but Noctis rarely ever used them all, he only grabbed what was convenient and practiced with the engined falchion blade as though it were his favourite.
There was a very large, halo-like blue light glowing around him with symbols circulating in a pattern that spiraled as a hurricane-eye would. Everything was luminescent and it was time to reach for what he wanted. Noctis held his right hand out and in a blaze, the falchion was in his hand. Thus he stood, pulling the sword back and allowing the many hollow ones above him to spin briefly; they were doing so at such speed that she could see he used them as a shield of impenetrable force.
Lifting his left hand, fingers outstretched, he pointed indifferently somewhere, without closing his entire hand and the weapons realigned themselves to attack that one area he had directed, still floating above and awaiting his command. His eyes began to change colour and she could probably see that soon, as his image zapped out of where he had been.
"This is everything I possess...and what is around you." Saying this, he was now taking another step towards her as he'd reappeared directly in front of her, sword still in hand but not raised. "There is much talk about ...the crystals..." There was a look he gave her, that asked if she would know about them and gave hints of why he didn't elaborate there and then but instead chose to follow up with something about himself.
"This is a home, I live to protect it... and to keep the crystals safe... as my family has done for years before me. I honour that, but no more of what this city asks from me. Being the sole heir to a dynasty sought to be vanquished by its neighbours because of the greed and corruption that posess many in power, I do not have the choice of walking streets alone in the day." He carried the weight of his world on his own and it was actually rather difficult to tell her about himself in a way that didn't flat out state his duties and position; it was more personal...the way he manipulated his words before saying them. Was that an answer to her?

"Hmm I don't know… I don't think I can live like everyone else free from care or even ignorant in life only to accept what is in front of me..." She paused only to return to her former position with her arms crossed as she stood there. "I am who I am and I have no intention of changing that and I think the same goes to you." This much she could tell but the rest was still a mystery to her.
Nodding at his words but still waiting for an answer to follow. She remained silent waiting for some kind of response but instead he lifted his hands and with that instance sharp bladed formed around him. Lightning stood there in amazement to this kind of power one she had never saw back home before or ever knew existed.
She stood still though without a word as if waiting to see more. Not only could he summon masses of sharp blades at will but also he use them to create a shield an impenetrable force and then strike the enemy when they least expect it.
Lightning reached for her Blaze Edge once he stepped closer to her. Though she still didn't trust him completely she didn't feel the need to draw her gunblade. It was as if Noctis was answering her question but instead of using words he showed her a little demonstration of just what he could do.
"I see… so that’s your power. Summoning blades at will that is something I have never seen before." She did enjoy this little illustrate and although she could summon Eidolon at will with the help of her crystal it still was different from this power she has just seen.
"The crystals…" Lightning paused with a blank expression. How could she not know them the fal'Cie ? Enemies to her and the worlds and now that she was a l'Cie she too was marked as an enemy. By a choice she never had a say in…
This city was different from her home. Nothing looked the same and so Lightning was sure the crystals here were different as well. If Noctice protected them and this place then they couldn't be the fal'Cie she had in mind. "Interesting… so now that you have answered what I wanted it is your turn to ask what you wish to know." She waited her turn but first to hear his question so to know what to say.

"It's not only blades but an array of things...namely fused weapons."
She returned to a defensive position with her arms folded, and he said nothing of what she told him. There was a great logic behind what she suggested, but it was only his curiousity hidden in the shyness, that drove him to be stubborn about wanting to be different to who he was as of the moment.
"It comes with the power of the crystal protected by Kings...as for the control over it, I believe it is only by my blood." Only because of the heritage, I have no clue as to why I teleport...but to be able to fall through time and space happened a very long time ago. Noctis was thinking and eyeing her reaching for her Blaze edge; he didn't mind if she would think he was distrustful because no matter what he would still have illustrated her answer visually rather than verbally.
"Here, we merely call it a Crystal having taken all precaution to protect it, including isolation. From your response...I see there is something you know about it? or the likes, perhaps even the opposite..." Probing at her blank expression and quietness, he commenced his questioning. Knowing that she could draw her gun blade at him but hadn't, he released his sword at the hilt. As it dropped an inch in slow motion then faded along with the rest of his summon, there were glitter particles in the air as though fireworks had occurred. "You have a technique to blend firearms with a blade, in combat...? And...you operating alone, gives me an idea that you have a greater power than that blade too..." Or comrades would be sacrificial...

Lightning listened to his words with interest. So now she has learned something new two things actually and though she didn't show it Lightning was actually intrigued to know more but for now this will do. She turned to glance around the corner then up at the night sky before returning to face Noctis as his weapons faded with glitter in the air. It reminded Lightning of the fireworks festival back in her homeland a memory she wanted to forget.
"Though we are from the same world our homes are completely different…" It was hard to believe that their cities belonged to the same world with the differences she kept seeing not to mention the fal'Cie. She remained silent for a moment pausing to take every detail in.
"In my homeland we call them fal'Cie and unlike here they are considered enemies to the world along with anyone that aliens with them." 'Why was I chosen… why was she?' her mind wondered of thoughts of her and her sister. Just why was she chosen to become one?
Lightning had only three options in front of her but still hadn't made a decision on what to choose she came here to clear her mind so she could decide what path to take.
"Your vigilant and sharp I see… well you are right this isn't the only power I posses. Where I come from a sword alone is not enough to win a fight others should be included." She paused only to lift her Blaze Edge up to show it to him. "This is not an ordinary blade. If you take a closer look you can see it's both a gun and a sword." She explained lowering her sword and with a swing changed it to a gun and back again. "I also use magic and combine it with my attacks to increase the damage..." She lifted her hand to reveal small metal imprints on her gloves. One located on her index finger and the other on her thumb.
"This activates a Gravity Bomb with it I can define gravity and increase my speed." She activated it with a tap of her fingers to form an electrical shield around her and sped past him jumping high in the air and with a flip she landed on the ground. "And last…" she paused to lower her hands with another tap to deactivate the shield. "I have a crystal that helps me summon my Eidolon Odin." She waited to see his reaction to the world 'crystal.' Would he know what she meant?

"Completely different? How...?" Noctis couldn't imagine a different world to live in which still gave someone the same enjoyment to wander around empty streets, and slaying monsters. It was all the same to him, as his imagination ranged only to something paralleling this or morphed.
There is also the fal'Cie...why did they call it that? He figured she wouldn't know the origin of their names and it was typically not going to provide him with information about her, if he did ask...or so his ignorance thought.
"Are they truly the same as the Crystal here? If so..." we are enemies. His subconscience finished his sentence for him. In spite of that being a possibility at the stage, he didn't want to fight her...it is good not to open up so often in case the small talk moved him enough to dislike his objectives... "So...are you here because you are aligned against the fal'Cie or alien with?" Changing the course of his thoughts, he made a deliberately silly question instead of facing the prospect of having to break the trust they now shared, if he was enemy to her.
"As are you." It was a compliment, he rarely received them though some part of him used to wish he received more, often but he wasn't as good as her at delivering them. It probably would mutilate the shyness in him... "Convenient...the type of magic you use is similar to mine?" He inspected her gunblade and took in every detail as his memory photographed it's design. The metal imprints on her gloves were peculiar too. Noctis would never know the feeling of weighing himself down with accessories or weapons alike; he tried to be normal as normal could be but it was still far fetched.
Noctis' hand was close to his chin as he studied her armor and weapon. The curiousity was satisfied then, because no sooner had he poised in wonder, she also demonstrated a skit and his thoughts fed on it as she performed something unearthly. It was short like a teaser and he paused as she deactivated the shield. "If you defy gravity and increase speed..." You have a close twin of my own abilities..."are they naturally magic you were born to use or...is that part of your Crystal's strength that somehow you posess?" This was quite naive of him, but as he hadn't seen her powers, he couldn't tell and neither did he know what this Crystal or Eidolon Odin was like. "I must know if your Crystal is like mine..." and right now, it sounds similar and as she possesses it, does this justify her solitude.

"I don't know how to explain it" Lightning admitted. She couldn't believe this herself at first no matter who she heard it from. That was until she saw the difference and finally understood what others meant. "My homeland is Cocoon if you travel there you would see what I mean." That was all she could say. It was always best to see things with one's eyes.
"Enemies… we might be" She finished his sentence knowing that Noctis was thinking about that as well. "In Cocoon the fal'Cie care about nothing more than the destruction of our planet. What made me consider them different is simply because you stated your side and that you protect this place and the crystals. If so then they are completely different from the ones in my home"
That wasn't hard to believe. Everything was different there so why wouldn't the fal'Cie be…? But she couldn't go on that thought alone Lightning needed more first before asserting anything. She turned to answer the second question. "For now I am on neither side but because I am a l'Cie my world consider me as an enemy and now the same allies I work with seek to hunt me down." She revealed the truth even though she wasn't asked about that detail.
"Is it…? I don't really know" She paused again only to gaze out at th empty street and waited to see if anymore questions would follow. "Crystals can grant their possessors with magic yes but for me I learned mine far before I obtained this crystal the only power it provides me with is the power to summon Odin…" Lightning stopped to think of the first time she called out her Eidolon in battle. The power it gave her was beyond anything she experianced before"This power… the crystals they are the mark of the l'Cie. They are given to help with the focus we must complete" She explained and waited to see if he had any more questions to ask. Her focus she still didn't reveal that part yet.

There was enough to take in for now, so there really wasn't a lot left that she could explain which he could absorb. The slightest bit of a frown shadowed his face and he let his hand drop back to his side; the buckle of his glove reflecting the blurry street light.
"Maybe there will be a day. Cocoon...It doesn't sound like I will be welcomed..."and much preparation will be needed if I am to venture with others, or alone. Then again there is no way of leaving this place as long as the Crystal is here and they rely on my presence. It would have to be taboo to leave...or a secret I am not sure of risking... Noctis was baited by the other world she came from but was shackled by his own.
"In that case, they must be different then...and still much is unknown to me about my own Crystal." It wasn't his but he really was the only one who was even close to posessing it so he simply referred to it this way. On top of it all, he prefer the idea that the rest of his world owned it too because they held no responsibility for it; it was more like they owned him.
"The fact you are neutral has made you an enemy to them; If you fight for your survival then you are against the Fal'Cie..." He summarised what she said, not bothering to suggest she could essentially be their lapdog and follow through with being hunted down; in that sense she would still be on their side to her death. Noctis decided he didn't think the fal'Cie were intelligent as the destruction of this planet was a snowball effect and they wouldn't exist in the end either. The people of Cocoon fear the fal'cie and are driven against the l'cie I assume...it must be worse than she lets on.
"Fair enough...there must be others out there who are L'Cie too? and hold on to their own crystals. They can't all be hunted down individually...do you not have uniformed resistance? Judging that you are alone, like me but there is a choice for you." The fal'cie probably makes it more of a point to track, trace, murder or control those with the power of the crystals if they wish to dominate everything but that also means that they desire the 'l'cie's abilities and would consider them useful... especially if they were within them Noctis was blabbering all these pros and cons to himself and saw no end to it.

Lightning let out a laugh there was a time when she was welcomed in Cocoon and actually admired by some but that time has long passed. "Funny how the world turned just because what I became… I am no longer welcomed there either" Shaking her head still she couldn't believe how everything changed all because of one promise to protect her sister.
"Then how about you tell me what you do know about your crystal. So I can understand why you fight to protect it." The more she knew the better and these crystals were just a mystery to her. What was their power and just why did he protect them? Maybe knowing this will bring her closer to the path she needs to take.
"There was a time when I fought for the fal'Cie… there was a time when I needed their power and without it felt lost… I was weak then but now I changed" Those times they were still fresh in her mind the memories were always there as remainders of what she once was that always kept her moving forward."Now I am lost between two decisions… follow my order and complete my focus to destroy Cocoon or save it…" she needed to make a decision before her time runs out.
"There are others but very few. Some were killed others died once they failed to complete their mission as a l'Cie. The crystals reside in out body's each one carrying a different mark and a different power." Pausing now maybe she has said too much about this topic.

"The Crystal I protect exists on it's own, separate from my physical being but as I can attain it's powers, it is defined as a special ability to see the 'light'. It has been connected with an old legend involving a goddess of the light and the powers that those who can see the 'light could posess."
Noctis sighed as he was not the only one who could see the light, and he was chosen without wanting to. There were many problems that he shied away from and could not act according to his beliefs; it all sparked from this Crystal. "As a result, marauders, some of unknown origin and whole armies seek to destroy this place and it is the reason why we are so isolated. I am not the only one who is able to 'see the light' and therefore control powers of a crystals. In the case of controlling the powers, there is a rune marking that appears as you saw in the blue light before, to mark the uniqueness of each crystal. I have only seen one other and she belongs to Tenebrae." Recounting, he fidgeted a little while he stood but he felt that it was worth telling her the secret he kept from just about everyone.
"Tenebrae is close to us but they are our enemies, and I have nothing to trust because of the Crystal...they have allegiances that function without my knowledge but we faced them for several hard years. The cold war has only just ended..." It was not to say that the attacks wouldn't come anymore, but they were at temporary peace to replan a mass attack. "With and Without the Crystal, this city will fall though I believe that erasing the old legend could ensure a permanent peace, while this could mean the destruction of the Crystal itself. I would be enemy to all no matter what..."
He was explaining way more than he knew how to but it seemed to have an order; Noctis was uncomfortable with talking openly and about the 'light', it just seemed to make it worse for his introverted personality. He tried very hard, however, because she may inspire him the way to end the conspiracies once and for all. This was different to the conversation he had with Stella, her allegiances were against his and he was glad he hadn't been so direct as she had because he had seen in her eyes that she was reluctant to fight him when they met again. Plus, she was so formal and polite, he couldn't be himself with her; they had nothing in common.
"I have my own allies but they are not duty bound to me nor do they posess powers of the Crystal." Images of his friends popped up and he felt the relief that he did have others to fight with or for; it almost made him appreciate it more as she seemed so neglected in her life. "There will be a solution that is between destruction and orders, we are not free until the Crystal's powers are put to rest and there is nothing to seek or take control of."
Looking at Lightning squarely in the eye now as his own flushed shades of the ocean, he was eager to show her the rest of his world. "Have you seen much of this place...?" As she had laughed before, he guessed he could be less formal and meagerly ...smiled, then walked two paces ahead of her, to instruct her to follow."It is not all monsters of course..."

"A goddess of the light" Lightning repeated with the shake of her head. Now why did that sound familiar? The fal'Cie were seen and feared as gods everyone maintained their distance from them. Everyone in Cocoon wished nothing more than to destroy the crystals to end the fal'Cie but none had the courage to face up to them.
Listening to his story as he answered her question telling her more about this place and a secret she didn't expect him to revel. It seemed they were earning each others trust. "I see you are faced with a difficult decision as well… It seems we are not so different as I thought" unlike her home this city needed the power of the crystals. Without that it would only fall. "Is that why you protect these crystals… how many exist in this place?"
The more she heard the more questions formed in her mind. Now she realized that she knew nothing about this place. When Lightning first came here she though she figured everything out but now she could see that there in more to this city.
"Allies… friends… I never had that in life. Never trusted anyone to that extent..." That was a reason why she isolated herself from the world and why she always worked alone. "There is always a solution to everything and only a matter of time till you find it… I am here searching for mine a solution for my problems and thought that coming to this place might help" A place away from her home was something she needed to bring her closer to the answer she was searching for.
"No still I haven’t gotten that chance yet" Lightning replied turning to follow once Noctis offered to show her around. "What else does this city have?" She wanted to see more in hopes of learning more to find the truth.

The tone of which she reflected what he said told him, she knew something about the legend. It was anyhow, a legend and perhaps many retellings of it had changed the original but those who knew still knew. It pleased him to see she agreed his decisions were difficult and aren't the best to have. Furthermore, she shared some of her own too; misery loves its company and Noctis turned his head to look over his shoulder at her while he walked on, until she caught up after taking the hint.
"I believe it is only one here, but there are others that are known to exist. This one has been under the protection of kings and so it is a lineage to do so for me as I am the last of my family. It's also because my home would be shattered if I didn't, so I protect the Crystal; it gives me the strength to keep the only and last thing I have ever been close to." He looked away, somewhat glimpsing the ground of the road they were travelling down, it was nothing too tragic and he was glad it made him who he was, in a way.
"If there are others that have not been found by others, I would still protect them." Noctis had pride in his choices as they were difficult to make, he always put alot of thought into it and he believed in justice though it was at an extreme end. There was cold blooded murder involved, but the way he had been brought up by a tough family holding supreme power over others by blackmail and sinister means, he couldn't really help it. "Maybe the solution is not to think of them as problems..." Wondering out loud, Noctis gazed around the dark street as the neared a junction and he needed to head one way or the other but sought something more to show her than what an average city would. Taking a left turn, he didn't flinch at the zap a breaking lamp post made, which was supposed to unnerve the atmosphere; he was vulnerable suddenly without the alertness he had when he didn't distract himself with people but that itself, went unnoticed.
"The city has one highway that ends in the Sea...but I will show you a different view no one else sees later." He left it hanging, they were only still walking because he couldn't muster up courage to teleport her anywhere, and at the same time there may be more to the streets than he knew.

"So there are more…" Lightning said wondering just how many crystals were there. She didn't even know how many existed in her own home. Though one thing was certain even when they were few in numbers the fal'Cie still possessed unlimited power enough to wipe out an entire world from existence but even then they forced others to do the job for them.
"Will you risk everything to protect this city and its crystals… even at the cost of your life?" Lightning asked. She wanted to know far he would go to protect what was important to him. For her she would risk everything to protect Serah even her life was that the same for Noctis? She wondered how far he would go to achieve his goal.
"Maybe" Lightning replied thinking the same as she glanced at the different building and places as they paced them. The more she saw of that city the more mystified she was. The truth was still out of reach. The more she saw the more questions formed in her mind but Lightning remained silent to see more of this place and maybe then an answer would come.
She believed learning more about this place would bring her one step closer to the truth and what decisions to make. To save Cocoon or destroy it? A request from her sister or her focus two paths but she could only choose one.
"A different view no one else has seen?" 'Just where were they going' Lightning thought as she quickened her pace to keep up with him and waited to see what that view was.

"Yes, presumably..." If there were more fal'cie and l'cie, also that Stella had posession of one other meant that there would definitely be more Crystals; all different of course. Exactly how many, he didn't know but he was sure no one could know until the planet's destruction.
They were roaming like creatures on the prowl in the semi-darkness; their shadows looked much more eerily elongated until they blended with the night, as he took her into a street that was barely lit. In the distance there was the silhouette of an irregular monument; the angles of its design juxtaposed as lights shone through it's hollow windows.
Below, as it was situated upon a cliff, massive pipes that drained the city's water reservoir drowned the mouth of the river that led to the ocean. He was taking her close to there, because no one could enter except those who had the rites of passage, and who could simply because they could- and he was the only one. This place was the other side of his fortress and the corner that was kept quietly away from the humanity as the last remaining nature reserve in the city, though it allowed starships to travel and park in the caves within the mountainous terrain itself. The overview of where he had taken her was like a lagoon, but mysterious and dark; an unofficial star gate port to other worlds that was private to him.
Noctis materialised an anti gravity blade resembling a flat board with double edges. It had a ring in the middle where he could hold and wield it, but it could be dispatched like a boomerang too since it could float if he wanted. To be precise, all his weapons could be telekinetically controlled so anti-gravity wasn't the best way to describe it. This one just worked better with his mind, and it was larger than the others and it floated beside him until he reached the pebble beach of the river. The moonlight hit the surface and the ripples wove the faint outline of the moon in reflection.
"I would...Besides the duty, the Crystal gave me more than I bargained for...and this life. Without it, I would be lost even if a number of factors about my life would change had I been ignorant of its power..." Noctis realised how shallow the idea was, opening and closing his mouth straightaway, he wanted to add to what he'd said but moved on from it. "The city is ...keeps what I had, as home. You would risk your life...? Or should I say 'what's left of it'. In the process of risking the world, he had come to terms with his life as a 'ghost'.
One random day, he had come here listened to the sound of the water falling from the larger than life shaped pipes, and it seemed to be the perfect place he could associate with this city. He found it to be a display of everything, and true to this, she would be able to see everything on the jagged ledge leading up to the cliff top. He placed a foot on the blade to test its balance then turned to Lightning as the dissolved shapes of his other weapons began to form a whirlwind that seemingly opened the a path along the river, just enough so that there was a wave in a straight line directed towards the elevated ground on the very far side where the romanesque building was.
They were going to cross here, and she didn't know but he had brought her through a shortcut that was blocked off during the day; it was why they were getting away from the heart of the city so fast.
"From there you will see ..."my prison...my home..."everywhere the common people of this city can't and it is different from staring out a fogged glass window." He added. Noctis watched as the curved wave on the surface...that was their path, curled like flesh that had been carved out, the edges were like a meniscus while the rest of the river surface flowed calmly and horizontally. The fishes were still swimming in the water, it was as though they were going through a tunnel aquarium but they were not traveling on the river bed, but only slightly into main level. "This will follow me, as you can't cross without ... perhaps... activating your gravity bomb? If that works this way..." Speaking slowly and meticulously, he wanted to tell Lightning to get onto the blade...just stand on it so it would support her but didn't know how to start as it was probably one of the weirdest experiences he was going to offer. It wasn't surprising though, he hadn't used another method to transport someone alike teleporting but which allowed them to travel with him in a swift way.
So this was all improvised based on what he did when he was bored. Noctis fuzzed out of the picture, where he had stood beside the hovering object and hologrammed himself with multiple teleportations, across the water, wondering how Lightning was going to take this. Pausing to extend each time he appeared, as he couldn't literally walk on water but it was the closest he could get without just dragging her with him and spinning her through the vortex of time, he knew that was normally meant for his victims and enemies, as it seemed to make them nauseous and off guard.

Lightning could hardly see what was in front of them now as they entered another street and moved further away from the city's lights. She kept on walking only slower now with her hand on her Edge Blaze ready to draw it in case they were attacked by monsters.
"What is this place…?" She asked stopping to glance around the lagoon. It reminded Lightning of her home a place where she and her sister used to go to just sit there and admire the beauty of nature. Some where to just relax and clear your thoughts but that was before all their problems started. A small satisfies smile formed on her lips finally she found something these two cities had in common.
Lightning remained silent the entire time and waited to see what Noctis wanted to show her was it this place? She saw another blade metalized out of thin air. It was different in shape from the ones she saw before and she wondered what he planned to do with this sword.
"I would risk my life to protect what is important to me yes… but my city Cocoon I don't know..." If things were different then maybe she would have but to protect it now she needed a reason. She couldn't understand why her sister asked her to protect Cocoon? Why would she want to risk her life for a place that hated their existence? She let that thought fade and took another step closer to the water.
"So are we going to cross this river?" The answer came sooner than expected as she saw Noctis step on his sword. So that was the method he would use to get across? "Interesting... I can only imagine whats on the other side... but I don't understand why are you sharing this with me?"
Another question would be how to get across? She didn't see a path or a way that leads to the other side but she had a feeling he already planned everything out. And there it was a tunnel formed in the water creating a path for them both.
"Is this how you always get around?" Lightning asked glancing around one last time before taking another step and activated her Gravity Bomb. Waves of light blue formed around her as her electrical shield was activated. Soon she will see what waited for them on the other side the view Noctis mentioned one no one else has seen. Maybe an answer waited for her there.

If she was wondering why he was sharing this with her, he hadn't really found the right answer yet. But, how was he going to say he never shared anything with anyone ...least of all a stranger, but not allow her to think it was to obtain something from her or creepily too friendly. Noctis hoped he could figure out a suitable but honest answer and rolled his eyes in thought then stared at her for a bit. It was because she had activated her gravity bomb and it was definitely alien to him, what he was seeing.
"Yes, but I am crossing this river with you...I don't usually get around this way, it was only out of interest that I found this method of travel, I'd be there just by thinking of it if I wanted." He answered and pivoted the blade, the sharp edges glistening but posing less than dangerous. Leading her wasn't so hard, she followed without wondering off like his other friends did and sometimes they went ahead of him so he was the one following. Noctis slapped his hand against a flying corner of his coat and the creases flattened whilst rippling with the wind while the water foamed.
They were going to near the other end fast this way but without being invisible and taking time to see everything around. "As for why I am sharing this with you...I don't think the place has any objections with a possible reason. Let me think about it..." That was true, so she was going to have to take it or leave it and Noctis knew she wouldn't be so unkind as to repeat her question so soon. This while, he had been hovering slightly above her level, but now lowering himself and bending to be in line with her, he continued, while drawing her away from the shore. "Unless you are curious about how else I may get around? I won't need to think about bringing you across that way...except, I'd saved that for later."
Spinning back round, he was still guiding her, but since her gravity activation meant she sped up, and he was commanding his transportation at will, they were almost there. The noise of the water was increased tremendously and he felt as though there were live drums beating at his ears, which was rather annoying but Noctis surveyed the area to beat that irritance. After a moment, he changed his mind and never finished explaining what was happening or...about to happen.
"In fact, it may be necessary..." Holding out a hand, it was outstretched for her to reach but he didn't know whether to actually take her hand or leave it as his palm faced down as though to support her. All she needed was to touch him though, and he could move her through a swirling vortex. We need to go up... his thoughts were like chipmunks pushing eachother away with tiny voices telling him how he is a person who is reserved, this was out of his character and definitely way out of line with his duties. The list kept going but Noctis hushed them with one sudden question. What would happen if she was in the presence of his Crystal, would they repel or would they ...bond? what consequence could result... It was doomed, he was now intrigued and needing to know but indecisive about it; he was waiting it out and cursing the idea for it's advent.
